Yesterday we learned the very sad news that Bobbi Kristina, the only begotten child of the late Whitney Houston, was rushed to the hospital in the wake of her mother’s sudden death last Saturday. Today we learn that Bobbi‘s father Bobby Brown has canceled his tour plans and has made his way to LA in order to be with his daughter. It is being reported that the Houston family is very concerned about Bobbi Kris‘s well-being … and they fear that she may resort to harming herself out of grief at the loss of her mother.

Ugh … very troubling breaking news to pass along. It is being reported that Bobbi Kristina, the only begotten child of the late Whitney Houston and ex-husband Bobby Brown, was rushed to Cedars Sinai Hospital here in LA earlier this morning. As we learned previously, Bobbi Kris tried to gain access to the hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hilton where her mother died yesterday to see the body and she was turned away by police. It was reported that furiously upset Bobbi stormed away. News of today’s reported hospitalization is extremely concerning … because at this point, we cannot be sure why exactly she was rushed to the hospital. Read on to find out what we do know about this scary new development.

Bobbi Kristina, the only begotten child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is all grown up these days … but it really looks like she’s actin’ more grown than she actually is. Media Takeout has come upon a few photos of 17 year old Bobbi Kris partying with some friends that show her smoking and drinking and making out with a few different people. Honestly, it’s the kind of behavior that kids her age get away with all the time … but if this is the kind of behavior the young Miss Houston-Brown is being photographed doing, can you imagine what she might be getting up to when there aren’t cameras around?

MediaTakeOut.com has been telling you for MANY MONTHS . . . that Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kris is completely OUT OF CONTROL. Now we have EVIDENCE. The below photos were sent in by a loyal and trusted MTO reader (thanks GIRRRRL). They were apparently taken at an unsupervised party that the 17 year old Bobbi Kris attended. As the images show, Bobbi was drinking the VERY HIGH ALCOHOL energy drink Four Loko. And she’s smoking a NEWPORT cigarette. In another pic she’s MAKING OUT with a woman. Whitney . . . Bobby . .. go get your daughter. She obviously needs some GUIDANCE!!!

While the smoking and drinking is a bit worrisome (and let’s be honest, that Four Loko shizz is bad news), it should be pointed out that kids her age tend to experiment and engage in far worse behavior. What is troubling is that Bobbi Kristina is at the age where she is prolly very well aware of the behavior her father Bobby Brown is infamous for so it’s unlikely she can look to him for guidance. I sincerely hope that Bobbi Kris doesn’t get herself into too much trouble. It would be a shame if she ended up frittering her life away at such an early age, way before she has had her time to shine. At this point, it sounds like she is just acting out … testing her boundaries. Hopefully she won’t get herself into the kind of trouble that could ruin her life :(

Whitney Houston, who is currently on tour in Australia where she has been WOWing the crowd (well, not all of the crowds) on her Nothing But Love World Tour, took some time during her concert stop in Adelaide, Australia to wish her daughter a Happy Birthday on the concert stage. Bobbi Kristina was brought on stage where she was surprised with a birthday cake and a serenade from her fabulous mother:

Halfway through the show, during the “unplugged” portion when Houston, 46, performs old hits, she announced it was her daughter Bobbi Kristina’s 17th birthday, a source close to the singer tells PEOPLE. Houston then sang “Who Would Imagine a King” from The Preacher’s Wife. “[It's] one of Krissy’s favorites,” the source says, “and is not in the show.” Then a birthday cake was rolled out on stage, and Houston invited her daughter to come up, joined by her dancers and another tune – “Happy Birthday,” which was sung by the entire audience. Mother and daughter also celebrated the occasion in Sydney earlier in the week during a stop on the singer’s Nothing But Love world tour. “They rented a beautiful boat and took a four-hour cruise all around Sydney Harbor with Krissy’s friends, the dancers and family members,” adds the source. “That was the pre-birthday celebration. The cake at the concert was a complete surprise to Krissy. She had no idea!”

How sweet! Now this is one of the perks of having a DIVA as a mother … she can wish you a Happy Birthday unlike anyone else can. It looks like Bobbi Kris had herself a very special, really wonderful 17th birthday … thanks to her loving mother Whitney Houston. Love it!!

Yesterday we saw photos from Whitney Houston‘s “comeback” concert performance in Central Park, NYC which was taped live yesterday for airing on Good Morning America today. Taking a page from Madonna‘s playbook that says it’s cool to bring one’s daughter on stage during live performances, Whitney brought her daughter Bobbi Kristina onto the GMA stage with her to the delight of all her fans … behold:

It took nearly a decade, but Whitney Houston made her comeback to television in a four-song concert in Central Park broadcast on Good Morning America on Wednesday. “I’m overwhelmed,” Houston said after performing her opening number, “Million Dollar Bill,” written especially for her by Alicia Keys. “I love you all saying hello to me. I never left, I never left.” Wearing tight black pants and a tan trenchcoat over a grey blouse, the 46-year-old wowed a crowd of 5,000 who had waited hours to see the singer make her long-awaited return. She hadn’t been on television in seven years, and hadn’t made a major live appearance since 2004. “You never left,” GMA host Robin Roberts said during a break in the concert, which was prerecorded on Tuesday. “You can see the love here.” But Houston said it was the love she felt that brought her back – and that guaranteed that observers worried about her onetime drug use and personal problems need not have worried. “I was worried for you,” Diane Sawyer said. “Well, don’t be worried anymore,” Houston responded. Asked by Sawyer what brought her back to the stage after such a long absence, she answered, “My faith, the love and support of my fans, which I do have. That’s basically what it is.” Family was close in more than words – Houston serenaded her mother, gospel singer Cissy Houston, during “I Look to You,” the title track to her new album. During “My Love Is Your Love,” she proudly brought her 16-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina onstage to join her in singing. But the emotions – and interviews – that accompanied her comeback evidently fatigued the former concert-circuit stalwart. After four songs, Houston apologized to the audience and signed off. “I’m so sorry. I did Oprah. I’ve been talking for so long. … I talked so much, my voice,” she said. “I shouldn’t be talking. I should be singing.”

I watched Whitney‘s performances on GMA this morning and I have to say, I thought Diane Sawyer was really rude to say “I was worried for you” to Whitney‘s face. Yes, we were all worried but I don’t think it was the right time/place to bring up the matter … especially when Whitney is trying to make people forget about those dark days and focus on her comeback. I assume she and Bobbi were flying back to their home in Atlanta or mebbe NYC for a spell but they’ll be back in LA in no time. It’s GREAT having our dear Whitney back on the scene again. Whitney Houston and her daughter Bobbi Kristina were spotted making a grand arrival LAX Airport here in LA this weekend … Whitney looked very happy to be back in SoCal as she flashed her signature smile and Holla!ed to everyone in sight (much to her daughter’s chagrin, I’m sure):

Ah! I love Whitney Houston!! It’s great to see her back on the scene again — and looking relatively uncrazy, too! Mebbe she’s in town to work on that LONG-AWAITED comeback album we’ve been hearing about for the past couple of years? I really hope that is the case. She looks really happy to be photographed again … as am I! I’m also very thrilled that Bobby Brown is nowhere in sight. Woot!! More Whitney, please. Thanks!!
