It is with great love, great pride and a wee bit of sadness that I share with y’all the happy news that my beautiful goddaughter Princess Zakiya is celebrating her 6th birthday today. Love, pride and happiness because she is growing into a beautiful little lady … but wee sadness because she’s no longer my little baby. Princess Z will be staring the First Grade this Fall (!!!) and to celebrate her new maturity, she did a photoshoot with my friend Agnes Fischer of Bella Moon Photography in Dearborn, MI. David flew in from NYC late last night and got in early enough so that we would go out for a bite to eat at Mexicali before we crashed out for the night. Lord, we are so married old couple, it’s ridic. It’s great to have him here tho :) We’ll be heading off to Las Vegas this weekend before he flies back to NY and then on to Florida for Xmas and I head off to Detroit. And speaking of, Sarah sent me some proofs from a photoshoot that she and Mark did with their friend Agnes of Bella Moon Photography. Agnes shot some amazing photos of Sarah and Mark in their home for their holiday card … and I’m happy to share one of my fave pics right here:

They are so cute … I love that Agnes was able to capture their fun spirits. The pics are really great.

Not sure what’s going on tonight … I think David and I are gonna head out for a nice dinner and mebbe a movie? Not sure … but whatever we do, I’m glad we’ll be doing it together.
