Carrie Prejean, the little hypocritical beauty queen wannabe that just won’t quit, decided to make an appearance on the Larry King Live show in order to promote her new book and ended up “walking out” of the interview when she was asked a question she didn’t want to answer. As you may well be aware, Prejean ended up settling her $1 million lawsuit with the Miss USA California Pageant recently after it was discovered that she appeared in an explicit sex tape and decided to cut her losses while she still could so that the sex tape would not be released and mar her Christian image. King asked Prejean about the circumstances surrounding her lawsuit settlement and Prejean accused him of being “inappropriate” and then, on the advice of one of her handlers off-screen, decided to end the interview … on live TV:

Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean apparently does not want to discuss why she and pageant officials decided to settle a pair of lawsuits. Prejean threatened to walk off the set during an interview with CNN’s Larry King Tuesday after King asked what motivated her drop her claim. After Prejean told him the settlement was “confidential” King responded, “You can’t even say why you settled?” Prejean called the talk show host, “inappropriate” and took off her microphone in the middle of the interview. She also mouthed to someone off set that she was going to leave the show. Prejean, a 22-year-old San Diego native, sued the pageant’s co-executive directors, Keith Lewis and former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, as well as pageant publicist Roger Neal, on allegations of libel, slander and religious discrimination in Los Angeles Superior Court in August. K2 Productions countersued in October, asking to be reimbursed $5,200 for the beauty queen’s breast implants. No details on the terms of the settlement have been released, however, it’s rumored a solo sex tape starring Prejean helped move things along. Prejean has said in TV appearances that she made the video for a boyfriend when she was 17 and now regrets making it. “It’s embarrassing even talking about this right now,” she said. “I’ve been on national TV discussing the worst mistake of my life. I mean, how many people are comfortable doing that?” Prejean is currently promoting her new book titled “Still Standing,” in which she writes negatively about pornography. Prejean claimed she was stripped of her title in June because she said she opposed gay marriage during the Miss USA pageant. Pageant officials said she was fired for not fulfilling her obligations as Miss California USA and had missed several scheduled appearances.

Well, to be honest, I can understand why this woman who is now trying to ride the wave of Conservative Christian celebrity would not want to talk about her solo sex tape (or, for that matter, those topless photos of hers) but when you go on a TV talk show to be interviewed, you have to expect that there will be questions asked of you. I do not believe that Larry King was inappropriate by any stretch of the imagination … in fact, Larry King is the one TV interviewer that asks THE MOST benign (ie. boring) questions of his interviewees. LOL!!!! So, just when you may have thought you’ve heard the last of Carrie Prejean, the former beauty queen contestant who was stripped of her crown for her inability to fulfill the requirements necessary to reign as Miss California USA, we have a new story to bring her back onto our radar. As much as Prejean and all that she stands for kinda sickens me, this story is too funny NOT to share ;) It turns out that pageant officials who fronted the money for Prejean to get silicone breast implants for her to put on display in competition now want her to pay back that money since she broke her contract with them. If Prejean loses, she’ll have to pay back the money … or mebbe give back her plastic boobs?

Officials from the Miss California pageant are sending a message to Carrie Prejean — three can play that game! The production company that runs the pageant is filing a cross complaint against Prejean, demanding, among other things, that Carrie return the $5,200 the pageant fronted her for her breast augmentation. In other legal docs, Keith Lewis and crew are asking to strike a portion of Prejean’s lawsuit — the portion dealing with public disclosure of private facts. The new docs say, “the alleged ‘private facts’ consist of her breast augmentation (which ceased being private during the swimsuit competition of the nationally-televised Miss USA pageant, in which Ms. Prejean walked the stage in a bikini).” The cross complaint says, “Had [Carrie] heeded the guidance of the Gospel of John, who admonished only those who are without sin to cast stones in judgment, she might have avoided this legal battle …” As for the cross complaint, Lewis and the production company claim Prejean is a hypocrite, championing family values after posing for a variety of “semi-nude photos…[which] surfaced via TMZ.com.”

It turns out that all this suing back and forth between Prejean and pageant officials is really just a matter of very public back and forth feuding. I, too, find Prejean hypocritical and do believe that if she is going to break her contract with the pageant then she doesn’t deserve to get free fake boobs for doing so. Since being stripped of her Miss California USA crown, Prejean has made many new friends in the evangelical Christian movement … perhaps they can take up a collection to help her pay back the boob job money that she owes?

Just about a month ago Donald Trump called a huge press conference to announce to the world that Carrie Prejean would be allowed to keep her Miss California USA crown in light of the topless photos scandal that plagued the beauty queen in recent weeks. But that was then … this is now and the Donald has had a change of heart. Citing Prejean‘s inability to fulfill the requirements necessary to reign as Miss California USA, Trump has decided to strip away the crown … Carrie Prejean is fired and Tami Farrell will be elevated as the new Miss California USA:

We’ve learned “biblically correct” Carrie Prejean will lose her Miss California USA crown today because she doesn’t play well with others. Sources connected with the pageant tell us even Donald Trump has now had it with Carrie, because she’s violating her contract by not getting clearance to do her extracurricular stuff. We’re also told Carrie has been a no-show for appearances she was supposed to make for the pageant organization. The firing, we’re told, is strictly based on Carrie breaching her contract. It’s not based on her political and moral views. Carrie is getting her walking papers this afternoon. The new Miss California USA will be Miss Malibu Tami Farrell … Donald Trump just told TMZ he gave the green light to fire “biblically correct” Carrie Prejean’s award-winning butt because she just wouldn’t do the job and treated people badly. Trump told us Carrie refused to appear at around 30 events on behalf of Miss California USA. He says Prejean was contractually bound to appear and she just wouldn’t do it. He doesn’t think her attitude has anything to do with her politics. Trump said: “To me she was the sweetest thing. Everyone else — she treated like shit.”

Thank Jebus … now mebbe this whole matter can go away once and for all. Carrie Prejean‘s holier than thou attitude never really jibbed with her beauty queen persona so I couldn’t understand why she’d want to engage in a beauty contest in the first place. It seemed to me that once she gained notoriety from her remarks in the pageant and became something of an evangelical superstar, she no longer really had any interest in representing the Miss California USA organization. From the sound of her behavior in the past month, it appears that Donald Trump has had enough. I, too, have had enough. Now Prejean is free to pose as topless as she wants to, whenever she wants to. Praise the Lord!

It would seem that Donald Trump is a fan of semi-nude, topless photos taken by his beauty queens because he has just announced in a live press conference that Carrie Prejean WILL keep her Miss California USA crown since, in his judgment, we live in “the 21st century” and, apparently, topless pics of beauty queens are “lovely” and “fine”:

Donald Trump will let Miss California USA Carrie Prejean keep her title despite controversy over semi-nude photos and charges by state pageant officials that she had abandoned her duties to devote time to opposition to same-sex marriage. “We’re in the 21st century,” Trump said, explaining Prejean is a model.

And there you have it. I suspect, barring the release of any new photos, this may be the last we’ll be hearing about Prejean possibly losing her crown. Now she can go back to the biz of taking care of her Miss California USA duties which, supposedly, center on advocating the needs of people with Special Needs. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if that will actually be the case.

Embattled and currently reigning (for now) Miss California USA Carrie Prejean will find out today from Donald Trump (the owner of the Miss USA organization which governs her title) whether or not she will be able to keep her crown in the wake of her topless photos scandal. Thus far, it’s not turning out to be a great day for Prejean. She has previously acknowledged taking topless photos when she was “young” and “naive” but has insisted that she did nothing to invalidate the contract she signed when competing to become Miss California USA (which requires full disclosure of any questionable photos taken of the contestants before they compete in the pageant). TMZ has uncovered a new batch of photos that show Carrie Prejean posing in, I would say, questionable poses … with her nips showing in many of the photos:

Carrie Prejean must have a really, really bad memory — because TMZ uncovered a brand new set of topless photos “biblically correct” Miss California took before she applied for the crown. These pics were taken just last year — meaning Carrie was the ripe ol’ LEGAL age of 20. This time, Carrie dropped her top for a professional photo shoot … another partially nude gig that she forgot to tell the Miss California officials about. Donald Trump will decide today whether or not he’ll give Carrie the heave ho.

HMMM … yes, these photos are much racier than the first topless photo we saw. It’s interesting that as Prejean was commenting on the moral high ground she failed to mention this new batch of topless photos, even in the wake of the emergence of the first topless photo. See, again, my problem with all of this is that moral superiority ends up focusing the light of scrutiny so squarely on one’s holier-than-thou shoulders (and bared breasts, apparently) that one must be very careful when hurtling morality at other people. So … did the Devil make her pose for these photos? If not, what (according to her) has been his involvement in her life recently? The reigning Miss California USA, Carrie Prejean, who recently lost the crown in the Miss USA pageant and then joined the National Organization for Marriage in order to rally against same-sex marriage (after she publicly voiced her opposition to marriage equality when queried on the matter during the Miss USA paegent) has found a new controversial topic to talk about this week. A new photo of the topless Prejean has made its way to the Internets (TheDirty.com found the dirty on Miss Cali USA) which, some say, calls into question her ability to act as a role model in her capacity as Miss California USA. As you may recall, Vanessa Williams (the first African-American Miss America) was stripped of the Miss America crown back in 1983 when nude photos of her were published in Penthouse magazine. Could Carrie Prejean, who in a new statement confirms that she did pose topless as a “model”, lose her crown as Miss Califnornia USA as a result? “On April 19, I chose to answer a question during the 2009 Miss USA pageant in an honest and personal manner that expressed my views of the long-established definition of marriage as being between a man and a woman. That answer, and my commitment to stand by my beliefs, has since resulted in attacks on me and my integrity as a woman. We live in a great country; a nation that was built on freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Yet my comments defending traditional marriage have led to intimidation tactics that seek to undermine my reputation and somehow silence me and my beliefs, as if opinion is only a one-way street.

“I am a Christian, and I am a model. Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos. Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be. But these attacks on me and others who speak in defense of traditional marriage are intolerant and offensive. While we may not agree on every issue, we should show respect for others’ opinions and not try to silence them through vicious and mean-spirited attacks.

“With that in mind, I will continue to support and defend marriage as the honorable institution it is. I will continue to stand with the overwhelming majority of the American people and the voters of my home state of California. See … when people take the moral high ground they need to be very careful. If you live in a glass house and you start throwing around stones, people are gonna throw back. Calling Prejean names is childish and wrong but questioning her holier than thou attitude in the face of her decision to pose in this manner seems very valid to me. Does being a model preclude someone from being religious? Absolutely not. There are many religions that have no restrictions about working in this field. But the most staunch conservative Christians might have a problem with it and I think that is where the concern for Prejean lies.
