David Beckham spent some quality time with his sons Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David here in SoCal this week playing some sports with his boys … but the Beckham men weren’t interested in playing soccer … they were more interested in playing a more traditionally American sport — football:

It seems David Beckham’s sons are well on there way to becoming all-American boys. Cruz, four, and Romeo, seven, and Brooklyn, nine, who now call Los Angeles home, were seen enjoying a game of American football yesterday. The little trio were in good spirits as they wrestled for the ball and at one stage Cruz lead an impromptu game of baseball. David was forced to coach from the sidelines after he twisted his ankle during a LA Galaxy match against Chivas USA last week. But sources say the star is wearing a medical boot as a precaution, and is expected to recover in time for the biggest game of his U.S. football career this weekend. His team is set to face Real Salt Lake in the final of the MLS Cup on Sunday in Seattle. Prior to Beckham’s injury, the team had been favourites to win the championship and it would be their first accolade since he joined the club three seasons ago.

Now, y’all know that I love any pics of Becks (or any dad for that matter) spending quality time with his kids but these photos are just too much. I love that the Beckham boys really do look like all American kids playing with their dad, who just so happens to be an international soccer star. Congratulations are in order for hottie actor Johnny Depp who has just been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine. As you may be aware, Depp also just became the highest paid actor ever after securing a $33 million paycheck to appear in Pirates of the Caribbean 4 … so needless to say, he is having a good week. Here is Johnny on the cover of the new issue of People magazine which pays tribute to Hollywood’s sexiest men:

Considering how sexy Johnny really is, I’m surprised this is the photo that People decided to use for their cover … they deffo could’ve found a sexier photo, don’t you think? As you may recall, People selected Hugh Jackman as the Sexiest Man Alive last year … but there are 109 other sexy men who made the cut this year along with Johnny. Over the weekend we learned that Victoria Beckham and the eldest Beckham child Brooklyn spent some time in Kentucky last week to visit an underprivileged school in order to draw attention to the the plight of impoverished youth but daddy David Beckham stayed home in SoCal to tend to the other children … and spent a bizzy weekend all over town. Becks looked sharp as hell as he showed up at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA before changing into his LA Galaxy uni to play a match (likely his last of the season, or ever) on Friday night. Then Becks was spotted courtside at a LA Lakers basketball game showing his prowess as an athletic supporter … here are a few pics:

You know, this mohawky hair’do would look really dumb on pretty much everyone else but Becks really knows how to make it work. He look great … sexy, even. As cool as it is that VB spent some time in Kentucky working with underprivileged children, I’m glad Becks stayed in town to spread his hotness around to the masses.

Oh, there is another bit of random Beckham news which I have to share with all y’all. While the real life Becks looks all hot and shizz, a new waxwork statue at Louis Tussaud’s in Thailand of Les Beckhams look anything but hot — in fact, they look downright terrifying. David Beckham brought the fam to the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA yesterday to watch him play with his LA Galaxy team against rival team Chivas … and as you can see from the following photos, Becks got himself a new hair’do … one to match his youngest son, Cruz’s new hair’do:

Aww … ain’t this the cutest thing ever? Becks and Cruz make quite an adorable pair. But, Becks wasn’t only at the Home Depot Center to show off his new ‘do, he was actually there to play some serious soccer with his Galaxy cohorts. It turns out that the LA Galaxy managed to pull off another win — which means that Becks will NOT be returning to the UK to play with the English Team against Brazil later on in the week. Now, because Becks and the Galaxy won — there was much cause for celebration at the end of the match … and you know what that means … (hint: there is shirtlessness behind the jump)

Back in September we learned that David Beckham reportedly signed a deal with Italian football club AC Milan to return to Europe to play for the team in January after the MLS soccer season here in the US comes to a close. Today, AC Milan has officially announced the deal, confirming that Becks will play for Milan again. Over the weekend, tho, Becks was still in his LA Galaxy uniform playing for his current team … in addition to playing, Becks was also yelling and scratching … behold:

LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham’s move to AC Milan has been confirmed. Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed LA Galaxy have agreed a January loan deal that will keep Becks’ World Cup hopes alive. England boss Fabio Capello told midfielder Beckham, 34, he would rule him out of the 2010 finals unless he plays in a top European League next year. And Becks has now clinched his first-choice move — a repeat of last season’s Milan spell where he hit two goals in 18 games. Galliani said: “The agreement for David Beckham has been completed. In a few hours we and Galaxy will officially announce this deal. We are just waiting for the very last documents but I confirm that he will return to Milan.” AC Milan coach Leonardo added: “I consider Beckham as if he had always been here because he has only been away for six months. “In any case he will be a player that will contribute a lot, not only on the pitch but also inside the group, as the players like him infinitely.”

And there you have it … it remains to be seen if we’ll get to enjoy Beckham’s talents here with the LA Galaxy in the future but he is deffo heading back to AC Milan to play there again. As much as Becks love his soccer, it’s clear that he also loves his basketball. Becks and his eldest son Brooklyn were spotted courtside at an LA Lakers game this weekend as well. David and Victoria Beckham, along with their sons Romeo and Cruz, were spotted in prime court-side seats at the Los Angeles Lakers basketball game at the Staples Center last night rooting on their home team. It’s interesting that Vicki B. decided to tag along to last night’s game because she doesn’t usually accompany Becks to basketball games … which is why he sometimes gets into trubs for ogling the Laker Girls cheereleaders. With VB sitting right next to him last night, tho, Becks was on his best behavior:

David Beckham has become quite the fan of basketball since moving Stateside – but is he interested in the game or the scantily-clad cheerleaders? Posh Spice is taking no chances and made sure she was sat right next to David throughout an LA Lakers game yesterday. Victoria and David took sons Cruz and Romeo to the match, but all the boys seemed to be having much more fun than po-faced Posh. Posh, dressed in super-skinny black jeans, a black vest top and sky-scraper black and gold Christian Louboutin heels, looked thoroughly bored during the game. At one point, the basketball rolled off the court towards her but rather than picking it up and throwing it back to the players, Posh swept her feet up out of the way in horror! Cruz and Romeo seemed to be having a lot more fun – cheering the players on and getting absorbed in the spirit of the game. David also looked to be enjoying himself and didn’t appear to be distracted by the cheerleaders once. Whether that was because he’s learned his lesson or because Posh apparently kept an iron grip on his arm throughout most of the match is anyone’s guess.

LOL … atta girl … keepin’ an eye on Becks should be a joy not a chore ;) It’s nice to see the family all together again … not sure where the eldest Beckham boy, Brooklyn, was but methinks he decided to bail and hang with friends rather than hang out with his parents and kid brothers. I wonder if we’ll be able to see Les Beckhams and kids all dressed up for Hallowe’en? Any guesses on what they might dress up as?

Yesterday we learned that David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy managed to win the MLS Western Conference Championship after they defeated the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night and it looks like Sunday afternoon was for celebratin’. Here are a couple photos of Becks and his boys — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — as they made their way out of their friendly neighborhood Pinkberry fake yogurt shop with their icy delights yesterday afternoon:

While the Beckham boys were enjoying their Pinkberry treats, mama Victoria Beckham was winging her way back home to SoCal after spending some time in the UK doing whatever it is that she does when she flies there every other week. I mean, as far as Glad trash bags go … this looks like a nice one. I’m sure the Beckham Bunch are happily reunited by now … I wonder if the boys saved any Pinkberry for VB.
