The Cast Of ‘24’ Convenes For A Lavish Series Wrap Party

24 castmembers, both current and old skool, made their way to Boulevard 3 here in LA last night to attend a series wrap party held in honor of the Fox TV series. As you may recall, the final episode of the series was filmed in NYC at the start of this month but they saved the party for last night. Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub were joined by 24 alums like Dennis Haybert, Kim Raver and Sarah Clarke at last night’s fete. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals last night:

I LOVE that so many 24 alums came back for one last hurrah last night. 24 has given us years of entertainment and I love that so many of the people responsible for all that entertainment got together one last time to celebrate. It’s kinda crazy to think that the show is over … but I am very much looking forward to 24 finding new life on the big screen. Don’t these people all look amazing? It’s really very cool to see them all together again.

The Cast Of ‘24’ Previews The Season 7 Finale, Launches The DVD

Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Carlos Bernard and more were on hand at the Wadsworth Theater here in LA last night for a preview screening of the season finale of 24 (which airs on FOX next Monday night) and a launch event for the DVD release of Season 7 (which hits stores next Tuesday). Here are a few pics from the red carpet arrivals at last night’s event:

It PAINS me to reveal that I was graciously invited to attend this event last night but due to my previous engagement in Anaheim, I was unable to attend. I’m so happy to see that most of the cast came out for the event … including Glenn Morshower who plays the amazing Secret Serviceman Aaron Pierce on the show. He is my fave non-main character on the show. It’s really cool that the entire season of the show will be released on DVD the day after the finale airs … I really hate waiting months to get the DVDs after the season ends. This season started out a bit slow, IMHO, but it really picked up about 4 eps in … it’s been a great ride and it all ends next week. I’m still trying to get over the fact that Tony Almeida was a bad guy gone good gone bad. He is such a great character … I’m sure there will be a showdown with Jack Bauer soon (next week??). 24 remains one of my fave shows and I’m bummed that it’s ending next week … but it is of great comfort that the show has been renewed for at least 2 more seasons to come.

Kiefer Sutherland Gets A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Kiefer Sutherland, star of Film and TV, was honored with his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a ceremony that was held on Hollywood Blvd. right next to the famed Roosevelt Hotel. Here are a few pics of Kiefer along with family and friends at today’s award ceremony for the 2, 377th star on the Walk of Fame:

Emmy Award-winning actor Kiefer Sutherland received the 2,377th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday, just more than a month before the season premiere of “24,” the Fox Broadcasting series that made him a worldwide star. His father, actor Donald Sutherland, and Joel Schumacher, who directed Kiefer Sutherland in four films, joined him in speaking at the late-morning ceremony next to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Sutherland was born Dec. 21, 1966, in London while his parents, both actors, were working there. The Sutherlands soon moved to California, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1972. In 1975, Sutherland moved with his mother, Shirley Douglas, to Toronto, where he spent the rest of his youth. Sutherland made his acting debut in the 1983 film, “Max Dugan Returns,” alongside his father. The two also appeared together in the 1996 film “A Time to Kill.” He appeared with his mother in “Woman Wanted” in 2000. His first major motion picture was the 1984 Canadian drama, “The Bay Boy,” which earned him a nomination for a Genie Award, the Canadian version of the Academy Award. Sutherland’s other movie credits include “Stand By Me,” “The Lost Boys,” “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me,” “A Few Good Men,” “Flatliners,” “Young Guns,” and “The Three Musketeers.”

While Kiefer was pretty amazing in Stand By Me, The Lost Boys, A Few Good Men and Flatliners (to name but a few of my fave Kief movies), I love him most for his portrayal of Jack Bauer on the hit FOX series 24. It’s amazing … you never think about how many films a person has appeared in until you see them listed before you … Kiefer has been working his ass off and I am thrilled that he is finally being honored for his accomplishments. I love that his castmates from 24 (most especially Mary Lynn Rajskub) came out for the ceremony but I think I like the pic of Kiefer with his father Donald the most. Much love and congrats, Kiefer! You have deffo earned this honor.
