Romeo James Beckham celebrated his 8th birthday yesterday in SoCal and did so with a fun game of Laser Tag with his entire family! Les Beckhams, David and Victoria, funded the fete and invited a select group of Romeo‘s friends for a day of family fun … here are a few photos:

The Beckhams entered a futuristic world of lasers and mazes to celebrate their son Romeo’s eight birthday yesterday. Victoria and David took their family along to the Ultrazone amusement centre Los Angeles, with the likes of Heidi Klum and Seal bringing their brood along to join in the fun. However it is quite possible that Victoria, in her tottering high heels, might have decided to sit the game out. The venue boasts a 5,000 square feet multi-level arena. Players have to run around and laser each other to score points. Romeo’s brother Brooklyn, 11,and five-year-old Cruz were, of course, in on the action. Victoria, 35, was snapped outside the venue with the family, wearing a bright green dress. The front of the building was decked out with a masses of yellow balloons and guests could be seen milling around enjoying the spread laid on.

It turns out that Heidi Klum, Seal and their children were also in attendance at yesterday’s party … which sounds like it was a total blast! In birthdays past, Romeo has had karate parties, costume parties and pizza parties. I think a game of Laser Tag sounds like a lot of fun. Let’s send all our birthday lurve to the middle Beckham child … here’s hoping his 8th year will be his best yet!

On Saturday we saw a few photos of David and Victoria Beckham chillin’ at their summer beach house together in Santa Monica, CA. Today we get to see new photos from Les Beckhams‘s ongoing Summer share at the beach … here is Becks welcoming you in with open, er, arms:

David Beckham rounded up his entire family — including wife Victoria Beckham and 3 sons Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — for a fun outing at Universal Studios here at Universal City yesterday afternoon. The Beckham bunch hung out all afternoon with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his family … possibly because Becks was trying to hire his BFF to become his family’s new chef … word is, Becks is trying to save some money by downsizing his personal staff:

Victoria and David Beckham have slashed their workforce after the celebrity couple was warned they were wasting huge amounts of money on surplus staff. The former Spice Girl and her soccer superstar husband are estimated to be worth $172 million and have a string of homes around the world, including properties in England, Los Angeles, France and Dubai. Each of the houses is said to have an independent workforce, but the singer-turned-designer has decided to scale back on number of workers in the couple’s employment following a stern warning from an accountant. According to Britain’s The Sun, the couple has dismissed six gardeners from their French chateau, a long term cleaner at their estate in Hertfordshire, England and six chauffeurs. A source tells the publication, “This very no-nonsense accountant gave it to Vic straight and said, ‘You can afford to employ all of these people. But why the hell do you?’ ” “Once the accountant pointed out that level of staffing was not required Vic pushed the button. There has been a large downsize. David and Victoria are multi-millionaires but that doesn’t mean they have to waste money – and they were hemorrhaging it.”

HMMM … it sounds like Les Beckhams are actually being frugal for once … which sounds wise. As for these photos, I love them! Both David and Victoria spend as much of their free time with their children as possible and it’s entirely darling. We rarely see them hanging out with their friends and even when they do (like they did yesterday at Universal) they often like to bring their kiddies along. Cute!

Victoria Beckham ventured out in SoCal last night with her 3 sons in tow but while middle son Romeo James was hiding out in the back recesses of the ginormous Beckham family SUV, eldest and youngest sons Brooklyn Joseph and Cruz David were putting on a show for the ever-watchful paparazzi … much to Vicki B‘s chagrin:

These little Beckhams are going to grow up to be hellions, I can just tell. I think they best prepare themselves for little Cruz to be the worst of the bunch … he looks like he can’t wait to cause trouble. You can tell that Romeo will be the best behaved, least worrisome for Les Beckhams. It’s a shame that Vicki B. is not pregs with another child … I really think she could use a little girl to toss into the mix.

David Beckham, who returned home to SoCal after many months away due to his commitment to his other soccer team AC Milan (which resulted in a very painful foot injury), stepped out onto the soccer field here at home for the first time since he was injured earlier this year. Becks and his sons — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — spent some time kicking around the soccer ball together yesterday afternoon:

Following months away from the pitch as he recovers from injury, it looks like David Beckham is easing himself back into the game… with the help of his three sons. After taking his boys to the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, the 35-year-old was spotted enjoying a kickaround with them in a Los Angeles park yesterday. While graciously letting his sons get more ball possession, it looks like the midfielder is well on the way to building up his fitness ahead of his return to LA Galaxy next month. Becks revealed over the weekend he was eyeing a return to LA Galaxy in September after an encouraging appointment with his doctor. When October was mentioned, he said: ‘Two or three weeks before that. It’s just about getting strength back in my calf.’ Beckham was heartbroken when he was forced to pull out of the World Cup after tearing his Achilles tendon when he was on loan from Galaxy to AC Milan in March. Fans are hoping he will be ready to rejoin Galaxy in time for their game against the New York Red Bulls on September 24, with their new acquisition Thierry Henry. But in the meantime, Beckham looked content to be spending quality time with his sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and Cruz, five, yesterday. Young Romeo was showing his family pride by wearing his dad’s Galaxy shirt with Beckham and number 23 written across the back.

Easy does it, Becks. I’m glad to see that he’s back on the field but I do hope he takes it easy. I’m so in love with the fact that he has been inseparable from his sons lately. It’s great to have him back home in SoCal :)

Last night at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Studios in Universal City, CA the 2010 Teen Choice Awards were handed out with as much glitz and fun as could be packed into one night. In unsurprising news, The Twilight Saga and its cast were the big winner of the night but they had to share some of the glory with The Vampire Diaries, which aslo cleaned up in awards last night. Here are some photos from the red blue carpet arrivals and some deets about who won what:

Bloodsuckers struck another vein at the Teen Choice Awards with “The Twilight Saga” ruling Sunday’s ceremony with 12 wins, including choice fantasy movie and villain, while “The Vampire Diaries” sucked up seven surfboard-shaped trophies at the taped ceremony, which is scheduled to air Monday at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox. “This is what this night is all about,” said a gothed-out Katy Perry. “Vampires.” The goofy “California Girls” singer hosted the show with the male stars of “Glee.” Besides going goth, her costume changes included donning hippie garb next to Kevin McHale, being crowned prom queen with prom king Chris Colfer, geeking out with Mark Salling and landing a split as a cheerleader alongside Cory Monteith. “Tonight is my chance to go back to high school,” said Perry, “although this time people actually like me.” Voters continued to really like “Twilight” stars Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson, who were present to accept their multiple awards, seemingly handed out like candy at the freewheeling ceremony. I don’t usually tune in to the Teen Choice Awards but I might have to make sure and watch the show when it airs tonight on Fox at 8PM. No, it’s not because I need to see Twilight and The Vampire Diaries win everything … it’s because I want to see this right here:

Earlier this week we saw adorable photos of David Beckham and his 3 sons — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — as they enjoyed a game of football in England together. It was reported then that Becks is due to return home to LA so that he can rejoin his soccer team the LA Galaxy on August 9 … today we get to see photos of Becks and the boys making their return to SoCal as they arrived this week at LAX Airport:

As you may already know, Becks has been away from SoCal for most of this year … he started out the year playing for his European soccer team AC Milan during the Galaxy off-season and then was due to play for England in the 2010 World Cup. After he injured his Achilles tendon, he took on an honorary role with the English Team and traveled with them to South Africa to watch the World Cup from the sidelines. Once England was eliminated from the tournament, Becks met up with his family in France for a little vacay … then they made their way to England for a bit more rest and relaxation. But, Summer vacation is over … Becks is back in LA, ready to get back to work with the LA Galaxy. His return to the soccer field will be the first time he will play professionally since he was injured earlier this year. I’m certain he wouldn’t be returning to the game if he wasn’t 100% recuperated but still … I hope he takes care of himself. Becks‘s days as a professional soccer player are running out … one more injury could end his career for good. Here’s hoping he has a very successful season with the Galaxy … maybe the first of a few successful seasons.

David Beckham and fam are currently in London, England doing a bit of visiting with the extended family there and Becks rounded up his children — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — for a little sports outing yesterday afternoon. Becks and the boys were spotted in the stands at Emirates Stadium to watch the Arsenal vs. AC Milan match. The Beckham boys did everything possible to look as absolutely adorable as possible as the game progressed … as these photos can attest:

They might be the sons of arguably the world’s most famous footballer, watching two of the greatest teams play at one of England’s best stadiums – but David Beckham’s children seemed more interested in their Woody doll than the game. Beckham took sons Brooklyn, 11, seven-year-old Romeo and Cruz, five, to watch Arsenal take on his former team AC Milan at Emirates Stadium this afternoon. But instead of watching two teams compete in the Emirates cup, Beckham’s brood were more interested in playing with their Toy Story 3 Woody doll. But Brooklyn and Romeo did show their support for AC Milan by wearing team shirts, while Cruz hedged his bets in a red T-shirt. Despite his children apparently finding their toys more interesting than the game, Beckham made sure he kept a close eye on the match, which ended with a 1-1 draw, ahead of his return to LA Galaxy on August 9 … [Said his spokesman] ‘David is happy at the Los Angeles Galaxy and has no interest in leaving, and is looking forward to returning to the team on August 9.’

It’s great to see that the Beckhams are enjoying their Summer in London but it’s even greater to hear that Becks is prepping for his return to LA and to the LA Galaxy. As y’all should be well aware, Becks injured his Achilles Tendon earlier this year and was forced to miss out on playing in the 2010 World Cup Soccer Tournament (the last of his career). Thankfully, after a successful surgery and lots of time to recuperate, Becks is all healed and ready to get on the soccer fields of glory once again! There was a sillly rumor going around recently that the West Ham United soccer team was courting Becks to play for them but it was quickly denied … Becks is, apparently, really looking forward to returning here to play with the LA Galaxy. Since Becks is due to rejoin the Galaxy next weekend, the family will likely be returning here to the States sometime this week. He’s been away for far too long, it’ll be nice to have Les Beckhams back home in SoCal.

Last weekend we saw very cool photos of David Beckham chillin’ with the British troops in Afghanistan on a quick visit to the region to spread cheer and goodwill to the military personnel stationed there … but today we learn that Becks has made his way back home to SoCal. One of the first things on his agenda? Enjoying a frogurt date with his sons at Yogurtland!

Um, yeah, the Beckham boys really do love their frozen yogurt … there’s hardly a day that goes by without the Beckhams paying a visit to one of the many frozen yogurt shops here in LA. As you may recall, we saw that Brooklyn Joseph (the eldest Beckham child) made his very stylish red carpet debut at the LG Mobile event hosted by his mother Victoria Beckham Monday night … but he is much more dressed down and casual in these photos. No word on how long Becks will stay in town with the fam but he is due to make his way to South Africa to be with the English Team for the World Cup Tournament there next month. It looks like Becks is trying to enjoy as much frogurt as he can, while he can.
