After her 3 shows in Brisbane, Britney plays one more show in Melbourne and one show in Adelaide and then she is OUTTA there. For the most part, I think Britney’s Aussie tour has been a success but the early controversy (that just won’t end) very likely soured her to Oz. My guess is that Britney prolly won’t be touring there again for a very long time, if ever again … which sucks her for very loyal and steadfast Aussie fans. She’s in the home stretch now … all y’all folks down under who still have the opportunity to see her live should see her live. It may be y’all last chance.

Britney Spears will release the follow-up to 2008’s Circus in late spring 2010, it has been confirmed. According to her record label Jive, the singer is working towards a May release for her seventh studio album. US songwriter Sean Garrett recently confirmed that he is penning material for the new record. The 27-year-old is also expected to team up with Max Martin, who wrote previous hits including ‘…Baby One More Time’, ‘If U Seek Amy’ and current single ‘3′. Spears released The Singles Collection on November 16.

Looking tanned and toned, it seems as though Britney Spears may have finally put her turbulent weight-gain years behind her. Wearing a tiny green bikini, the singer showed off her curves – and her tattoos – as she spent Saturday relaxing on board a yacht in Sydney Harbour. Britney, 27, was posing on millionaire media owner Paul Ramsay’s boat, Oscar, as she marked the halfway mark on her first Australian tour. It was clear to see that her arduous training and workout routines have paid off as she boasted a trimmer figure. After cruising the harbour, the yacht moored at Camp Cove off Watsons Bay for lunch … Snapped eating sandwiches and salad and drinking Vitamin Water, Britney was relaxing with her sons Sean Preston, four, and Jayden James, three, and her manager boyfriend Jason Trawick.

I’m glad she’s not letting the overblown controversy in Oz keep her down … in fact, it looks like she is having the time of her life with her happy family in Australia. As much as she appears to be enjoying her time in Oz, I’m guessing she’s prolly really ready to be off the road. I’m pretty sure these last few dates in Australia are her last of the tour … then she can finally return home for some prolonged rest and relaxation. She looks great and I love seeing her lookin’ so great! It’s clear that hard work and lots of love have been very good for her.

It’s very clear that Jason, whatever his relationship is with their mother, loves and cares for Britney’s sons and seems to do everything he can to stabilize their young lives. He really does look a fine daddy for those little boys. I still contend that Britney is enjoying the fruits of their relationship as well … here’s hoping that we get to see a lot more of Britwick and their familial bonding for many, many years to come.

I’m telling you, there ain’t a sweeter sight than that of Sean Preston and Jayden James being carried in the arms of their mother and pseudo father Jason. They really make an adorable little family. It turns out that someone was able to hack into Britney’s official Twitter account and post these messages before Britney was any the wiser. As you may recall, Britney’s Twitter account was hacked back in January of this year … back then, someone posted on her account that the “size of [her] vagina” is “about 4 feet wide with razor teeth”. At least this hack job is a bit more interesting and a lot more funny. The security of Britney’s Twitter account has been reestablished and her account is back to normal now … but see how much fun you miss when you are not following Britney Spears?

So cute … so precious. Now that Jason Trawick and her sons have joined our dear Britney down under, her happy family can carry on with her Aussie tour as a complete unit. I kinda like that Jason combed down his usually wild hair for this outing with the family … he really does make a fitting father figure, don’t you think?

Oh yes … Britwick look VERY close and cozy … they are so together … there is not one doubt in my mind — there is love between these two. Now, it remains to be seen if their love will lead to Happily Ever After but they sure do look like they are having a great time in the mean time. BRITNEY Spears was holed up in a Perth hotel yesterday as the row over her lip-synching concerts threatened to derail her Australian tour. Fans walked out after only three songs at Perth’s Burswood Dome on Friday, upset by her lacklustre performance. Many claimed her show was not worth the $200 they had paid. The lip-synch controversy has dogged Spears since she arrived in Australia and made headlines around the world, including on US TV’s CNN. Adding to Spears’ woes, media companies, including News Limited, refused to photograph the concert after being asked to signrestrictive agreements by her management. None were imposed on video journalists. Spears mimed most of her songs on stage, singing only on ballads. Among fans who walked out early was Amanda Hawlet, 22, who drove from home two hours away and spent almost $500 on a weekend to see Britney. She left only half an hour into the action, angry at the miming. “I want my money back or I want her to sing properly,” she said. “The ticket cost me $200 and she lip-synched the whole thing. It’s cost me half a week’s wage and you’ve got bills to pay, but you look forward to this concert, it’s a night out – and what do you get? Nothing! It was a waste of $200 – I could have got four pairs of shoes for that.” The lack of big screens – masking Spears’ miming and taking the focus away from her rigid performance – left many in the cheap seats fuming. Fans complained that the US pop star spent large portions of the in-the-round show with her back to them. “You couldn’t tell if it was Britney or not,” Mel McGuigan, 25, said. A Burswood spokesman said a record concert crowd had made it a huge success. No complaints had been received from fans, a statement said.

But while these folks were walking out of the show, another 18,272 people stayed inside to enjoy the show … which I understand set a new audience attendance record for Perth, Australia. The previous attendance record was set by P!nk with an audience of around 17,000. So, while Britney has a small number of critics, she also has a much larger audience of supportive fans who love and appreciate her entirely. Sounds like the fan climate down in Oz is about the same as it is here in the US. Our dear Britney has been thru worse … I’m sure she’ll weather this bit of controversy just fine.
