The ‘Glee’ Guys ‘Sing In The Rain’ For ‘Vanity Fair’ Magazine

Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, Mark Salling, Chris Colfer and Kevin McHale — the principal male stars of the hit Fox TV series Glee — were all on hand at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to pose for a photospread in Vanity Fair magazine. The Glee guys were all dressed up in trench-coats and were wielding umbrellas around the LACMA’s outdoor art installation Urban Light (which is basically a bunch of street lights grouped together in front of the museum) in an homage to the Gene Kelly classic Singing in the Rain:


Considering the weather we’ve been “enjoying” here in SoCal this week, it’s entirely possible that the guys were actually singing (and posing) in honest to goodness rain. No word on when these photos will be published in the pages of VF mag but I’ll be keepin’ an eye out. What a fun idea for a photoshoot, no?

Johnny Depp Named The ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

Congratulations are in order for hottie actor Johnny Depp who has just been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine. As you may be aware, Depp also just became the highest paid actor ever after securing a $33 million paycheck to appear in Pirates of the Caribbean 4 … so needless to say, he is having a good week. Here is Johnny on the cover of the new issue of People magazine which pays tribute to Hollywood’s sexiest men:


Break out the Bordeaux, the whoopee cushions and the bangin’ Keith Richards guitar solos, because the 2009 Sexiest Man Alive party is officially under way. Bringing the fun with him wherever he goes – whether it’s onscreen in fizzy roles like Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise or at home with his family on their private Bahamian island – is just one reason why Johnny Depp, who also scored the honor in 2003, has joined an elite club of two-time SMA title holders (only Brad Pitt and George Clooney have matched the feat). At 46, the father of two still reigns as Hollywood’s most irresistible iconoclast; as one-of-a-kind as his beloved 15-year-old boots and as smoldering as his favorite Cuban cigars.

Considering how sexy Johnny really is, I’m surprised this is the photo that People decided to use for their cover … they deffo could’ve found a sexier photo, don’t you think? As you may recall, People selected Hugh Jackman as the Sexiest Man Alive last year … but there are 109 other sexy men who made the cut this year along with Johnny. ‘Glee’s Cory Monteith Bared His Buns In ‘Bloody Mary’

Pink reader Chad gave me the head’s up that Glee star Cory Monteith has appeared in a few interesting projects before he found fame on Glee. It turns out that Monteith featured in a 2006 horror film Bloody Mary where he played a young artist who apparently liked to paint self-portraits in the nude … before getting killed by a smoky monster in a mirror. Yeah, I really don’t know shizz about this movie … but there is a vid clip online that shows the scene I mention above:
