Day 3
Les Beckhams Continue Their Onslaught Of NYC

Les Beckhams — hubby/daddy David & wifey/mother Victoria and sons Brooklyn, Romeo & Cruz — continued to enjoy all the things that NYC has to offer this week as the family ventured out into the city on Day 3 of their Thanksgiving Vacay to the Big Apple. Yesterday, the family did a bit of shopping together (making a special trip to a candy shop) before making their way last night to do a bit of bowling together. Vicki B. managed to spend part of her day with her family but had to leave them midway thru the day to do some investigating (which is why she was wearing her shockingly white private investigator’s ensemble):

Yeah, I don’t really get VB‘s getup but the woman does take bold fashion risks with the way she dresses. It’s unclear just how much longer the family is planning to stay in the city (it is also unclear what attractions are left for them to visit) but I must admit that I do like the idea of the Beckham Bunch just aimlessly wandering the streets of New York City. Incidentally, TomKat was along with the Beckhams for many of yesterday’s activities but I’m kinda done looking at them. I don’t think anyone out there will mind that they’ve been omitted, right? ;)

Central Park, A Carriage Ride, A Circus -- Oh My!
The Beckham-TomKat Bunch Continue To Do NYC

Yesterday we saw pics of Les Beckhams (David and Victoria along with their children Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz) out and about with TomKat (Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and their possibly real daughter Suri Holmes-Cruise) at various places around NYC. Today, we get to see more pics of the family friends (including Tom‘s adopted children Isabella and Connor with former wife Nicole Kidman) enjoying other parts of the Big Apple in full display of any camera within a 10 mile radius. First up, the families made their way en masse to Central Park:

But soon after they arrived, the ladies in the group decided that they were tired of walking and decided to hop aboard a horse-drawn carriage for a little ride:

Clearly, Vicki B. and her middle child Romeo were not impressed. Incidentally, I do realize that Romeo Beckham isn’t really one of the “ladies” but, lets be honest here, the little lad is the closest thing that VB has to a daughter so there you have it.

After the carriage ride bored them to tears, the families made their way to the Big Apple Circus for a little family fun …

… complete with photo op afterward. Lord … I realize that these people are insanely famous and that they are apt to drawn a massive crowd of onlookers wherever they go but I would’ve expected the families to spend at least part of their day out of the public eye perhaps enjoying one another’s company. In any event, it appears that the Beckham-TomKat Bunch were doing their best to get the most out of this Thanksgiving holiday. While they all look entirely miserable, I do hope that they were able to enjoy their time together and be thankful for the wealth and privilege they are all able to enjoy.

One big happy family
The Beckham-TomKat Bunch Take Manhattan By Storm

Thanksgiving is a time to be with family but it is also a time to be with friends as well … here are a bunch of pics of very famous friends Les Beckhams (David, Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz) and TomKat (Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri Holmes-Cruise) hanging out together ALL OVER NYC yesterday after the Beckham clan flew cross country to spend Thanksgiving in the Big Apple. From hanging out at the TomKat NYC home to catching a performance of Katie‘s play All My Sons on Broadway to a big ol’ family dinner at Il Cantinori, the Beckham-TomKat Bunch really took over NYC yesterday:

The Cruises were among the first to welcome the Beckham clan to America, but for more than five months the two families have not been photographed together. But any rift between Hollywood’s biggest celebrity families appears to be healed as the couples celebrated Thanksgiving eve. David and Victoria Beckham and their three sons were pictured with Tom Cruise and his older children Connor and Isabella. Tom’s wife Katie Holmes and their two-year-old daughter Suri were absent from the gathering. But after meeting Tom in downtown New York the Beckhams left their sons with a babysitter while they went to watch Katie in her hit Broadway play All My Sons … Later, the whole clan – Katie included – headed off for dinner at Il Cantinori. Thanksgiving is one of the biggest holidays in the American calendar, traditionally marked by a family celebration, so to be spending it together perhaps marks a resurgence of the close friendship the Beckhams once enjoyed with the Cruises. After initially being pictured constantly together – be it shopping, eating out or publicly supporting each other’s work – the relationship between the two families apparently soured. This was rumoured to be because the Beckhams had refused to consider joining the Scientology religion – a subject close to Tom’s heart. There were also reports Katie and Victoria were caught up in a feud over a Vogue front cover. The fashionable friends apparently fell out after the former Dawson’s Creek actress became jealous after Posh was asked to appear on the front cover of the top magazine.

To be honest, I never really bought the whole idea that the Beckhams and Cruise-Holmeses were feuding. These people are hella bizzy all the time and I suspect it’s very difficult for them to all coordinate their schedules in order to hang out together. As much as I like to give them grief sometimes, I really do love seeing these two families when they are hanging out together. I suspect it’s difficult for the rich and powerful to make “normal” friends so it makes sense that they were gravitate towards other rich and powerful folks. I can’t even imagine what sorts of mindless banter they have to talk about across the dinner table … what do YOU suppose these ridiculously wealthy/famous people will talk about and give thanks for at the Thanksgiving dinner table today?

As well as the LA Laker Girls?
The Beckham Boys Cheer On The LA Lakers

David Beckham and his sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz made their way out to the Staples Center in downtown LA this weekend to take in a LA Lakers basketball game. Here are a few really cute pics of Becks and his boys sitting courtside at the game … it looks like little Cruz (who is prolly Vicki B‘s fave kid, for obvs reasons) had to call out his papa for spending too much time checkin’ out the cheerleaders (which we know, Becks is wont to do at Lakers home games):

OOOH, you just know that cute little snitch is gonna tell on Becks‘s ass. But seriously, how adorable are these pics of David Beckham and his sons. They each seem to have an aspect of Becks‘s personality — Brooklyn has his fashion sense, Romeo has his affinity for hair coiffing and Cruz is just cute like him. I love it when the Beckham men hang out together.

Also, remains caffeinated and sexy
David Beckham Bonds With Son Brooklyn

David Beckham and his eldest son Brooklyn Beckham did a bit of father/son bonding at the Staples Center this weekend as the pair were seen maxin’ and relaxin’ at yesterday’s LA Lakers home game together. Since we now know that Becks will be relocating to Milan, Italy for the first two months of 2009 to play professional soccer with AC Milan and, presumably, his children will remain here in SoCal with their mother to attend school — it looks like Becks wants to get in as much quality time with his kids while he still can. Here are a few really cute pics of Becks and Brooklyn snuggling at the game yesterday:

David Beckham enjoyed a bonding session with his son Brooklyn at an Lakers game in Los Angeles yesterday. The football star wrapped his arm tenderly around his eldest child, who looked delighted at having his father’s attention all to himself. It appears the nine-year-old, who is a keen footballer player, has has also inherited David’s famous penchant for grooming – his hair was carefully styled into a faux-hawk. The pair cheered on as their team defeated the Houston Rockets by the final score of 111-82 at Staples Centre. David is making the most of family time ahead of his move to Milan in January. He is set to join AC Milan on loan from his club LA Galaxy in order to maintain his fitness and his spot in the England squad. But while David decamps to Italy, wife Victoria and their sons will stay in America after the couple decided against uprooting the entire family.

Aww … seriously, aren’t these two the cutest? I’m so glad that Becks took Brooklyn to last night’s game because when last we saw Becks at the Staples Center to cheer on the Lakers, he was in much less cute/more undead company. Glad to see that he’s making the effort to hang with his kids while he still can.

Additionally, Becks was snapped making one of his famous coffee runs at Starbucks over the weekend:

I’m just amazed at how the man can make a plain white t and a pair of blue jeans look so good. He’s got a gift, I tells ya. I’m gald he’s happy to share!

In disguise
Romeo Beckham Celebrates 6 Years Of Life

Romeo Beckham celebrated his 6th birthday with his family and friends yesterday at the Universal Citywalk here in SoCal and he managed to do so incognito. Romeo thought it would be totally fetch to show up at his birthday party dressed as Batman … which is infinitely cooler than dressing up like the Red Power Ranger like his little brother Cruz Beckham did:

VB, it must be said, looked her usual chic self in her stylish orange dress … the eldest Beckham child, Brooklyn, opted out of dressing up in costume (guess he’s too old for such frivolities) and daddy David Beckham opted out of attending the birthday celebration altogether. Romeo had some famous friends come out for his birthday party yesterday afternoon. After the jump, find out who they were …

I simply have no words
Victoria Beckham Can Laugh

I … uh … am shocked, y’all. I never thought … I didn’t know it was possible … I … here is a picture of Vicki B. not only looking happy at a soccer match this week at Wembley Stadium in the UK (a match that David Beckam was playing) … but open-mouth laughing out loud and cheering with ecstatic glee with her children:

DAVID BECKHAM might have notched up a whopping 103 England caps in his career, but wife VICTORIA clearly still enjoys watching her man in action. The former Spice Girl was snapped cheering on the team with sons BROOKLYN, ROMEO and CRUZ, David’s sister JOANNE and mum SANDRA from a box at Wembley. Becks was substituted with 10 minutes left to play – but proud Sandra remained loyal and stayed to watch her son emerge onto the pitch at the end to swap shirts and wave his thanks to the crowd.

How is this possible? The only thing that makes sense is that Vicki B. recently got a tune-up to make her appear more … human. Technology just amazes me sometimes. She looks great, no?

Like father, like sons
The Beckham Boys

Here are a few super, duper cute pics of David Beckham and his eldest boys Brooklyn and Romeo enjoying an afternoon of soccer training and play together her in LA this week:

David Beckham’s little protégé Romeo proved he is every inch his father’s son during a training session in Los Angeles yesterday. The five-year-old showed he has the makings of greatness as he mirrored the LA Galaxy star’s kicking technique to a tee while running around the pitch in the famous 23 jersey. Beckham Senior was on hand for a spot of coaching, occasionally showing his son a move or two from the sidelines.

The littlest Beckham, Cruz, was nowhere to be seen … clearly he had better things to do. Mebbe he was working on his breakdancing moves or something. In any event, I love seeing pics of Becks and his boys playing soccer. I’m sure it fills Becks with endless pride to see his boys take to the sport he loves so much. I’m sure he has high hopes that Beckham soccer dynasty will live on once his boys get old enough to play professionally … but, that is still a long way off. Right now, the guys are just having fun playing around together. It’s really very sweet, don’t you think?

Surf's up and handed out
The 2008 Teen Choice Awards

Last night the 2008 Teen Choice Awards infiltrated and took over the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal City in Hollywood, CA in order to honor the previous year’s stellar achievements in categories which include music, movies, sports and TV, as voted on by teens aged 13-19. As usual, all the hottest young stars came out for the event … here are a few of the folks who walked the red carpet last night:

The “It” Girls were in attendance as were the new kids on the block — members of the cast of 90210 made last night’s Teen Choice Awards their unofficial coming out party to hang with the cool kids. There are a whole slew of pics to check out from last night’s fête. After the jump, check out some pics from the show itself, some pics of the couplely couples who were in the audience, some of the winners with their surfboards and, of course, a lot of Beckhamness …

Have they finally tired of their celebrity?
Les Beckhams No Longer Feign Happiness

Here are a few photos of David Beckham and Vicki B. as they made their way out of Il Sole restaurant last night and despite the pleasure I normally get from posting pics of Becks and his robotic wife, these pics leave much to be desired. Could the crabby faces on Les Beckhams mean that they’ve finally grown tired of their celebrity?

Say it ain’t so! Could it be that the intense glare of the media spotlight, that the couple have built a career on exploiting, finally be too much for the famous couple and their family? Or, mebbe they were just having a bad night? This past weekend, Becks and his eldest son Brooklyn were spotted leaving Benihana Japanese restaurant (in Becks‘s phat Rolls Royce) and Brooks looked like he was fed up with his the constant attention from the paps, too:

The poor kids looks like he’s about to snap. It must be difficult having to deal with all that attention, especially at such a young age, but it’s the life his parents have chosen for him. I tend to have a hard time feeling sorry for celeb families like this because even tho they may be inconvenienced from time to time (or on a daily basis) they enjoy so much wealth and privilege that it’s hard to shed tears … especially when they work so hard to achieve that attention. Again, mebbe it was just a bad night … here’s hoping they all cheer up soon. Gloomy Gusses really mute all the potential hotness that we should be enjoying.
