Last month we learned the heartbreaking news that Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty had called off their extra-marital affair (for the second time in 6 months) and ended their almost year-long romantic fraternization … but apparently the break-up didn’t last. The couple were spotted together again in Southern Italy this weekend (the location of their first romantic tryst last year) and they were lookin’ awfully coupley together again. Yes, Balthazar is still technically married but … meh, it’s not like the couple really care much about that:

Sienna Miller has fallen back into the arms of Balthazar Getty — just a month after they split. The pair were spotted on a romantic holiday in southern Italy yesterday, and looked very much like they had put their break-up behind them. Sienna arrived in Positano with Balthazar’s mother on Friday. He didn’t appear until yesterday, when they took a boat together to Nerano — where they kissed and canoodled over an intimate lunch. They joined a group of family and friends for a meal at a restaurant called Lo Scoglio. But Sienna mustn’t have been satisfied by her menu choice, as she was spotted trying to eat Balthazar’s ear at the table. The group then made their way back to Positano — the same Italian town where a topless Sienna was first spotted kissing Balthazar on a yacht last year … Reports emerged last month that the couple had called time on their affair, and Sienna has said in interviews that she is still in love with old flame Jude Law. Make up your mind, love.

Old habits die hard, I suppose. It should be clarified that altho Getty is still married to his wife, I understand that they are now more formally separated so I guess Sienazar have that going for them. This reunion so soon after their break-up shouldn’t really come as a big surprise. The couple first “broke-up” last November before getting back together a few weeks later. After all this time, it’s clear that the couple can’t get enough of one another — mebbe they should just drop the pretense and get together officially. I’ve heard that some men marry their mistresses … this could be one of those success stories.

A bit of housekeeping/tying up of loose ends right now … for some UNGODLY reason I just read that Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty are dunzo for good. Apparently, the split was first reported last week and I clearly missed getting word. It makes sense that the couple would be on the outs … I understand that Sienna has set her sights on new conquest Josh Hartnett (who is single so, mebbe she’s wising up?) and I know that Balthazar spent part of this weekend with his children at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. To be honest, this is great news … Sienna needs to be with an unmarried man and Balthazar should be spending more time with his kids. I’m actually very glad that they are finally dunzo!

Gentlemen, start your engines. I can reveal Sienna Miller is young, free and single again after calling time on her ill-fated relationship with oil heir and Brothers & Sisters actor Balthazar Getty. A pal reveals: “Sienna loved being with Balthazar but there was too much baggage and she couldn’t commit to anything more than a few months. They are still good friends.” The pair began dating after they were introduced by Sienna’s Edge of Love co-star (and former beau) Matthew Rhys last May while Balthazar was nursing a new baby with then- wife Rosetta. Now Sienna is getting more and more friendly with Hollywood hunk Josh Hartnett. My moles tell me she flew to his bedside in New York when he got a bad tummy bug and nursed him back to health – and they chat all the time on the phone. My source reveals: “Josh and Sienna have a unique bond. They understand each other and I wouldn’t be surprised if a relationship blossomed.” Sienna’s aides will be thrilled by the break with Balthazar. The relationship led to her being branded a home-wrecker and is rumoured to have put an end to her role as Maid Marian in the new Robin Hood movie. The source adds: “She has a real chance of hitting the big time again.” But it’s not as if she needs that much help. The talented blonde is preparing for the release of GI Joe where she’s a leather-clad villain. Sienna tells me: “It’s going to be big for me. Then I’m off to Broadway, treading the boards.”

All of this being said, I’m not entirely ruling out the possibility of a reunion for Sienazar (after all this “pal” of a source isn’t really all that convincing) but it is encouraging that they do seem to be moving on to sunnier pastures. Despite the fact that Balthazar Getty’s behavior in his professional life has been affected by his behavior in his private life (namely his on-going extramarital affair with Sienna Miller) resulting in new reports that he will either have his role on the ABC drama Brothers and Sisters either greatly reduced to recurring character status or axed altogether, Getty appears to be happily carrying on with his lover Sienna Miller. According to sources, Balthazar Getty, who plays the Oscar winner’s eldest son, was informed last week that producers were not planning on picking up his option as a full-time series regular next season. However, that doesn’t mean that Tommy’s place setting at the Walker dinner table is being permanently removed. Not yet, anyway. Per a B&S source, Getty is currently in talks with the show to stay on in a reduced capacity, perhaps as a recurring guest star. While a rep for the show declined to comment, Getty’s spokesperson denies that the actor is leaving. Rumors about Getty’s possible exit have been grist for the gossip mill for months. The actor’s real-life drama — the collapse of his marriage and ensuing tabloid-ready romance with Sienna Miller — has allegedly alienated him from his co-stars, many of who had grown close to his wife, Rosetta, and their four young children. What’s more, according to E! Online’s Marc Malkin, Getty has been showing up late for work and proving increasingly “difficult” to work with. But per multiple sources, Getty’s sorta-departure is not the result of any one issue but a combination of factors that also includes budgetary and storyline considerations. Tommy has long been considered the most disposable of B&S’s siblings. Removing him, at least as a regular presence, frees up the show to introduce some new blood. In any case, don’t expect Tommy to exit by way of a casket. Although an ABC insider says the idea of killing off a Walker has been discussed, the network would likely view such a twist as “too morbid.” As a result, Tommy is likely to either relocate with his wife and baby, or just drift into the background and reappear for the occasional disastrous dinner party.

I mean, I suppose in this dire economic climate it is very easy to blame things like this on budgetary concerns but I can see how all these factors intermingling together might lead to Getty’s depature (in whatever fashion) from the show. I, too, have been hearing rumblings that Balthazar has been acting a bit shitty to his co-stars on set so … mebbe he just needs to leave the show — and mebbe run off with Sienna? Looks like he’s already got a head-start on that account. The couple have been hooking up about every month so I’m not at all surprised that they’ve jetted off together to Mexico. Looks like they’ll be ringing in the New Year together while sippin’ margaritas on the beaches of Mexico … which sounds like the perfect setting to take one’s mistress while leaving the wife and kids at home. Sound the trumpets! Ring the alarms! Sienna Miller tells US Weekly that the illicit extramarital affair that she has been having with the very-married Balthazar Getty for the past half-year or so is finally over. Talking to the mag at the Hollywood Dominoes: VIP Launch in London, England this weekend, Sienna confessed her singlehood … before she got snapped creepin’ out of the Automat club in the Mayfair District with a new guy later on that night. It looks like Sienazar are dunzo, y’all!

Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty have split, the actress tells Usmagazine.com. “I’m single at the moment, and I’m completely happy with that,” she said Friday at the Hollywood Dominoes: VIP Launch in London. “It’s nice not to have a relationship that the press constantly want to scrutinize and discuss. I’m cool with being on my own.” Miller and Getty’s romance first made headlines in July when Getty, 33 — who was married at the time — was photographed kissing a topless Miller, 26, on a boat in Italy. (Miller later sued two British newspapers and a photo agency for breach of privacy for publishing the steamy shots.) On July 21, the Brothers & Sisters star announced that he and wife Rosetta (with whom he has four children) were separated. “In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further,” he said. In August, Miller’s home in North London was vandalized with the word “slut.”

As you may recall, Sienazar were snapped sucking face on the streets of NYC about 2 weeks ago … mebbe that rendezvous was their last hurrah. BUT, we can’t be sad for Sienna … no sir … for it looks like she has already moved on to greener (well, newer) pastures. Later on in the night, after telling US Weekly that she was single I understand that she was spied chatting up Josh Hartnett (and must’ve struck out?) and was seen leaving the club with some unknown dude who was sucking on a lollipop:
