Christina Aguilera sat down to talk with Extra! TV about all of the troubles she’s endured in the past few months and she revealed that she is thankful to God for everything that has happened to her … which is a good thing because, apparently, she has a lot to be thankful for. A failed album, a tanking career, an embarrassing flub at the Super Bowl and then her first arrest for public intoxication … for all these things, she gives thanks to God … apparently.

Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend Matt Rutler, who were both arrested on drinking charges last week, returned last night to the scene of their crimes. As we learned last Wednesday, Xtina and Matt spent much of their Tuesday night drinking bottles of wine at Osteria Mozza in the hours before they were arrested by the police (she for public intoxication, he for drunk driving) … last night, the couple decided to dine and/or drink at Osteria Mozza again.

Christina Aguilera was spotted in public last night for the first time since she was arrested in the wee hours of Tuesday morning in West Hollywood, CA on the charge of public intoxication. Xtina was making her way out of the Smashbox Studios where she reportedly filmed a new promo for NBC‘s new American Idol-like show The Voice. As we learned earlier this week, Xtina has joined The Voice as a coach/judge on the show. It would seem that Xtina is doing all she can to put her arrest behind her so she can move forward with this new project.

Early yesterday morning Christina Aguilera was arrested for public intoxication after her boyfriend was arrested for drunk driving. Earlier today we learned that the relatively unknown artists Esperanza Spalding (Best New Artist) and Arcade Fire (Album of the Year) took home two of the biggest awards at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards last night … but right now, we get to check out some photos from some of the other Grammy attendees and winners from last night’s show. The big winner of the night was Country act Lady Antebellum. They walked away with two of the most prestigious Grammy Awards of the year — Record of the Year and Song of the Year — and won 5 of their 6 nominations. BUT, there were other winners as well. On Sunday the world watched (well, only 111 million people, to be exact) as Christina Aguilera flubbed the lyrics to The Star-Spangled Banner as she performed out national anthem live in front of Super Bowl XLV and poor Xtina has been catching heck for it ever since. Today, TMZ brings us video from her Super Bowl rehearsal last Saturday that proves not only that Xtina knows the words to the song but that she is actually capable of giving an amazing performance of the song.

If you’re ever going to mess up the words to our national anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner, you prolly should do so at a minor event where you will minimize your embarrassment and hopefully escape media attention. Unfortunately for Christina Aguilera, that was not the case. In front of her largest audience ever, Xtina flubbed the lyrics to The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the largest television viewing audience of the year at Super Bowl XLV yesterday. When last we saw photos of Christina Aguilera, who was just picked to sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLV next month, out and about with her son Max Liron and her lover Matthew Rutler, the little family was celebrating Max‘s birthday at Disneyland.
