Here are a few pics from the red carpet arrivals at last night’s event:


It PAINS me to reveal that I was graciously invited to attend this event last night but due to my previous engagement in Anaheim, I was unable to attend. I’m so happy to see that most of the cast came out for the event … including Glenn Morshower who plays the amazing Secret Serviceman Aaron Pierce on the show. He is my fave non-main character on the show. It’s really cool that the entire season of the show will be released on DVD the day after the finale airs … I really hate waiting months to get the DVDs after the season ends. This season started out a bit slow, IMHO, but it really picked up about 4 eps in … it’s been a great ride and it all ends next week. I’m still trying to get over the fact that Tony Almeida was a bad guy gone good gone bad. He is such a great character … I’m sure there will be a showdown with Jack Bauer soon (next week??). 24 remains one of my fave shows and I’m bummed that it’s ending next week … but it is of great comfort that the show has been renewed for at least 2 more seasons to come.

You may recall that earlier this month, Kiefer and some of these same celebs made an appearance at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, CA at a photography exhibit to promote the TV movie and last night they did a bit more promo work in NYC … clearly, these folks want you to watch this movie when it debuts on FOX this Sunday November 23 at 8PM ;) Here are a few pics from the red carpet last night:


From the press release: The wait is finally over! The highly anticipated two-hour television event takes place in Africa (shot on location) where Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is working at a school in Africa. He is called upon to stop a ruthless warlord from drafting innocent children into his murderous militia. At home, it’s inauguration day for President-elect Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones) while malevolent mastermind Jonas Hodges (Jon Voight) fans the flames of the international crisis. Trust me, you do not want to miss this TV movie. I was very lucky to be able to preview 24: Redemption in full last month and, as a diehard 24 fan, I loved it. The movie is a bit of a depature from the usual 24 fare but it really does set up the next season very nicely. Having seen the TV movie already, I’m even more excited for the next season to get underway … I suspect that y’all will feel the same after you watch the prequel movie when it airs this coming Sunday night. Jack Bauer is back, bitches! Finally!!!
