Chris Evans, who brought Captain America to life on the big screen last Summer and will reprise that role this Spring in The Avengers, was spied on a beach here in SoCal this week shooting a photospread for Details magazine. You will be very happy to know that Chris was spotted wearing only half of his clothes. Now, I know we’ve gotten used to seeing him all dolled up as the super soldier Captain America in the past year or so but in case you want to be reminded of what he’s been hiding under his superduds, check out the hawt photo below.

It’s that time of the year again … time for People magazine to crown this year’s Sexiest Man Alive. The folks at People have compiled a list of the sexiest men in Hollywood and have determined that one man is the sexiest of all … and that man is Bradley Cooper. Bradley is featured on the cover and in the pages of this week’s special issue of People but the mag is packed full of other sexy men … from Chris Evans to Joel McHale and everyone in between. Last week we got to see the EPIC first trailer for the upcoming superhero film The Avengers and this weekend, a few of the principle stars of the film made their way to the Big Apple to promote the film at 2011 New York Comic Con. A bunch of footage was shown exclusively to the audience and lead actors Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg and others were on hand to sign autographs with fans. When last we saw photos here on the blog from the set of the superhero film The Avengers, Captain America and Loki were battling head to head in Cleveland, OH. Today we get to see a whole slew of new photos from the relocated NYC, NY set of the film … where most of the principle cast has been filming for the past couple days. Director Joss Whedon and Avengers creator Stan Lee were joined on set by Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner. First we saw photos of Captain America (Chris Evans), the first Avenger, on the Cleveland, OH set of The Avengers and then we saw photos of the villainous Loki (Tom Hiddleston) on set as well. Earlier this week we got our first look at Chris Evans in full Captain America costume on the Cleveland, OH set of The Avengers. Today we learn that Chris Hemsworth in full costume as Thor has joined him on set. As you can see from the photos below, Captain America and Thor seem to be hard at work fighting bad guys together … check it out.

Yesterday we saw the first photos from the Cleveland, OH set of The Avengers and, as you may recall, we also got our first look at actor Chris Evans on set. Today we get to see Chris in costume as Captain America. Unlike the vintage costume we saw in the WWII era film Captain America: The First Avenger (which opened last month), next years Avengers film will feature the good Captain wearing a more modern version of the suit. Now that all of the drama surrounding his split from ex-fiancée Crystal Harris has finally died down, Hugh Hefner went about carrying on with the rest of his life by hosting his annual Midsummer’s Night Dream party at the Playboy Mansion this weekend. Flanked by his new girlfriends Anna Sophia Berglund and Shera Bechard, Hef hosted a bevy of beauties and celebrities all decked out in their sleeping attire. In his coverstory interview, he reveals that he initially did not want to play Captain America. In fact, he turned down the role a “bunch” of times.
