Lookin' fine as heck
Channing Tatum Surfaces In NYC

Channing Tatum, who’s new film Fighting opens in theaters this Friday, was spotted on the streets of NYC earlier today making his way to The CW 11 studios to do some promo work for his new movie … and homeboy was lookin’ migh-ty good:

Fighting is another film where Channing plays a down-and-out, poor white boy who is forced to use his skills (in this instance his fighting skills, as opposed to previous movies where he had to use his dancing skills, etc.) to help him achieve a higher station in life. To be honest, it sounds like the same ol’ song and dance but I don’t really care. There is something about Channing Tatum that makes you want to root for him. He tends to play pretty single-faceted movie characters but his ability to charm is, well, charming. I am not gonna lie … I deffo plan to see Fighting when it opens in theaters. You cast the man in anything and I’m pretty much there. I mean, look at him. Can you blame me?

What's 'YRB'? Who cares?
Channing Tatum Does ‘YRB’ Magazine

When last we were able to feast our eyes on Channing Tatum, star of the upcoming film Fighting and the Summer blockbusters Public Enemies and G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, he was gracing the ingénue section of Vanity Fair magazine … today we learn that he is featured on the cover …

… and in the pages of …

YRB magazine. I must confess that I am no familiar with YRB mag but by the looks of its website, it appears to cover topics like music, film, fashion and travel. Very, very interesting. But I’m kinda all about the pics of Channing so … that’s about all I need to know. The photos are pretty and dramatic … let’s just say they’re pretty dramatic. While I’d prefer a little less clothing (and a little more skin) I can’t say that I have much to complain about. Channing is the hotness, so I’m gonna be a fan of any mag that features him. Here’s hoping there will be more magazine covers (with accompanying sexy photospreads) that feature Mr. Tatum in the weeks and months to come. With 3 movies on the horizon, we should have lots of Channing Tatum to look forward to.

Ladies and gentlemen, start your swooning
Channing Tatum Does ‘Vanity Fair’ Magazine

Channing Tatum, who stars in the upcoming film Fighting, is featured in the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine in a photoshoot pictorial for their ingénue section that is plainly and simply dreamy … behold:

Le sigh. In addition to this Spring’s Fighting, Tatum will also appear alongside Christian Bale, Johnny Depp and Marion Cotillard in the gangster flick Public Enemies (natch, Channing Tatum plays the infamous Pretty Boy Floyd) and, of course, will portray the live-action version of Sgt. Duke Hauser in the Summer blockbuster G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. Yes, there is a lot of Channing to look forward to in theaters this year. After the jump, check out a few more outtake photos of Channing from this Vanity Fair photospread — there is more dreaminess to be had …

Soon you'll be able to get your hands on Duke, Hawk, The Baroness and more!
Who Wants To Play ‘G.I. Joes’ With Channing Tatum?

New G.I. Joe action figures, based on the upcoming live action flick G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, will be unveiled at the New York Toy Fair happening next week but here are a few preview photos to share with all y’all that show what the dolls action figures based on Sgt. Duke Hauser (Channing Tatum), Cobra operative The Baroness (Sienna Miller) and G.I. Joe leader General Hawk (Dennis Quaid) will look like:

He may be engaged, but ladies looking to get their hands on Channing Tatum can now take the hard-bodied hunk home with them. Tatum is one of five G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra stars to have a Hasbro action figure modeled in his likeness, alongside Sienna Miller and Dennis Quaid. Joining a long list of celeb action figures before them, Tatum’s “Duke,” Miller’s “The Baroness” and Quaid’s “General Hawk” will be revealed at Toy Fair from February 15-18 in New York.

Er, of these three toys — only Channing Tatum‘s Duke looks nothing like him (well, there is some resemblance but really the toy just looks like a meat head … oh wait). The Baroness and General Hawk look very much like Sienna Miller and Dennis Quaid. It’s unclear, from just these photos, how big the action figures are. I’m from the ’80s generation when the action figures were small and I hope that these new toys are the same size. I was never a fan of the larger, ’60s version of G.I. Joes which were bigger than Barbie size. Tho, I can see the appeal for some folks to want their Channing Tatum dolls to be as big as possible … for whatever reason :) In any event, all this G.I. Joe talk is really taking me back to my youth. I used to *love* playing G.I. Joes. Sigh. Good times. I really hope this new movie doesn’t ruin my fond childhood memories. What do ya’ll think … would any of you like to play with a Channing Tatum doll?

Hunk-a, hunk-a burnin' lurve
Newly Engaged Channing Tatum Hits The Beach

Earlier this week it was reported that Channing Tatum got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Jenna Dewan while the pair were vacationing in Hawaii and today we have a few pics of the lad enjoying some downtime at the beach by his lonesome … you will note that he is blowing kisses to me … er, well, to the cameras, that is:

Boo … it’s a bummer that the lad had to go and get himself engaged … I mean, I’m sure he’s in love and all that mess but there’s something so … final … about getting married. This hunk ‘o man should be free from commitments and, you know, a wife ;) I keed, I keed … I actually really like him with Jenna. She is beautiful and they always look so happy together. After the jump, check out a few pics of the happy couple enjoying the Hawaiian beach together …

Sorry, y'all ... he's taken :(
Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan Are Gettin’ Hitched

Sad news for all y’all Channing Tatum fans who may be dreaming about the day that you might get to runway away with the lad to do unspeakably naughty things together … homeboy went and got himself engaged to his beautiful girlfriend (former Step Up co-star) Jenna Dewan over the weekend. They’re gettin’ hitched, y’all:

Channing Tatum showed off some smooth moves in Step Up, but nothing compares to the proposal he choreographed for his girlfriend Jenna Dewan. Over the weekend, Tatum asked her to marry him in Maui in front of close friends invited under the radar to surprise Dewan, a source confirms exclusively to PEOPLE. He presented a ring by Neil Lane. The Cullman, Ala., native first met Dewan, 27, on the set of their 2006 dance hit Step Up, but the pair has always remained coy about their dating life.

Aww … well, I suppose congrats are in order ;) I keed, I keed … I am very happy that Channing and Jenna have decided to make it official. They make a very cute couple and they always look so happy together. I was able to see the two of them gettin’ all cozy together at the premiere event for Stop-Loss earlier this year and they really do seem made for one another. He is insanely hot, she is incredibly beautiful … what more could you ask for? Even tho it pains me to think that Channing will soon be off the market, I wish the two of them a lifetime of happiness together! Congrats!!

Surf's up and handed out
The 2008 Teen Choice Awards

Last night the 2008 Teen Choice Awards infiltrated and took over the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal City in Hollywood, CA in order to honor the previous year’s stellar achievements in categories which include music, movies, sports and TV, as voted on by teens aged 13-19. As usual, all the hottest young stars came out for the event … here are a few of the folks who walked the red carpet last night:

The “It” Girls were in attendance as were the new kids on the block — members of the cast of 90210 made last night’s Teen Choice Awards their unofficial coming out party to hang with the cool kids. There are a whole slew of pics to check out from last night’s fête. After the jump, check out some pics from the show itself, some pics of the couplely couples who were in the audience, some of the winners with their surfboards and, of course, a lot of Beckhamness …

And a few posters, too!
The GI Joe Movie Gets A Title

Thanks to the industrious folks at the Dutch site Film Blog, who brought along their trusty cameras to the Cinema EXPO in Amsterdam this week, we now know that the new live-action GI Joe movie (which is set for release next year) will be titled GI Joe: Rise of Cobra. This title is prominently featured on a few new posters for the movie which were snapped at the Cinema EXPO event. Here is the poster which features Sargent Duke Hauser, played by Channing Tatum:

Woot! This poster looks great! It’s the perfect look for the live-action version of GI Joe. I’ve mentioned before my fears that a live-action movie version of the GI Joe cartoon might be disappointing but everything that I’ve seen thus far has waylaid those fears. I love the casting, I love the costuming and I love the title of the movie. After the jump, check out two more posters which feature Sienna Miller as The Baroness and Ray Park as Snake Eyes
