Britney Spears, who kicked off a 3-night engagement at Madison Square Garden here in NYC last night with a performance of her show The Circus starring Britney Spears, made a special appearance in Times Square yesterday afternoon to personally deliver a pair of ringside tickets to a pair of lucky fans who follow her on Twitter. All day long yesterday, Britney tweeted clues to the location of a pair of hidden tickets and two adept fans found the hiding place to win the tickets … which were personally delivered by Brit Brit herself:

As you can see, Brit was accompanied by her assistant Brett Miller and her manager Larry Rudolph … also, you can see that the lucky fans not only won a pair of tickets to last night’s show but they also each won a bottle of Britney’s newest fragrance Circus Fantasy by Britney Spears — isn’t that exciting? Britney Spears, “our very own princess, Queen of Pop”, made her way to The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey, CA yesterday to show off her HOT HOT HOT pink bikini as she and her faithful assistant Brett Miller chilled by the pool … behold:

Now that Brit Brit has got her BANGIN’ body back, it’s evident that she intends to show it off at every possible occasion. She’s gonna be back on the road again to kick off the second North American leg of her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears this Thursday night in Hamilton, Ontario so it looks like she’s gonna get in all the relaxin’ she can before she gets back to the grind of touring. I have to say, the hot pink looks really good on her … I’m not sure if you can tell but her hairband is matching color of pink! Love her!!!

Our dear Britney Spears, who has been chillin’ here at home for the past couple of weeks in between concert tour outings, was spotted tooling around town yesterday in a newish Porsche convertible car (with her assistant Brett Miller riding shotgun) after she got rid of her big white Mercedes G-Wagen truck earlier this week (not sure if she sold it or just turned it back in but the truck was hauled away from her home on a huge flatbed tow truck on Thursday). To be honest, Brit Brit switches up her cars so frequently, I can’t keep them all straight … but whatever is going on with her rides, this Porsche is her latest acquisition:

I’m happy to report that Britney hasn’t merely been buyin’ new cars, no sir, she spent part of her day yesterday at Conway Recording studios in Hollywood, CA presumably to get some work done on some new music. Rumor has it that Britney will be dropping a new album next year so it’s very likely that she is workin’ on some new material. But, with the resumption of her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears in a few weeks, it’s more likely she was doing work for the show. I understand that 2 new songs are going to be added to the setlist so, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

Britney Spears has already made her way to Dublin, Ireland where she will be performing in concert tonight but before she left beautiful Londontown she did herself a bit of shopping with her able assistant Brett Miller in tow. I understand that Kevin Federline had the boys with him so that Britney could do a bit of shopping at the fine local British mercantiles … like Gap:

There’s a Gap on almost every corner in her native America, so perhaps Britney Spears was looking for a reminder of home as she enjoyed a shopping spree in London yesterday. The singer stopped into the chain as she took some time out of her tour schedule for a spot of retail therapy. She emerged carrying two full bags, ignoring the fact she would have had to pay more for items here than in her native United States. Jeans and T-shirts are generally cheaper across the Atlantic, but maybe Britney was taking advantage of the current exchange rate. In UK stores, women’s jeans range from £35 – £45 while in America they start around the equivalent of £29. Britney, along with a throng of photographers and fans, then moved on to Chloe on Sloane Street, and Jack Willis on Kings Road … Last night Britney’s ex husband Kevin Federline was seen taking the couple’s sons for dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. The former back up-dancer agreed to come along on the tour so that the children were not separated from their mother for too long. Britney was even said to be paying him $4,000 a week to travel with her so she could be near them.

You can take the girl out of Kentwood, Louisiana but you can’t take the Gap out of the girl. You know, for all of Britney Spears’s faults the girl deffo knows how to keep it real. She ain’t perfect but she does look happy … and that is really all that matters. You enjoy this tour of Europe Britney … and enjoy all the McDonald’s restaurants and Gap stores you like :)

Our dear Britney Spears, who has been enjoying a short vacation in the Bahamas recently (in the close and intimate company of her family, her children and her very attentive agent Jason Trawick), managed to swing by Louisiana on Saturday in order to attend the wedding of her cousin Laura Lynne Covington in Amite, LA. Britney was only in town for a short visit to appear at the nuptials as an “honorary” bridesmaid (whatever that means) and to celebrate with her family at the reception … and then it was back on her private jet bound for home. Here are pics of Britney making her grand escape from Louisiana yesterday and some info about the family wedding itself:

After making a big splash in the Bahamas the day before, Britney Spears emerged Saturday in Amite, La., where she made a low-key appearance as an “honorary” bridesmaid at the wedding of her cousin, Laura Lynne Covington. “When her brother walked her down the aisle, she looked stunningly calm and beautiful,” says one wedding guest. “She was very pretty, low-key. She was not the center of everything, just pretty and calm and collected.” The wedding took place at the First United Methodist Church, the same church where the funeral for Covington’s mother Sandra, who died of ovarian cancer, took place in January 2007. Later, at the wedding reception, the pop star hung out with her sister and fellow bridesmaid, Jamie Lynn, who toted baby Maddie, and “sat at a table off to the side and visited with local people she knew,” says the guest. “There was no fanfare,” noted the guest. “With all the star power Britney and her family command, it was still the bride’s day.”

Unlike Britney’s fake cousin and former assistant Alli Sims, Laura Lynne is Britney’s real family and it makes sense that she would want to be a part of her special day. Laura Lynne was one of Britney’s bridesmaids when she got married to Kevin Federline back in 2004. It’s very clear to me that Britney only makes time for her family in matters like this, which I think is very healthy and good for her overall progress. It’s clear to me that Britney doesn’t like making too many appearances, especially at functions where her fame might be exploited but you can tell she remains grounded and loved when she returns to Louisiana. Congrats goes out to Laura Lynne on her nuptials.

Britney has been enjoying a wonderful vacation at Atlantis in the Bahamas with her family and friends. Enjoying everything from water rides to sea creatures, everyone has gotten to rest and relax while taking a short break from ‘The Circus’ tour.

Aww … it really looks like everyone is having a great time, especially our dear Britney. Just when you thought she couldn’t look any happier … she goes on vacation and looks even happier. Perhaps some of her new happiness has to do with the company she’s been keeping (and I ain’t referring to her family). Earlier this week, we did see photos of Britney and her agent Jason Trawick enjoying some alonetime as they strolled the beach together … this new batch of photos includes images of Britwick continuing to look all “friendly” with one another. After 2 months on the road with her tour The Circus starring Britney Spears, our dear Britney Spears has successfully completed the first leg of her touring plans. Earlier this week, Britney played her last North American show in Montreal, Qc Canada and has already returned home to SoCal to rest and relax for a bit before she flies off to the UK to begin the second leg of her tour next month. Here are a couple pics of Britney’s arrival in SoCal this week:

I can imagine that Brit Brit is really lookin’ forward to some downtime off the road, back home in her own digs. But, there really is no rest for the weary … Britney’s manager Adam Leber just posted a tweet to his official Twitter profile letting us know that there are plans to rework and rechoreograph a few numbers for the European leg of the tour (which starts up on June 3 when Britney plays 8 dates in London). It’s pretty amazing that Britney is still up for working this hard, after this stretch of touring. True, some bands tour for longer than 3 months at a time and still manage to soldier on but considering the state Britney was in just a little over a year ago? Yeah, I’m very impressed. Rest up, Britney! And keep up the great work!
