Hayden Panettiere & Katy Perry Chill With Minnie Mouse

Take a bow
Monday, April 27th, 2009

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere and popstar Katy Perry (who was recently seen hangin’ with Rihanna in Barbados) met up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, FL over the weekend to pose for a cute pic with Disney World’s HBIC Minnie Mouse … behold:

Hayden and Katy were chillin’ at the park before they took to the stage for Disney’s Grad Nite, which is an in-park concert for High School seniors (Hayden hosted, Katy performed). The three ladies look all cute with their matching bows and shizz … it sounds like the Grad Nite was a big hit this year — bands like Metro Station and White Tie Affair also performed for the high school seniors. It’s hard to believe that it’s already graduation time again … but when the Mouse says it’s time to graduate, it’s time to graduate. Congrats class of 2009!!

More Photos Of Britney Spears & Sons At Disney World’s Magic Kingdom

More cuteness abounds
Saturday, March 7th, 2009

Yesterday we saw a couple of photos of Britney Spears with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James making a quick pit stop at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Flordia (in between her concert stops in New Orleans, LA and Atlanta, GA) and today we get to see a couple more photos from her time at Disney. BritneySpears.com has been updated with two new photos of Brit and her boys at Disney this week:

While the photos are very similar to the first photo we saw yesterday, I can’t resist sharing the adorableness of Britney’s sons. They look so happy … and not just ‘cuz they are at Disney World but because they are with their mommy at Disney World. Britney’s decision to bring her children on tour with her — no matter the financial cost to their father Kevin Federline — was a wise one. It’s really great seeing Britney look so happy all the time. Great pics!!

Britney Spears Takes Her Sons To Disney World

The fam makes a pit stop on the way to her second concert date
Friday, March 6th, 2009

Pink readers Meghan and Jamie Leigh both gave me the heads up that Britney Spears and her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James were spotted at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Florida early in the day yesterday because each one of them saw her with their own eyes. Britney performed the second date of her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears in Atlanta, GA last night but she managed to fit in the trip to Disney World with her kiddies early in the day. Here is a photo of Britney with her youngest son Jayden James and her assistant Brett Miller riding the race cars in the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway and Meghan’s account of her Britney sighting yesterday:

Hey Trent, I saw Briney Spears and her two sons at the Magic Kingdom today at Walt Disney World. I did not get any pics, but I was walking right next to her for quite a bit. She was wearing a striped top, black skinny jeans and stilletto boots, and carrying one of her sons, who was holding a Buzz Lightyear doll. The other little man (I couldn’t tell which was which!) was in a double stroller being pushed by a nanny. She had a bodyguard who looked like that guy from the Green Mile–big scary man! But in a Hawaiian shirt–like that doesn’t stand out! My first impression was how incredibly thin and pretty she is in person! My husband is Cast Member and I am in Disney World all the time, but this is my first celebrity-sighting.

OMG! How fun! I would’ve DIED if I ran into Britney like that. Not to be out done, Pink reader Jamie Leigh was lucky enough to meet Britney yesterday at Disney World herself:

thought of you the whole time, and would flip his wig over this, lol. my first thought was, “ughh we kinda look alike……weird….” my friend will is an Imagineer, i drove over from a break from the office to eat lunch, we eat in a cafe just for people who live here, come annually etc (michael jackson has it, IRONY) she came in before heading to toon town and was eating behind our table, will got up and introduced me, “this is the incomparable jamie leigh” BARFFFFFFF i shook her hand, said nice to meet you (I WAS STARVING MIND YOU) said hi to her kids, cutteeeee then SHE asked for a picture and i said No, yes i turned your hero down – lol but i have good reason! i am a mess today! i worked long hours yesterday, i wasnt feeling too well these last few hours so i said if it ok if i pass??? not one of my best days, she said something like, “trust me girl, i know how that goes..” said im not attending a show, she offered.. wished her all the very best, said
nice to meet you and her little clan

Lord, have mercy … JL has got a lot more self-control than I would’ve had. I am so jealous of her … but I love that she thought to share the experience with us :) After the jump, check out one more photo of Britney and her kids posing in Toon Town at Disney World

Suri Holmes Cruise Rules The Magic Kingdom

Celeb kids don't have to wish upon a star
Thursday, February 19th, 2009

Suri Holmes-Cruise became a princess for a day this week when her parents, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, took her to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida and let her loose upon the park. Little Suri was allowed access to all of the Disney characters who were clamoring over one another to have their photo taken with the little robot. Here are a few pics of the Holmes-Cruises (including Connor Kidman-Cruise) as they enjoyed all the wonders that the Magic Kingdom has to offer:

Being the daughter of one of Hollywood’s most well paid actors certainly has its perks. And toddler Suri Cruise was enjoying the benefits of it during a family trip to Walt Disney World in Florida. The two-year-old, who was dressed as a princess for the occasion, looked to be having a magical time as she was treated to a very personal meet and greet with her heroes Mickey and Minnie Mouse while her doting parents Tom Cruise, 46, and Katie Holmes, 30, looked on. The Cruise family skipped the queues at the theme park and spent time with a number of characters including Cinderella – much to Suri’s delight. The toddler, who has become something of a fashionista despite her tender years, looked adorable in a blue ball gown and bare feet and was all smiles during the trip which was a Valentines Day surprise for her and her mother from film star Tom. Katie opted for a more casual look for the occasion and was sporting a striped top and jeans. Before the trip Cruise admitted that he had some special treats up his sleeve for his 30-year-old wife and would provide “a lot of surprises for her throughout the day.”

Aww, so precious. It really looks like Suri had a great time. I understand the only snafu came when the family rode the It’s A Small World ride and Suri got lost amongst the other animatronic children. Because it was very difficult to find Suri in the midst of all the other adorable little robots, they had to shut down the ride to find the little doll. I believe she was found hiding amongst the Tahitian robots. In any event, it appears that the entire family had a great visit to Disney World … clearly evident from the smiles on all of their faces. See, even robots need to vacation every once-in-a-while.

Michael Phelps Goes to Disney World

A homecoming parade in his honor
Saturday, August 30th, 2008

14-time Olympic Gold Medalist, US swimmer Michael Phelps, was treated to a hero’s welcome at the Magic Kingdom at the Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL during a parade thrown in his honor yesterday afternoon. Here are a few pics of Phelpsie and the 2 most famous mice in the world at yesterday’s event:

Direct from the Beijing Games where he won a record eight Gold Medals, world champion swimmer Michael Phelps celebrated his unprecedented achievement with an all-American homecoming parade in his honor at Walt Disney World Resort. In a star-spangled salute amidst confetti and thousands of flag-waving fans in the Magic Kingdom, Phelps was honored for his record-setting wins and for the spirit in which he captivated the world in his quest for Gold. The 23-year-old from Baltimore beamed as he rode through the park alongside Mickey Mouse, waving to fans who chanted his name. Magic Kingdom guests joined in “America’s Homecoming Parade” for the swimmer who broke records in each event he entered in Beijing. For Phelps, who also was honored in Disney parades at both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland Park in California following the 2004 Summer Games, it was a sweet homecoming to the United States and to see fans who supported him in his quest for Gold in Beijing. “I am so happy to celebrate here and see some of the fans who supported me,” said Phelps. “It’s great to feel so much excitement around the sport of swimming in the U.S. and around the world. To top it all off with a parade at Disney World is just incredible.” During his celebration in the Magic Kingdom, Phelps also took time to meet a group of local swimmers from the central Florida area. The aspiring young swimmers had the chance to talk with Phelps, ask about his record-breaking experiences and see the Gold Medals he won in Beijing. Phelps’ celebration at Walt Disney World is planned to be the next feature on his wildly popular Facebook.com page. Phelps, one of the most popular public figures on the social networking site, has nearly 1.5 million Facebook “fans” who have subscribed to receive his latest news and updates. Phelps said he plans to offer photographs and video of his Walt Disney World visit on his Facebook.com site. Phelps, who has announced he will train for the 2012 Games, now owns the record for most Gold Medals in a single event (8) and for a career (14).

Aww, this is so cute! It’s great to see an athlete of his caliber work so hard for so long and then be able to enjoy the spoils of victory afterward. He really has become a hero to so many folks, both young and old, here in the US and being honored by Disney in this way is truly a unique feat. Congrats! After the jump, check out a short video released by Disney from Phelps’s Disney Parade yesterday …
