Michael Cera was joined by co-stars and celeb friends at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA last night for the Hollywood premiere of his new film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Adapted from the graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O’Malley, this new film tells the tale of a 23-year old Canadian slacker who falls in love with a girl and must battle her 7 evil ex-boyfriends in order to win her heart. To be honest, I only had a passing awareness of the graphic novel series but I absolutely fell in love with the movie when I saw the first movie trailer earlier this year. I’ll be the first to admit that Michael Cera tends to bug the HELL out of me … but I was won over so entirely by the movie trailer that I am willing to overlook that fact and give the movie a chance. The film utilizes elements from comic books and video games to heighten the experience of the movie … it just looks really damn cool. I’ve since checked out some of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels and I’ve determined I like them very much. The animation in the books is very simple but effective … I really like the cuteness of the books. I’m hoping the film will be as fun as the trailer makes it seem. Last night, at the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal City here in SoCal, the 2010 MTV Movie Awards were handed out to … well, mostly to any and everyone remotely involved with The Twilight Saga: New Moon. We already know last night was a big night for Sandra Bullock who showed up at the MTV Movie Awards to collect this year’s Generation Award but, the affair was fun for the many celebs who made their way onto the red carpet last night … here are a few pics from the arrivals last night:

Congratulations are in order for Buffyverse alum and all-around funny guy Seth Green and his longtime girlfriend Clare Grant who got themselves hitched over the weekend! There is a bit of confusion over whether the happy couple said their I Dos on Saturday or on Sunday but whatever the case may be, they did tie the knot and are now enjoying happily wedded bliss!

Seth Green and Clare Grant have made their relationship official. The pair walked down the aisle on Saturday, May 1. The ceremony took place at George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in Northern California, reports said. Confirming the happy news, Seth’s musician/actor friend Weird Al Yankovic tweeted, “Just watched my buddy Seth Green get married. Beautiful wedding. Much love to him and his lovely bride Clare.” However, Radar Online claimed the wedding was held on Sunday afternoon, May 2. Seth and Clare met in 2008 and they became engaged earlier this year. The funnyman reportedly popped the question to the “The Graves” star on last New Year’s Eve. However, it was not until February that the “Old Dogs” actor confirmed the engagement.

Seth Green is one of the funniest young actors out there and I couldn’t be more thrilled for him and his new wife. It’s just crazy how members of Buffy‘s Scooby Gang are all growing up, getting married and having babies! Much love and many congrats goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Green today :)
