The legendary Cher and her young co-star Christina Aguilera were among the folks who came out to Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA last night for the LA premiere of their new film Burlesque. Earlier today we learned that Xtina was on hand to receive her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday afternoon but after a quick outfit change she was back on Hollywood Blvd. for her big premiere. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals at last night’s premiere of Burlesque:

For the most part, the reviews that I’ve been hearing about Burlesque have been mostly positive … still, I’m not sure I’m convinced. None of the trailers that I have seen of the film have impressed me at all and I have to wonder how this girl from a small town moves to the big city and hits it big story will stand apart from the countless other movies that tell the same story. Still, I have faith in Cher‘s amazing abilities as an actress so … I might give the movie a shot. Burlesque opens on November 24 … do you think YOU will be there to see it on opening day?

Last week we got our first look at Cher on the SoCal set of her new film Burlesque lookin’ about as fabulous as ever and today we get to see a few more photos from the set of the film. Christina Aquilera co-stars with Cher in Burlesque, as does Cam Gigandet … and were snapped filming scenes for the film yesterday afternoon:

Her hair swept back with a headscarf, Christina Aguilera looked the epitome of laid-back glamour as she took a motorbike ride on the set of her new film yesterday. The 29-year-old was filming scenes for Burlesque, in which she stars as a small-town singer who makes it big. With her sunglasses, pink leather jacket, jeans and high heeled boots, she looked every inch the star. The singer clung to handsome co-star Cam Gigandet as they rode down Sunset Boulevard. After an outfit change, Christina was busy filming a crowd scene in white platforms and capri pants. She wore her blonde hair tousled and loose, as she marched down the street. There was no sign of her Academy Award-winning co-star, Cher. The musical film, which tells the story of a burlesque club called The Burlesque Lounge, sees Christina’s character Ali unveil her amazing voice in the venue, owned by Cher’s character, former dancer Tess. Burlesque will be Christina’s first foray into film. But the Grammy-award winning singer, who has had cameo appearances in TV shows such as Beverly Hills, 90120, has never made a secret of her desire to move into acting.

She looks good … they both do. I’m diggin’ the whole vibe of their biker look in these photos. I’m not sure if this is the type of movie that I would rush out to see, necessarily, but I might be up for a new Cher movie. We’ll have to see how this flick turns out … but, it looks good so far.

Actor Cam Gigandet (Twilight, Never Back Down) took his wife Dominique Geisendorff and daughter Everleigh Rae for a nice afternoon brunch at Toast here in LA this weekend and raised the bar a huge notch when it comes to adorable dads and their equally adorable kids. Cam and Everleigh were a sight to behold as he carried around his little doll in a baby pouch carrier … like so:

OMG … couldn’t you just die? This has to be the cutest thing ever. It’s clear that Everleigh is going to grow up to be daddy’s little girl … they make quite a pair, don’t they? It’s photos like these that just make your ovaries moan with ecstasy … so.damn.cute! It goes without saying that daddy Gigandet is a bona fide DILF … but the sweetness in these photos just makes you want to swoooon as well. I mean, honestly … have you ever seen anything as cute as this EVER in your life?

Here are a few supercute pics of former Twilight star Cam Gigandet with his beautiful baby daughter Everleigh Rae (who was born last April) enjoying a lovely afternoon of shopping on Robertson Blvd. at Kitson Kids yesterday. His babymama Dominique Geisendorff was also along for the shopping trip but she is not pictured here … I mean, the pics of just Cam and Everleigh are just too damn cute … behold:

It’s a shame that Cam‘s Twilight character James had to be killed off in the first movie because he’s one of those pretty boy actors that you like to see pop up in movies from time to time. He was great in Never Back Down and not so great in The Unborn … but was a happy sight to see in both films :) His baby girl is so precious … it’s nice to see Daddy and Daughter hanging out together. He looks like a sweet dad. Hopefully he’ll get new work very soon so he can continue to take his little princess out for shopping excursions.

Twilight is almost upon us, y’all … we are mere 3 days away from the movie’s official opening (well, 2 days away if you figure in the first midnight showings on Thursday) and anticipation for the film is reaching a fevered pitch. The movie had its official Hollywood premiere at Mann Village and Bruin Theaters in Westwood, CA last night where the principal stars were joined by their celebrity cohorts on the red carpet … oh yeah, and about 600+ “fanpires” who came out to shriek and scream for the arriving cast members, getting louder and louder until Robert Pattinson‘s arrival caused the excitement to go supersonic (poor R. Pattz even went “completely deaf”). Here are a few pics from last night’s premiere arrivals and some info about the night’s festivities:

Hundreds of shrieking fans — mostly teenage girls — lined the streets outside the Mann Village and Bruin Theatres on Monday for a chance to peek at the stars attending the Los Angeles premiere of “Twilight.” Some enthusiasts of the popular vampire literary series-turned-movie camped out overnight, while many arrived at dawn to secure a place in line. “I’m on basic motor functions right now,” actor Robert Pattinson, who plays sexy vamp Edward, said amid fans’ screams. More than 600 people were allowed inside special holding areas along both sides of the premiere’s red carpet. The self-proclaimed fanpires gawked, squealed and begged for autographs and photos with the stars. Others spilled out beyond the barricades and across the street from the premiere. Many held up handmade signs. Most just wanted face time. What question did they ask the most? “‘What’s it like kissing vampires?’” said actress Kristen Stewart, who plays human teenager Bella. Marie Sheranian, 16, and Brianna Matheson, 17, came from Simi Valley, Calif., to catch a glimpse of Pattinson, the 22-year-old actor who became a heartthrob after winning the role of Edward. The two “Twilight” fans created T-shirts professing their devotion for Pattinson and brought crates to stand on in hopes of seeing the actor’s face — or even the top of his hair — from above the crowd. “My heart is gonna explode,” Sheranian said from atop a crate. Not everyone in the horde was a howling teenage girl. Several teenage boys were sprinkled throughout the crowd. And there were even a few parents — including the founders of TwilightMoms.com, who left their children and husbands at home to attend the premiere. Pia Castillo said she came all the way from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, to see the film’s bloodsuckers in person. “It’s shocking something I came up with could inspire all this,” said “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer. The red carpet was buzzing about possible sequels. Meyer has written three other “Twilight” novels. Pattinson said he signed on for the film thinking it would be part of a trilogy, and he knows a script for a second film has been written. Stewart said she originally heard the cast might reunite to film both the second and third sequels at the same time, but now they might be filmed separately. “It has to make a certain amount of money, like $150 million, to be able to afford the sequel,” director Catherine Hardwicke said. “So we really don’t know yet.”

LOL. I’d be surprised if Twilight didn’t make $150 million in it’s opening weekend, considering all this insane hype. But, more realistically, it prolly won’t make that much money in one weekend but I think it’s a bit silly to say that they’re not sure about future sequels … this movie will make more than enough to justify the sequels to come. I have to say, I’m so impressed that all of this crazed excitement has been generated by a book … once again, my spirit is heartened by the fact that all of this rabid fandom comes not from video games or pop star worship — all of this excitement comes from reading books. The naysayers have much to say about all this “silliness” over vampires but I am most taken by the fact that books have inspired this insanity. Kids are reading! I really do hope that Twilight exceeds all expectations. The more success that movies like this have, the more credence will be paid to the actual written word. It won’t be long now.

Cam Giganet, who stars as hottie badvamp James in the new Twilight movie, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Men’s Health magazine. Men’s Health, as some of you are well aware, tends to put only the hottest, most fit celebs on their covers (like David Beckham, thank you very much) and this month is no exception … behold:

Cam talks to the magazine about how he handles fear when it comes to working in showbiz saying, “You’re selling a product that happens to be yourself. That brings out so many insecurities. There’s so much fear of failure because it’s so rampant, it’s everywhere. It was paralyzing to the point where I couldn’t get work or enjoy anything. To get where I am, I had to learn to live with fear. It’s all fear. You have to let go of that and keep moving forward.” He also talks about his stint working on The O.C. and being happy & contented in the moment, “Well, you can always do what the O.C. kids did and hate your work. When I was on that show, they all just wanted to go on and do bigger things. I imagine that’s hard. You can be as frustrated as you want, but you still have to show up for work. People don’t want to hear about it if you’re frustrated with your big career break. You still have to have a sense of gratitude and professionalism no matter what you do. I’ve been mad at everyone and everything at times. Last Friday we got our first look at the new Twilight photos that are published in this month’s issue of Vanity Fair magazine … and today we get to check out a whole slew of outtake photos that didn’t make the magazine cut but have been published online at Vanity Fair‘s official website. Most of the photos feature just Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) but I threw in a photo of R. Pattz, Kristen and vamp villain Cam Gigandet (James) for hawtness sake:

Feast, indeed. I much prefer seeing the Twilight stars primped and glammed up for their photoshoots rather than disheveled and messy. At last, I can see chemistry between these two actors … there’s hope yet.
