Earlier this month we heard that Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner broke up. Then we heard that they were back together again … or, more likely, that they had never broken up as rumored in the first place. Today we get to see photographic PROOF that Bravil are still happily together. Brody took his lady love Avril out for a lovely sushi dinner together last weekend and as you can see in the photos below … they looked about as together as they ever have before.

Last week we wrote that we had heard that Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner had ended their relationship. This however was never confirmed by the pair, and now People Mag has reported that the couple were spotted together on the weekend, out on a date and being very affectionate with each other. This could mean one of two things: they are back together, or it was all just a rumor and they never broke up in the first place.

After 2 years together, US Weekly has repored that our fave skater girl, Avril Lavigne has ended things with her boyfriend, Brody Jenner. The couple called it off last week because they apparently couldn’t find balance in their relationship without sacrificing their individual careers. Aww…

Former reality star Brody Jenner got himself into a spot of trouble in Hollywood, CA last night after a raucous evening of partying with his ladylove Avril Lavigne evolved into a late night visit to the emergency room. As I understand it, Brody and Avril started off the night swimmingly … Brody even tweeted this message early in the night: Having the best night with the love of my life @AvrilLavigne so happy right now!! But that happiness was not long lasting because after a club fight inside the Roosevelt Hotel, Brody ended up with a bloody gash on his head after he took a bottle to the face!

Last month we learned that reality TV star Brody Jenner took his love for newish girlfriend Avril Lavigne to new lengths by tattooing the girl’s name on his arm. Today we learn that Brody‘s apparent love of Avril has inspired his latest hair’do … behold:

They have tattoos of each others’ names inked onto their bodies and have been joined at the hip since they started dating each other in May. But for Brody Jenner this isn’t enough to show the world he loves his chart-topping girlfriend Avril Lavigne. For as the pair stepped out for a stroll in Los Angeles, the 26-year-old revealed a large A shaved into the side of his new mohawk hairstyle. The couple were both dressed down in loose trousers and t-shirts and appeared to be happy as ever laughing and smiling … Since the Sk8ter Boi singer and The Hills star started dating they have been very public about their affection for each other, tweeting that they love each other. They have also been spotted canoodling all over Los Angeles.

OY … as bad as this new ‘do looks on Brody, I have to say that it still looks HEAPS better than the new ‘do that Mike The Situation Sorrentino is rockin’ these days. I’ve seen recent photos of Brody out and about and he longer appears to have the name AVRIL tattooed on his arm (not that I can see, that is) so it’s possible that his newest tattoo isn’t as permanent as we may have believed. Still … it’s pretty evident that Brody is in lurve, like, for serious. HMMM … kids these days.

Well … that’s it, the end, fini, over … dunzo! The Hills, the reality TV series that was spun off of the original MTV series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, came to an end last night as the series finale episode aired on MTV. For the past 4 years, The Hills has provided some of the most significant pop culture moments of celebrity/reality TV hybrid programming and provided us with hours of extremely addictive if primarily vapid entertainment. Whether you love the show, hate the show, love to hate the show or whatever … you cannot deny the impact of The Hills. I’ve been with these characters since Laguna Beach debuted back in 2004 and despite some waning excitement over the years, I’ve watched every single episode and for the most part loved the series overall. Here are some photos from last night’s red carpet arrivals at the The Hills Live: A Hollywood Ending afterparty which was held at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA:

“The Hills,” the landmark reality soap that cemented Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag and their pals as tabloid superstarlets, died Tuesday at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. It was 4. The popular series’ cause of death wasn’t provided, but MTV president of programming Tony DiSanto previously called it “an organic culmination of this saga.” “I’m oddly devastated that it’s come to an end,” said Ben “B-Side” Mandelker, who blogs about “The Hills” and its New York-set offspring “The City” on bsideblog.com. “My five-year goal was to appear as a sidekick on the show, ideally with a subtitle that defines me solely as the friend of someone else. Sadly, that dream never came to fruition.” After 102 installments, “The Hills” faded into the sunset Tuesday with a goodbye gala attended by the show’s cast and a wink, wink twist ending in the final episode that had friends-with-benefits Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner seemingly saying goodbye in front of the Hollywood sign, then appearing in front of a backdrop on the Paramount Studios’ lot. “With ‘The Hills’ off the air, I no longer have to field questions about the show’s authenticity,” said Mandelker. “I can think of about 10 different things I’d rather do than engage in yet another dumb argument about whether or not ‘The Hills’ is staged. I just tell people it’s like professional wrestling: Don’t take it so seriously, and enjoy the ride.” The club-hopping, music-pumping, cat-fighting, mascara-dripping, mouth-dropping, crystal-worshipping drama of “The Hills” debuted in 2006 as a spin-off of MTV’s popular high school reality docudrama “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.” The series originally documented the journey of bubbly “Laguna Beach” graduate Conrad to Los Angeles. As the show progressed, “The Hills” morphed from a coming-of-age story centering on the budding fashion designer to a splashy soap focusing on a bevy of beautiful people. Andy Dehnart, who has blogged about reality TV for more than 10 years at realityblurred.com, said the series’ lush cinematography and phony authenticity left a lasting impression on the medium. “The legacy of ‘The Hills’ is that it improved the visual language of reality TV while proving that a series could be sustained in an M.C. Escher-like circle where tabloid coverage of the cast members sustained interest in a narrative that largely ignored their real lives, including the intense media coverage that generated interest in the show,” said Dehnart … Throughout its tumultuous six seasons, tabloids and blogs were enamored with the show’s never-ending series of breakups, make-ups and fall-outs, most notably the epic divide between best friends Montag and Conrad, who left “The Hills” in the middle of the fifth season and was replaced by her sassy, raspy “Laguna Beach” adversary Cavallari. The transition from Conrad to Cavallari as the series’ narrator and Montag’s marriage to bad boy Spencer Pratt — the real wedding, not the phony Mexican one — marked the beginning of the end of “The Hills.” Villainous couple Pratt and Montag, who underwent 10 plastic surgery procedures earlier this year, were later phased out of the final season.

It’s amazing to me that a show like The Hills managed to not only define its own section of pop culture but it also managed to create its own mythology that actually took on a life of its own. Despite the fact that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt annoyed the hell out of me for the duration of their time on the show, I was a bit sad that the villainous Speidi were not included at all in last night’s finale. They had a huge hand in how the show turned out (for better or worse) and that could’ve been mentioned at the very least. THO, Spencer Pratt did manage to crash the afterparty last night … he showed up lookin’ crazy and deranged, which is exactly what you would expect from a guy like Spencer Pratt. Earlier this week we learned that newish lovebirds Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner decided to doom their fledgling relationship by getting their names tattooed on one another. In those photos, we didn’t get a really good look at Brody‘s “Avril” tattoo … so today we get to see new photos of the couple out on the town here in LA last night that plainly show Brody‘s tragic new ink:

To be honest, it still looks like Avril‘s name is written on his arm in pen … but unless Brody hasn’t showered in the past few days, I’m now pretty sure that it’s a genuine he-is-really-gonna-regret-it-one-day tattoo. Avril‘s tattoo of Brody‘s name is written on her ribs just under her right breast … she’s luckily able to hide it better than Brody can. I personally feel these tattoos are the worst idea ever but … I guess only Bravil knows what’s good for Bravil.

Back in April we learned the fairly surprising news that newly divorced popstar Avril Lavigne had coupled up with playboy partyboy Brody Jenner. In June the couple decided to stop hiding their lurve under a bushel and went public on the beaches of Costa Rica. Today we see photos of the pair together a little closer to home … and proudly showing off their new tattoos! That’s right, folks … Avril got Brody‘s name seemingly tattooed on her ribs and Brody got Avril‘s name (with a star) seemingly tattooed on his arm:

I say “seemingly” because we don’t know for sure if these are actual tattoos or just pen doodles … but the placement of Avril‘s ink of Brody‘s name seems pretty telling that she got an actual tattoo (whereas girls who doodle guy’s names on their bodies usually do so on their knees, hands or tennis shoes). I cannot believe that Bravril would actually decide to tattoo each other’s names on their bodies but, then again, there’s a lot about these two that I cannot believe:

I think it’s pretty common knowledge that tattooing a boyfriend/girlfriend’s name on your body is the absolute kiss of death for the relationship … but, who knows, maybe Bravil‘s love will be the exception. Personally, I doubt it but … I guess time will tell. So … what do y’all think? Is tattooing a loved one’s name on your body a good idea or not?

In April we learned that Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne had coupled up together … in May the couple finally went public with their lurve … this month, Bravil have taken the next step — their first vacation together. Brody and Avril popped up on a beach in Costa Rica lookin’ all kinds of coupley … behold:

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner are taking their romance international – cozying up on the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. The pop-punk princess and The Hills star were spotted on Friday cuddling on the beach and sending the already tropical temperatures soaring, even though Jenner was sporting some not so hot ‘Spam’ shorts. The couple have tried to keep their relationship on the down low, insisting they are ‘just friends’ but pictures speak louder than words – and as they are snapped making out and cuddling around the world it’s pretty hard to keep up the denials. Brody and Avril set the romance rumours in motion when they were first spotted dining together at Hollywood hotspot Koi on February 4th, following up with a PDA packed rendezvous at top club, Voyeur. And they have reportedly got matching tattoos – twice! Back in April the pair got matching ‘lighting bolt’ tattoos during a trip to Las Vegas, Avril on her forearm and Brody behind his ear. One month later, they rocked into Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club Tattoo Parlor in Hollywood where they got a matching F-word obscenity tattooed on their ribs. Nothing says I love you like a matching tattoo – especially a four-lettered one!

UGH … first matching tattoos (TWO sets of matching tattoos) and now international holidays together? This is really starting to sound serious. To be honest, I didn’t think these two were actually gonna make a go of it as a couple (not even after I heard about the tattoos … which, incidentally, is the kiss of death where couples are concerned) … but now that Bravril have taken their lurve international? They might actually be in it for the looooong haul. My gut still tells me they won’t last but … stranger things have happened. What do y’all think … is this true love for Bravril?

In early April, we saw the first photos of new couple Brody Jenner and the just-divorced Avril Lavigne lookin’ all coupley in public … today we get to see new pictures of the pair out and about seeming ready to tell the world that they are SO together. Here are pics of Bravril flaunting their love for anyone to see:

Okay … so maybe they’re not so much “flaunting” as they are just “walking side-by-side like any two people walking side-by-side together” but still … you just know they are SO together. As secretive as these two have been about their creepin’ around, I’m thinkin’ this is a signal that they are finally comfortable being seen together out and about. While I still think this is a very weird match, I wish them the best. I guess it was only a matter of time before Brody hooked up with a divorcée … right?
