Yesterday we learned from E!News that Demi Moore has checked herself into the fancy Cirque Lodge addiction treatment center in Sundance, Utah. We heard a couple of weeks ago the horrible news that Demi had been hospitalized for substance abuse. Now we know that she is in rehab and hopefully getting the treatment and care that she needs. Yesterday we learned the sad news that Demi Moore was hospitalized late Monday night due to “substance abuse” and subsequently checked herself into a rehab facility for what her publicist is referring to as “exhaustion”. Today we are hearing a bit more information about the circumstances that reportedly led to Demi‘s hospitalization. According to reports, Demi suffered a seizure after she recreationally inhaled nitrous oxide (commonly referred to as whip its). Other reports maintain that Demi‘s earlier “substance abuse” may have played a role in the end of her marriage to Ashton Kutcher. Whatever is really going on with Demi these days, it’s pretty evident to me that she is not doing well and perhaps this stint in rehab is a long time coming. Ugh.

Ugh … very sad Demi Moore news to pass along today … according to TMZ, paramedics were called to Demi‘s home late Monday night in response to a substance abuse call. After about a half hour of treatment, Demi was rushed to the hospital … then later released so that she could check in to a rehab facility. On Friday night, the Creative Arts Agency hosted a swanky pre-Golden Globes party at the SoHo House in West Hollywood, CA and brought out a veritable Who’s Who of celebs for the event.
