I just love these two… not only because they make a GORGEOUS couple, but the fact that they are both as HOT as each other, and now it seems we know that they each think the same of the other. Angeline Jolie reportedly told her hubby Brad Pitt at the Golden Globe after-party that she think he is “prettier than her.” Who do you think takes home the trophy for the prettiest of the Brangelina pair?

Brad Pitt may have gone home empty-handed from the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards last night but we can’t feel too bad for the ubersupermegastar. Brad is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new Movie issue of W magazine and in his coverstory interview, he recalls the early days of his acting career … back when he wasn’t a very good actor. Now that Brad is a big star, I guess it’s interesting to read about the early days when he wasn’t a big star … or something. Madonna wasn’t the only Golden Globe Award winner last night … a whole host of other folks were honored with awards in both film and television. The show itself, I gotta say, wasn’t nearly as entertaining as last year’s show. By all accounts, host Ricky Gervais did not perform as successfully this year as he did last year … and I think that fact had a huge impact on the show overall. A lot of my fave actors won this year (Jessica Lange, Meryl Streep, Madonna) as did some of my fave TV shows (Homeland, FTW!) … but I think the French silent film The Artist was the biggest winner of the night. Yesterday we reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were in Washington D.C. for the screening of her film, In The Land Of Blood And Honey. Brad Pitt is featured on the cover of the new special issue of New York Times Magazine that is devoted to the theme of Vamps, Crooks & Killers. In this special feature, 13 actors portray 13 different villainous characters from film in an inventive and clever way. For his feature, Pitt channels the David Lynch character Henry X from the film Eraserhead. In Moneyball, Brad Pitt plays Billy Beane, the general manager of the Oakland Athletics baseball team, who didn’t let a little thing like not having enough cash keep him from creating a team on par will well-moneyed franchises. It was Beane’s hyper-focus on an entirely different set of player stats (on-base percentage and slugging percentage) that let him put together a cheaper, albeit still competitive team.
