Mark Salling posted a brilliant photo on his official Twitter profile of his “Glee bros” posing as members of The Village People that is just too brilliant not to share. I’m hearing that the photo may be a fan-created Photoshop manip, but it looks so good that … well, one cannot be so sure. All of the members of The Village People are represented by each of the Glee stars. Click below to check out the photo.

A couple of weeks ago, we learned the somewhat surprising (but not really) news that 3 of Glee‘s main actors — Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith — would be written off the show after the end of the upcoming 3rd season after their characters graduate from high school. In the wake of that announcement, Emmy Award nominations came out (including a nom for Chris Colfer) and eyebrows were raised over the way the actors were informed that they were being axed from the show (ie. they found out via social media or in the news … they, apparently, were not told in person). Today we learn that the powers that be at Glee have changed their minds … Lea, Chris and Cory will NOT be leaving the show after all. The characters will remain on Glee after season 3 … in an apparent attempt to appease fans of the show.

Earlier this month we learned that Glee star Chord Overstreet is being reduced from series regular to a guest starring role on the upcoming 3rd season of the show. Today we learn from Glee creator Ryan Murphy, by way of The Hollywood Reporter, that 3 of the show’s main characters will be graduating at the end of season 3 … thereby leaving the show forever. Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Corey Monteith, who played sophomores on Glee when the show debuted 2 years ago, will play high school seniors in season 3 … hence, they will then graduate off the show.

Earlier this week we saw photos and video of the cast of Glee, who are filming the final eps of the season in NYC this week, shooting a musical number in Times Square … then we saw them filming in Central Park … and today we get to see photos of the cast filming in Washington Square Park. Clearly, Glee‘s mission was to completely overtake ALL of NYC. Check out photos and video from yesterday’s shoot in Washington Square.

Yesterday we saw photos and video of the female cast of Glee filming scenes for an upcoming episode in the middle of Times Square in NYC, NY and today we get to see new photos and video of the cast — both female and male — filming scenes in Central Park. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous in NYC this week, which means that these new NYC Glee scenes will look amazing on film. Check out the photos and some video below.

The cast of Glee have packed up their bags and have made their way from their homebase here in SoCal to New York City where the show will be filming all week one of if not the last episode of the season. As you may know, you faithful Gleeks, the New Directions Glee Club tends to yearly make the attempt to compete at nationals … and they never quite make it. Considering that this year, the cast is actually filming in NYC (at Lincoln Center, no less) I’m guessing our beloved Glee club will fare better in the competition. Glee stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith have already been spotted filming in the city … check out below photos of the actors filming fun scenes around Times Square this weekend.

Co-stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith were spotted yesterday on the Pasadena, CA set of Glee as they filmed scenes for the upcoming Xmas episode of the show … here are a couple photos from the Glee set:

The Glee Xmas album went on sale this past Tuesday perfectly timed with this week’s filming. It’s unclear if this year’s Xmas ep will be an over-the-top musicfest or if it will bring back that heart and soul of the show that made us all fall in love with Glee in the first place but one thing’s for sure, we won’t have to wait too long to find out. They may still be filming the ep this week but it will be ready to air in just a few weeks time. Xmas is getting here faster than I would like but in all honesty, I really am looking forward to the Glee Xmas episode this year … aren’t you?

Last month Glee castmembers Dianna Agron, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith created quite a stir with the racy photos they posed for in the pages of GQ magazine. For the most part, all the hoopla over the photos has died down so, GQ has released behind the scenes video from the shoot to remind us that those photos existed in the first place and to mebbe squeeze out a bit more publicity for their mag:

Actors and Op spokesmen Alex Meraz (from Twilight), Cory Monteith (from Glee) and Trevor Donovan (from 90210) made their way out to Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch in Culver City, CA to host the Op Halloween Treat For Kids event yesterday afternoon. The guys hung out with a select group of lucky kids from a local chapter of The Boys and Girls Club of America who were treated to face painting, pumpkin painting and general Hallowe’en fun … here are a few cute photos:

I know we’re used to seeing photos of famous families (like Heidi Klum and fam) and individual celeb parents (like Halle Berry and Christina Aguilera) taking their children to the pumpkin patch but I think these photos of these young men hanging out with the kids at the pumpkin patch are just too adorable. It looks like the kids featured here are all boys … which is even cuter. I didn’t grow up with a big brother in the house so I can appreciate how much it must’ve meant to these boys to have Alex, Cory and Trevor devote some of their time to hang out with them. What a fun event!

As you my recall, earlier today we got to see these 3 Glee actors in the full performance video of Time Warp from next week’s episode devoted to the music of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but right now we get to see their racy new magazine spread in the new issue of GQ. GQ’s Alex Pappademas sits down with stars Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, and Lea Michele to discuss their relationships with their characters, cast mates, the racy GQ photo shoot, and the “no-trailer-sex” rule on set:

Lea Michele on people’s insisting she get a nose job:
“I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get one. And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, growing up, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And I didn’t. Fuck those people. That’s why I’m proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, ‘You don’t need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.’”

…on why the camaraderie among the show’s cast needs to last:
“Someone from [another] television show came up to us at an event and said that and I got offended. Our show won’t still be running in season three if we’re not feeling that way, because then we won’t be real, and people will see it. So let’s hope that everything stays that way. Because I need this. I need this family!”

…on the GQ photo shoot for this story:
“I don’t know how they got me to do half the stuff I did. But I was in really good shape this summer, so…”

Dianna Agron on the shoot and rumors that she and Michele are real life lovers:
“When it was just Lea and me, I was like, ‘We’re in skimpy clothes, we’re up against each other. This is feeding those rumors.’ I’ve never been shot in so little clothing.”

…on being the pregnant Cheerleader on Glee:
“I remember Ryan saying, ‘You’re about to get pregnant.’ And I thought, ‘Bring it on.’ When they put the pregnancy pad under my cheerleading outfit, I was walking around the set, and people were like, ‘Only on Glee!’”

Cory Monteith on growing up in Canada and dropping out of high school:
“You have to really look to get into trouble in Victoria, but I was industrious. Skipping school. Drinking. All that kind of crap. Things started off innocent like that. I definitely found myself in some places that I’m very fortunate I came back from…. The last thing I want to do is kind of imply to readers in high school that you too can drop out and be an actor and get on a big show and be -famous and make a shitload of money.”

…on Ryan Murphy’s “no-trailer-sex” rule:
“The first I heard about that was in the media. I was like, ‘Oh, really? Dammit!”

…on what really goes on inside those trailer:
“They all, like, hang out. ‘This sounds really cliché, but it’s true—it’s the high school experience I always wanted. Where we’re all growing into this new life together and figuring it all out as we go. I remember I’d come home from fifth, sixth grade, and I’d watch Saved by the Bell and be like, ‘I hope my high school experience is like that.’ And it totally wasn’t. It sucked.’”
