Altho we’ve already seen quite a few photos of Britney Spears in the new Fall/Winter 09/10 ad campaign for the Candie’s fashion house (for sale exclusively at Kohl’s), it turns out that one more outtake photo from the campaign has come to light. Wearing a leopard print jacket that looks like it was salvaged from an old, tacky couch from 1972, Britney Spears mugs for the cameras in this newly discovered photo:

OY! Leopard print rarely looks good on anyone and, well … I think I much preferred the photos we saw before. I’m not sure if this monstrous jacket will be made available for sale at your friendly neighborhood Kohl’s department store but, if so, I’m sure it’ll make a nice Xmas gift for your great aunt Mertyle.

So … we’ve already seen quite a few promo photos of Britney Spears in the latest ad campaign for clothier Candie’s and we’ve already seen the music video for Britney’s latest single Radar … so today, we get to see a compilation of those two things. Candie’s has released a new commercial which features their new spokesmodel Britney and was filmed while Brit was making her music video for Radar:

Earlier this week we got our first look at the new batch of very vibrant, very pink Candie’s promo photos featuring their new spokesmodel Britney Spears. Just when you thought that magenta hay barrels and snow white horses was enough to make your sweet tooth rot, we get to check out a few more promo pics from the set. Oh man … I love Britney and she deffo takes the blue ribbon but for being a cheese ball rather than being Best Dressed ;) Seriously, this new Candie’s ad campaign is so over-the-top … it’s like Lisa Frank puked all over the place and then Candie’s thru in Britney, a horse and other accoutrements. Early last month we learned that Britney Spears has been tapped to be the Candie’s spokesmodel for 2009 and a few weeks later got our first look at her first Candie’s newspaper print ad. Today we get to check out her new full-color campaign promo ads along with a short video that features our dear Britney posing for pics for the ad campaign. Here is the one sheet promo ad that has just been released:

The singer flaunts her dancer’s physique in a variety of skin-baring outfits and the brand’s signature heels against a bright pink background. In a statement, Britney gushes about the campaign, “I had so much fun shooting the Candie’s for Kohl’s campaign. I got to wear the cutest clothes and they are perfect for summer!”

I think she looks amazing … and the pink, well, it’s not too bad either. While I’m thrilled that Britney is featured in this high profile ad campaign, I’m hoping that she will continue to score endorsement gigs like this in the future. I would LOVE to see her in a new Pepsi commercial … I’m just sayin’. Earlier this month we learned that Britney Spears had been chosen as the 2009 Candie’s spokesperson and that she would be appearing in the clothing line’s ad campaign in the coming year. Over the weekend, Britney’s first Candie’s ad appeared in newspapers around the country alerting us to the fact that Kohl’s department store — which is the exclusive home of Candie’s apparel — is having a MEGA 3-DAY EASTER SALE. Here is what Britney’s newest Candie’s ad looks like:

While it’s great to see Britney back in the position of appearing in major advertisement campaigns, I think I was expecting a bit more from her first ad. Candie’s tends to put out really colorful, really vibrant ad campaigns … and this one is just … flat. I think mebbe the ad doesn’t really work for me because it was printed on newspaper but even the photo isn’t all that impressive. I hope that future Candie’s ads that feature Britney have a little more oomph to them.

Today’s the day, y’all!! Britney Spears makes her long-awaited, much anticipated return to the concert stage as her new concert tour The Circus starring Britney Spears officially kicks off its first performance in New Orleans, LA TONIGHT! Britney’s tour bus rolled into town over the weekend and the final preparations were taken care of yesterday ahead of a huge dress rehearsal which took place last night. Britney’s friends and family are excited for her new tour but I suspect not quite as excited as her legion of rabid fans (me, included). Here are a few photos of some of the tour prop promo items that have been unpacked in NoLa ready for our dear Britney’s return to the concert stage:

On Tuesday, Britney Spears will kick off her anticipated Circus tour in New Orleans surrounded by fans – and touched by the support of her family. “I am so excited for her, and I wish I could be there,” Spears’s aunt, Linda Ann Brandon-Kjos, tells PEOPLE. “All the family is there and supporting her. I’m sure that she is going to be just fine. I think it is going to be something really special.” After spending the weekend with family in Kentwood, Spears, 27, has arrived in New Orleans in advance of her show at the New Orleans Arena. The singer’s set-list, which was revealed Monday, shows that she’ll perform a mix of old and new hits. Spears, who is the new face of Candie’s, also released a short video preview of the concert on her Web site, with a longer version on the Candie’s site. Sources close to the pop star have said that she has been working hard preparing for the show, which will include a three-ring circus set-up and magic tricks. While expectations are high, some in Spears’s inner-circle have expressed some hesitation – even nerves – about her return to the stage. “[Her family] is worried that this might be too much pressure for her,” says a family friend. “Is it too soon? It wasn’t that long ago that she was falling apart and now the pressure is on and it’s a lot.” Adds the family friend: “It’s hard because she is such a pleaser and has always worked hard. When she was younger, she was a perfectionist and went over and over things in her routines to get them just exactly right. She says she is ready, but who is she doing this for?” One possibility: Her fans. And they are excited about the shows. “A lot of people got tickets really early,” Travis Bergeron, 24, a New Orleans resident, and Spears fan, tells PEOPLE. “I’ve got seats on the eighth row right above floor level. One of my friends knew I was obsessed and got me tickets as a Christmas gift. I’m a huge, huge, huge Britney fan.”

Personally, as a huge Britney fan myself, I don’t feel that she needs to prove anything to us or to anyone else. That being said, I am really thrilled that she feels confident and ready enough to hit the road again. While I am glad that she is hittin’ the concert trail again, I truly hope she is really taking on this huge endeavor for herself. Whatever the reason, I cannot wait to see the show for myself!!!
