Britney Spears, who is currently making her way across North America on her The Circus starring Britney Spears Tour, played a show in Montreal, Canada last night and afterward gathered up her posse and made a grand appearance at Tribe Hyperclub to dance the night away. Brit’s closest friends and associates on this tour — assistants Felicia Culotta and Brett Miller along with her very loyal manager Larry Rudolph — enjoyed the Montreal nightlife with our dear Britney last night … here are a few photos:

As you can see, the nightclub literally rolled out the red carpet for Britney’s arrival. I understand her troop of backup dancers also came out for the festivities. Last night, Britney sent out a tweet on her official Twitter profile that read:

Went to Tribe in Montreal with the dancers after the show last night. We had a really great time. 2 days off in a row! -Brit

It really sounds like Britney is having a great and safe time on this tour. With so many people who genuinely care about her watching over her, I think she is learning that she can have a good time and not put herself in danger. I still have a few weeks to go before I can see her live in concert on this tour … the anticipation is killing me. I’m glad to hear that things are going so well, tho. I can’t wait to see her on the concert stage again.

Pink readers Meghan and Jamie Leigh both gave me the heads up that Britney Spears and her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James were spotted at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Florida early in the day yesterday because each one of them saw her with their own eyes. Britney performed the second date of her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears in Atlanta, GA last night but she managed to fit in the trip to Disney World with her kiddies early in the day. Here is a photo of Britney with her youngest son Jayden James and her assistant Brett Miller riding the race cars in the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway and Meghan’s account of her Britney sighting yesterday:

Hey Trent, I saw Briney Spears and her two sons at the Magic Kingdom today at Walt Disney World. I did not get any pics, but I was walking right next to her for quite a bit. She was wearing a striped top, black skinny jeans and stilletto boots, and carrying one of her sons, who was holding a Buzz Lightyear doll. The other little man (I couldn’t tell which was which!) was in a double stroller being pushed by a nanny. She had a bodyguard who looked like that guy from the Green Mile–big scary man! But in a Hawaiian shirt–like that doesn’t stand out! My first impression was how incredibly thin and pretty she is in person! My husband is Cast Member and I am in Disney World all the time, but this is my first celebrity-sighting.

OMG! How fun! I would’ve DIED if I ran into Britney like that. Not to be out done, Pink reader Jamie Leigh was lucky enough to meet Britney yesterday at Disney World herself:

thought of you the whole time, and would flip his wig over this, lol. my first thought was, “ughh we kinda look alike……weird….” my friend will is an Imagineer, i drove over from a break from the office to eat lunch, we eat in a cafe just for people who live here, come annually etc (michael jackson has it, IRONY) she came in before heading to toon town and was eating behind our table, will got up and introduced me, “this is the incomparable jamie leigh” BARFFFFFFF i shook her hand, said nice to meet you (I WAS STARVING MIND YOU) said hi to her kids, cutteeeee then SHE asked for a picture and i said No, yes i turned your hero down – lol but i have good reason! i am a mess today! i worked long hours yesterday, i wasnt feeling too well these last few hours so i said if it ok if i pass??? not one of my best days, she said something like, “trust me girl, i know how that goes..” said im not attending a show, she offered.. wished her all the very best, said

Yesterday we saw a few photos of Britney Spears spending some quiet, alonetime with her sons Sean Preson and Jayden James at their home in SoCal before they all packed their bags and boarded a plane for Kentwood, LA. Britney and her crew, including Papa Jamie Spears and her still assistant Brett Miller, arrived in Kentwood late yesterday afternoon where they were met by members of the Spears clan, including Mama Lynne Spears and big brother Bryan Spears … here are a few photos:

Britney Spears is on the road again. The singer flew from Los Angeles to McComb, Miss. on Friday in anticipation of kicking off her Circus tour on Tuesday, March 3 in New Orleans. Spears, 27, arrived in at the airport – about 15 miles from her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana – looking fit and pretty in a red top and black skirt. She was accompanied by an entourage of about a dozen people, including her two sons Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2, and her brother. The singer was met by her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears, who greeted Britney with a kiss on her forehead. According to a twitter posting on the singer’s Web site, she wrote that her status as of Friday afternoon was: “On my way to Kentwood … Five days left! So excited.” The tour is the last major step in Spears’s comeback, which she started last fall. “She looks great, she’s working out three or four hours a day,” a source close to the family tells PEOPLE. “Everybody’s pulling for her after all she’s been through.”

This pit stop is the last for Britney before she officially kicks off her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears in New Orleans, LA next Tuesday. I imagine that Brit Brit will be recharging her batteries at home with her family for the next few days as final preparations for her tour continue to unfold. It must be a terribly exciting time for Britney right now … she’s been away from the performance stage for quite some time now. I’m trying not to have too grand expectations about her new tour. While I’m sure it’ll be a fun spectacle, I’m not really going into seeing it with any sort of expectations. I know it’ll rock … I just hope she’s ready. It won’t be long until we find out just how ready she really is.

Good news on the Britney Spears front today!! As you may recall, last week we learned that Britney Spears struck a deal with Kevin Federline to allow her children to accompany her on tour this Spring as she brings her The Circus starring Britney Spears Concert Tour to venues across the country. Today, TMZ offers new deets that explain just what that deal is comprised of and also offers amazing child custody news in Britney’s favor. The contracts have been signed, it’s now absolutely official:

It’s official… Britney Spears will go on tour — for a price. We’ve learned Jamie Spears and K-Fed have now both signed the document we told you about last week, which clears the path for Brit taking her kids on the road for her upcoming concert tour. What, you ask, is in it for Federline?? How bout $5,000 a week. As we first reported, the way the deal goes is Jayden James and Sean Preston will follow Britney to three hubs — New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Britney will commute back and forth from each hub during the tour. She’s also renting houses in New Jersey and New Orleans for Kevin if he wants to come along for the ride. But K-Fed gets the $5,000 a week, whether he shows up or not. But wait, there’s more. We’ve learned the deal Jamie and K-Fed signed memorializes the custody arrangement they’ve all been following since last year. Britney gets the kids 3 days and nights a week, according to the new agreement, which will remain in effect after the tour is over. We’re also told many weeks, Britney has the kids more than Kevin. So in effect it’s 50/50 custody. Score another victory for Brit’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, who sealed the deal.

While I don’t think this new arrangement is exactly 50/50 custody in the technical sense per se, the time the children spend with each parent is split about 50% so … semantics aside, it looks as if Britney has finally won back as much custody of her children as she’s ever had. This is great news. Money talks, I knew all along that for the right prince, K-Fed would stop fighting and give in. It’s a shame that Britney has to pay her children’s father to be with her kids but, at least she gets the time with them that she’s always wanted. This is really great news.

In other Britney (possibly amazing) news, BreatheHeavy.com is reporting that Britney’s current assistant Brett Miller is about to be fired and that Britney’s old, beloved assistant Felicia Culotta has been rehired to replace her! Our dear Britney Spears, who made her way to Japan last week, has been keeping herself pretty bizzy in the Land of the Rising Sun over the past few days. Her official site, BritneySpears.com and her Twitter profile, has been updating us fans with photos of her adventures and it looks like Brit Brit has been getting in some vacay time interspersed with her promo work. First up, here are a few pics of Britney strolling the streets with her assistant Brett Miller as they did a bit of shopping and eating together:

Ahead of her X Factor performance, Britney Spears was on a strict diet to ensure she looked her best – and munching on a tasty burger would have been unthinkable. But yesterday the Womanizer singer was seen heading towards a fast food joint as she spent the afternoon in Japan’s trendy Harajuku on a shopping spree. Spears went to the the Lotteria chain – which has a similar menu to McDonald’s – before hitting the clothes shops. Not only was she being unhealthy in her choice of food, but she was also seen smoking a cigarette to top off the blow-out afternoon. The 27-year-old sported a black and white coat over a green polo neck top and was accompanied by her assistant and security guard. Maybe decided to have a blow-out to celebrate the success of her latest album Circus, which went to number one in the U.S. album charts last week after selling 505,000 copies in its first week of release. And after being released [in the UK], it has become her fastest selling album in the UK to date. In addition to reaching Number One in the U.S., the record entered at the top of the charts in Brazil, Canada, Japan, Mexico and Switzerland.

Um, yeah … she deffo deserves to pamper and splurge a little, I’d say. But, it wasn’t all vacationing for Britney … she also had some work to do. Here is a pic of Britney performing Womanizer on the hit TV show Hey!Hey!Hey! last night:

Britney Spears, who recently spent a bit of time promoting her new album Circus in Europe and here in the US, has made her way to the Land of the Rising Sun to take the promo machine there for the next few days. Britney, with her amazing assistant Brett Miller and her astounding manager Larry Rudolph (not pictured), arrived at LAX Airport yesterday and have already arrived at Narita International Airport in Japan:

I think it’s tomorrow, Saturday, in Japan right now … I understand that our dear Britney is scheduled to perform on a Japanese TV show called HEY!HEY!HEY! on Monday night (12/15) and will be appearing on a program called NTV Best Artist 2008 on Tuesday night (12/16). I believe Brit will be performing on both of these shows. I know that folks in Japan got mad lurve for Britters so I’m sure they’ll take good care of her. I suspect that Brit will sneak in some holiday downtime while there this weekend … it sounds like it’ll be a pretty fun trip. I can’t wait to see her performances on these upcoming shows.

After Britney Spears wowed the crowd on the UK’s competitive reality TV program X-Factor last night, she and her cavalcade of dancers made their way to the London nightclub G-A-Y to surprise the attendees with her presence and to get her birthday celebrations off to an early start. Here are a few pics of Britney being presented with a birthday cake at the nightclub last night:

But while Britney and her crew were having a great time celebrating her birthday in the VIP area, the massive number of folks who came out to the club to celebrate with her did not have such a great time. According to messages left on the club’s messageboard, too many people were let into the venue making for a very unsafe environment for many. Here are two messages posted on the G-A-Y messageboard that explain how things went down last night from two individual perspectives (grammatical and spelling errors are the authors’ alone):

i’m at home and there is no way i will sleep tonight it was not Britney s fault ..tonight reminded me of that football thing in the 80s when many people was crushed( and killed) it could have been like that as it was getting to the stage when i said to my bf “someone is going to get killed”. I STILL CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS HAPPNED LIKE THIS i’m writting to the council as i dont think wat went on tonight can just be left at that. no doubt the papers will also write a story or many on tonight. a joke of the biggest kind. HAS ALOT TO ANSWER FOR just thank god no one was killed tonight.

While some of the messages posted to the board may be a *tad* overdramatic (tho, considering what happened at Wal-Mart here in the US, mebbe they weren’t being overdramatic at all), I think it’s clear that the management did a poor job of policing the space capacity. There are many messages of anger towards Britney herself for “not showing up” to the venue as advertised (even tho it was never advertised that she would be there for sure). Unfortch for those people, they were too bizzy being crushed in other areas of the club that they weren’t even aware that she was there in the first place. The scene sounds ridiculous … I’m not surprised that Britney’s people chose to keep her from going on stage. With that many people crushed into a small place, there’s no telling what would’ve happened once the crowd caught sight of her. All in all, it doesn’t sound like it was a great night for the common folk who came out to G-A-Y last night. At least Britney managed to have a bit of a party with her people in the VIP area, away from the madness below.
