And another celeb couple bites the dust … Star magazine is reporting that the fairytale romance betwixt The Hills star Brody Jenner and his Playboy Playmate centerfold paramour Jayde Nicole has come to an end. According to the mag, Jayde had to be carried out unconscious after a long night of partying one time too many for Brody‘s liking … they are dunzo, y’all:

He’ll have more time to spend with his bros! Bromance and The Hills star Brody Jenner broke up with his Playboy Playmate girlfriend Jayde Nicole over the weekend after she passed out at the club My House Hollywood on Friday night and he had to carry her out of the place and take care of her the next day. “Jayde parties way too much and Brody couldn’t deal with it any longer,” a source tells Star. The source adds that Brody’s ex, Lauren Conrad is already playing matchmaker for the hunk, saying: “Lauren was happy with the split because she never liked Jayde and told Brody she will find him a new girlfriend.” Brody and Jayde first stepped out together at the MTV Video Music Awards in September. Just last month they cohosted a Valentine’s Day bash at the Highlands in Hollywood.

If a love like this cannot withstand the test of time then surely there is no hope for the rest of us … right? ;) Honestly, I gotta say that I’m not all that shocked at this news … whether this reported break-up is true or not, a couple like this is never meant to last for long. I’m sure Brody has a long list of willing ladies lined up to step in and take Jayde‘s place … I’m also sure that Jayde will have no problem finding a nice guy to show her some romantic attention. It IS interesting that Brody is single again now that filming on the 5th and final season of The Hills is underway … might there be a chance for a fictional reunion between Brody and Lauren LC Conrad? HMMMMMM.

The next season of The Hills is currently in production as the entire gang from the show were spied in Hawaii this week with MTV cameras in tow. Here is a group shot of the Hills folks sauntering nonchalantly on the beach in full view of any and everyone who cared to take notice yesterday afternoon:

While Lauren Conrad and Lo Boswoth may have vacated their Hollywood Hills pad, it seems they’ve traded up for the island paradise of Turtle Bay. Celebuzz spies in Oahu, Hawaii caught Lauren, Lo, Audrina Patridge and Stephanie Pratt vacationing this weekend at Turtle Bay resort, soaking up sun and cocktails—all on camera. While MTV was unreachable for comment, it seems Season 5 of the reality hit is upon us! “They were all together, sipping Chi-Chi’s [pina colada's with vodka],” the source says, “Lo picked up the tab for drinks and then all four girls laid in the sand.” Elsewhere at the resort, where Jason Segal and Mila Kunis filmed Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado enjoyed bro time while production was manned from two large trucks of equipment. And what can we expect from the island get away, by the time it makes its edited way to our hot little hands? Boy talk! “Lauren and Lo were talking about two guys they met at [Los Angeles club] Apple,” said the spy. The loves and lives of the SoCal girls now contend with expat Whitney Port, and her NYC show The City.

Meh. I gotta admit … the obvious unreality of this reality TV show is really unappealing. I mean, I get that it was always fake to an extent but the stagedness of the series has gotten so out of hand … there isn’t even a single ounce of believability anymore. Mebbe it’s just me but I really preferred the show when MTV at least tried to make the drama seem real … mostly by being more clandestine about how the show gets filmed. They’re not even trying to hide the fact that the show is mostly pre-contrived drivel. I dunno … it’s just not as fun anymore. Brody Jenner and BFF Frankie Delgado recently sat down with Life & Style magazine to talk about the new MTV competitive reality TV series Bromance (which debuts on December 29) and confess to the mag that there is still a chance for ex-BFF Spencer Pratt to get back in Brody‘s good graces. Since true bromances never die, Brody reveals that the door is always open for Spencer to, once again, roll in Brody‘s entourage … tho, Frankie reveals he can only do so after paying his dues:

Best friends Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt had a falling out on The Hills, but Brody, 25, says the door is still open for Spencer to appear on his new MTV reality show, Bromance, premiering Dec. 29, when Brody begins his search for a new buddy. “I love Spencer,” he tells Life & Style. “Trust was broken, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be friends.” Brody’s Bromance cohort, Frankie Delgado, says that if Spencer, 25, wants back in, he’s going to have to work for it. “He’ll have to compete,” Frankie says. “We’re going to have to put him through some tests!”

LOL. While I sincerely doubt that Spencer Pratt would ever agree to compete for Brody‘s attentions again, I think it would be hilarious to see him try. I’m a bit disturbed and intrigued by this Bromance show … I’m very curious to see what all these straight dudes are willing to go thru in order to be friends with Brody Jenner. I understand that being gay doesn’t help. Whether or not Spencer ever attempts to reignite his bromance with Brody remains to be seen … but it won’t be long before we get to see other dudes emasculate themselves to vie for his attentions and gain entry into his inner circle. Yep, this whole thing sure sounds very straight to me.

Cheeseball Brody Jenner is at it again. When he’s not throwing fake premiere events for a fake line of jeans for his new MTV competitive reality TV series Bromance (folks, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, you must click HERE) he is, apparently, channeling Ralph Macchio as the Karate Kid as he makes his way out of Hollywood hotspots like Coco De Ville in West Hollywood, CA … behold:

I mean. Whut? Don’t be surprised if these latest shenanigans also end up on Brody‘s new TV show. Brody is a total goofball which I think really adds to his appeal. I mean, Brody is a totally down guy, really nice and lots of fun … what’s not to love? If the girls on The Hills can branch out with their own shows, why can’t the guys? AND, I’m pretty sure that Brody would at least pay his bud Frankie Delgado for appearing on his show ;) I hear Bromance is scheduled to begin airing on MTV in late October … I honestly can’t wait to watch all those guys vying for Brody‘s affection. I mean … c’mon, that’s a little hot, right?

Brody Jenner was on hand at Kitson in West Hollywood, CA last night for a launch event to promote the release of his new denim jeans line called Brody Jenner Jeans. Here is your first look at what the promo materials for Brody‘s new jeans line looks like:

Words fail me. I mean, Brody is my dawg and all but … I just don’t know exactly what to say about this … life-size cut out display of Brody Jenner and his low-cut jeans. I mean … HMMM. Anyone?

UPDATE: PRAISE JEBUS! This Brody Jenner Jeans thing is not real … thank the gods. I hear from a little birdie in the know that this Kitson event was staged as one of the final challenges for the contestants on Brody‘s new reality show Bromance (which is currently filming). Thankfully, the jeans line and the ad campaign have been faked for the show. My faith in Brody has been restored.

Now … if only I could figure out how to get my hands on that life-size stand-up display of Brody and his buttcrack … I’m sure I can find a nice home for it!

Woo … my day/afternoon/evening/night at the 2008 MTV VMAs was a whole lotta fun but it was also a whole lotta hot! I basically spent the entire day outside, mostly in the blistering sun but once it got darker, much cooler. The day was really fun, a little manic and a total blast as always. Here are some of the pics that I snapped on the red carpet yesterday:

There were many highlights for me but I was very thrilled to be able to meet both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner who will both be starring in the upcoming movie version of Twilight. As you may already know, Robert plays Edward and Taylor plays Jacob. They were both very cool and I can’t wait to see them in character on the big screen when Twilight opens in November. As always, it was great getting to see the celebs on the carpet but I had the best time in the VIP green room area for the rest of the night … that’s where the food, booze and the celebs were just hanging out. I got to meet quite a few Pink readers, here are some pics of the folks that I got to meet:

The last pic of me and Will, my Detroit homie who was on the last season of The Real World: Hollywood but the other folks are various Pink readers I had the extreme pleasure to meet. In the first pic, the gent with the smooth outfit is Jeremiah James who is an up-and-coming singer who’s music has been featured on The Hills among other TV shows. I’ve checked out some of his music and he is really damn good. I hope to get to hear more of him soon. I’m posed with Kelly (who I love) in the pic with Jeremiah.

I also got to meet Greg, Hayley, Jennifer, Hannah, Carolina, Mindy, Tim and Heather (who I also love and am bummed we didn’t get a pic) … I’m sure I’ve forgotten a few names but it was my pleasure meeting you all.

My only party of the night was the VMAs official afterparty … to be honest, I was pretty wiped out from the late night before seeing Nine Inch Nails and the long day in the sun. I did have a great time tho … much, much love goes out to Emily, Sarah and Anastasia at MTV for taking amazing care of me. I can’t believe another MTV VMAs is already dunzo … it truly is the end of summer :(

Brody Jenner enjoyed an extended 25th birthday celebration in Cabo San Lucas over the weekend with his Hills castmates in tow. Jenner, along with Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge, reveled in all-night partying and daily beach lounging at the LG Villa, a private mansion in the Mexican resort town. The trio, as well as Jenner’s buds Frankie Delgado and Doug Reinhardt, arrived Thurs., Aug. 21—Brody’s actual birthday—and got down to some serious fun. “They went bananas,” a source tells E! News. “They partied until about 3 a.m.—cocktails, birthday cake, in and out of the pool.” The next day was spent surfing and tanning, and then as the sun set, the reality stars headed into downtown Cabo, where they drank with locals before heading back to the estate for another party. “Friday night was crazier—they were up until 8 a.m., beer and margaritas all night,” the spy says. Each of the guys had his own accommodations at the seven-bedroom estate, but Lauren and Audrina opted to share the Honeymoon Suite together. And where was Lo Bosworth in the mix? “Nowhere to be found,” the source said. “Lo doesn’t really know him. It was Brody’s trip, just his close friends,” says the spy.

No word on what, if anything, these folks got paid for this little holiday but if the Hills pay scale trend continues, then we know that poor Frankie didn’t get a dime. The weather has really been heating up here in the greater Los Angeles area but it appears that things are hotter still a bit further up the coast in Malibu, CA … where Brody Jenner was snapped enjoying a day at the beach yesterday, showing off his glistening muscles in the bright California sun … behold:

Sorry, let me compose myself … anyways, I love that Brody is taking up the mantle of ensuring that the hotness be broughten as the summer heats up. Since we can no longer rely on guys like Matthew McConaughey, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Phillippe to strip down with any relative frequency any more, I salute Brody for picking up their slack. I suppose I should make mention that Brody wasn’t alone at the beach yesterday … he had some help from a special friend who was on hand to help rub sunscreen all over his nekkid torso …

People magazine just revealed its list of the Hollywood’s Hottest Bachelors of 2008, choosing Mario Lopez to top the list. Here are a few pics of some of the bachelors who made their list this year and a portion of People‘s interview with Mario Lopez:

Mario Lopez may be PEOPLE’s Hottest Bachelor – but the A Chorus Line star and fitness buff has a shocking admission: He was a chubby baby. “I looked like a sumo wrestler,” Lopez says in a new interview. “My mom had to pull the fat folds apart when she bathed me!” But that’s all in his past. As fans know, Lopez has mined his love of fitness to create his own book, Mario Lopez’s Knockout Fitness. The exercise guru, who is recently single, says that a full slate of projects has kept him off the dating market but that hasn’t stopped him from thinking about dating completely. “I like a girl who’s from a modest sort of upbringing, because it’s more relatable,” he says, explaining what he looks for in a potential girlfriend. “I’m a first-generation American. My parents [Elvia and Mario Sr.] emigrated from Mexico and live in the same house I grew up in Chula Vista, Calif. I’d feel weird if the girl was a little too uppity or affluent, because I’m a very down-home kind of guy.”

It’s interesting that Mario was chosen to top the list of People‘s Hottest Bachelors because he *just* broke up with his girlfriend Karina Smirnoff (of Dancing with the Stars fame) just a few weeks ago (I wonder who the #2 guy was/is). In any event, the full list of bachelors who made the cut this year is revealed in the new issue of People magazine (which hits newsstands on Friday) but People.com has a gallery of some of the guys who made the cut. I totes understand why dudes like Adam Levine, Terrance Howard and Gerard Butler made the list but I’m surprised that Bryan Spears (Britney‘s older brother) and Hunter Johansson (Scarlett‘s twin brother) made the list. Neither one is a big name in Hollywood and, yet, they still are listed among the hottest bachelors in Hollywood. Something tells me that the People list was pretty thin so they had to beef it up with extraneous family guys (not that either Bryan or Hunter aren’t hawt enough, I just think they’re not famous enough). In any event, congrats (?) goes out to the lucky dudes who made the list … I suppose kudos are in order for being hawt and single.
