MTV has decided to bring back the celebrity prank series Punk’d and in order to do so, they have to play new pranks on celebrities to be aired on the show. This weekend, MTV tried to pull a prank on Neil Patrick Harris … and they failed. Earlier in the day yesterday, NPH tweeted a photo of his partner David Burtka telling his Twitter followers that they were about to enjoy a day of rock climbing. A few hours later, Neil tweeted that the jig was up … he was WELL AWARE that MTV was trying to prank him on Punk’d (apparently, there was a bear involved). I guess he wasn’t supposed to publicly let people know that he knew he was being pranked, so he deleted the follow-up tweets. But you can still read all of the relevant Punk’d tweets and see the photo he posted below.

For years, David Burtka has been a loving behind the scenes support system for his partner Neil Patrick Harris but today we learn the happy news that David is about to step into the limelight and embark on a new venture in front of the cameras. Burtka has signed a deal with E! News to become the new face of their entertainment reporting programs, kicking off in January. Altho David has enjoyed success on Broadway and in the culinary world, this will be his first foray into the world of entertainment … and I think he will do a fantastic job as the new face of E!

We are just DAYS away from the theatrical release of The Muppets movie but last night here in Hollywood, CA, our fave fuzzy friends were on hand for the Hollywood premiere of their new film. Kermit the Frog & Miss Piggy were joined by co-stars Jason Segel & Amy Adams along with Buffyverse alums (and happily marrieds) Alyson Hannigan & Alexis Denisof as well as Neil Patrick Harris and his fiancée/babydaddy David Burtka. Actor Neil Patrick Harris was honored in Hollywood today with the 2,448th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As many of you should be well aware, NPH has been in showbiz for a very long time … starting way back in the 80s when he played kid doctor Doogie Howser, M.D. After he enjoyed a short stint on Broadway in Rent, NPH reemerged on the scene in the comedy film Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle … and the rest is history. New daddy David Burtka, who is father to twin babies with his partner Neil Patrick Harris, was spotted out with his gorgeous baby daughter Harper Grace here in SoCal yesterday doing solo daddy duty. David and Harper paid a visit to a pediatric medical center but it is not known if little Harper is sick or if she just went in for a check-up. What is certain is that David and Harper make an absolutely adorable twosome. Check out the photos below.

Early last week we saw really cute photos of Neil Patrick Harris, his hubby David Burtka and their beautiful twin babies Gideon Scott and Harper Grace jetting out of LAX Airport headed for NYC where daddy NPH needed to do some promo for his new film Beastly. It turns out that Neil‘s promo duties are finished because he and the family showed up in Hawaii this week lookin’ ready for some rest and relaxation.

Neil Patrick Harris, his hubby David Burtka and the couple’s twin babies Harper Grace & Gideon Scott were spotted at LAX Airport ready to embark on what I presume is the family’s first flight together! Neil and the fam are hittin’ the road so they can promote his new film Beastly (which stars Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer). As you can see in the photos below, David was charged with carrying Gideon while the nanny carried Harper … and NPH looked on adoringly.

Late last month we got our first look at twin babies Harper Grace and Gideon Scott with their proud fathers Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka in the pages of People magazine. Today we get to see the babies (kinda) enjoying a family stroll with their two dads and a couple of friends. The Burtka-Harris family braved the chilly SoCal rain yesterday to enjoy a family stroll … but the babies, bless their little hearts, were safely tucked out of sight inside their fathers’ shirts and jackets.
