Houston, Texas, might get a lot more tourists now because they are planning to design and unveil a monument in honor of Beyonce, who grew up there. Designing of a statue, highlighting Bey’s life and showcasing memorabilia from her career is said to have already begun. Well, apparently the gossipmongers have noticed it too … and that is where, I’m guessing, the following story came from. According to a new REPORT, Bey and Jay have decided who will be godparents to Blue Ivy. The supposed godparents are folks that could feasibly actually be godparents but I find it very hard to believe that B-Jay would ever let information like that get out so that anyone outside of their very trusted inner circle would hear. But … according to this new rumor, Blue Ivy‘s godparents are … revealed below.

Despite claims to the contrary, Beyoncé Knowles has remained completely silent since the birth of her firstborn child Blue Ivy earlier this month, refusing to give interviews to anyone about anything … until now. In the wake of yesterday’s sad news that legendary soul singer Etta James passed away, Beyoncé posted a special tribute message to Etta on her official website. As you may know, Bey portrayed Etta in the 2008 film Cadillac Records and the pair appeared together on the red carpet of the film’s premiere. Yesterday I blogged about a new interview with Beyoncé published by British Star magazine that is alleged to be the FIRST interview with the new mom since she gave birth a little over a week ago. Even as I shared the interview excerpts with all of you, I was VERY suspicious of the verity of the interview because it made NO SENSE to me that Beyoncé would give any interview to any publication this soon after giving birth. Today we learn from Beyoncé‘s press rep that the interview, unsurprisingly, is “completely made up” and is “absolutely not” real. Amazingly, Star magazine maintains that the interview is real because they “bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S.” … but I’m deffo gonna believe Beyoncé‘s press rep over a delusional British tabloid.
