In April we learned that Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne had coupled up together … in May the couple finally went public with their lurve … this month, Bravil have taken the next step — their first vacation together. Brody and Avril popped up on a beach in Costa Rica lookin’ all kinds of coupley … behold:

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner are taking their romance international – cozying up on the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. The pop-punk princess and The Hills star were spotted on Friday cuddling on the beach and sending the already tropical temperatures soaring, even though Jenner was sporting some not so hot ‘Spam’ shorts. The couple have tried to keep their relationship on the down low, insisting they are ‘just friends’ but pictures speak louder than words – and as they are snapped making out and cuddling around the world it’s pretty hard to keep up the denials. Brody and Avril set the romance rumours in motion when they were first spotted dining together at Hollywood hotspot Koi on February 4th, following up with a PDA packed rendezvous at top club, Voyeur. And they have reportedly got matching tattoos – twice! Back in April the pair got matching ‘lighting bolt’ tattoos during a trip to Las Vegas, Avril on her forearm and Brody behind his ear. One month later, they rocked into Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club Tattoo Parlor in Hollywood where they got a matching F-word obscenity tattooed on their ribs. Nothing says I love you like a matching tattoo – especially a four-lettered one!

UGH … first matching tattoos (TWO sets of matching tattoos) and now international holidays together? This is really starting to sound serious. To be honest, I didn’t think these two were actually gonna make a go of it as a couple (not even after I heard about the tattoos … which, incidentally, is the kiss of death where couples are concerned) … but now that Bravril have taken their lurve international? They might actually be in it for the looooong haul. My gut still tells me they won’t last but … stranger things have happened. What do y’all think … is this true love for Bravril?

Okay … so maybe they’re not so much “flaunting” as they are just “walking side-by-side like any two people walking side-by-side together” but still … you just know they are SO together. As secretive as these two have been about their creepin’ around, I’m thinkin’ this is a signal that they are finally comfortable being seen together out and about. While I still think this is a very weird match, I wish them the best. I guess it was only a matter of time before Brody hooked up with a divorcée … right?

For a few weeks now there have been rumors going around that Avril Lavigne, who is in the process of divorcing her husband and Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley, has been creepin’ with Brody Jenner, star of The Hills. It would appear that those rumors are true since the couple were spotted sucking face in public this week. Now, just because two people are spotted in a steamy lip-lock doesn’t necessarily mean they are an actual item … but something tells me that these two might make a go at some sort of relationship. Rumored new couple, Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner were caught in the act – of kissing – Thursday night … The twosome, who have been keeping their hot new romance on the down low, were spotted cruising round the streets of Hollywood in a souped-up 1968 Dodge Charger R/T 440. As they pulled up behind a Hollywood tour bus Avril and Brody thought they’d grab a quick sneaky smooch, seemingly unaware of the paparazzi waiting in the dark to capture the moment. It’s been rumored that Avril and Brody have been dating since they were first spotted out together cozying up at trendy LA night-spot Industry, and now it seems there’s no denying it! Brody split with his girlfriend, Playboy playmate Jayde Nicole back last December while Avril recently filed for divorce from her husband, Sum 41 lead singer, Deryck Whibley.

Yesterday we learned from Life & Style magazine that married couple of 3 years, Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley, have split up and in the wake of that report comes official confirmation of the split from Ms. Lavigne herself. Avril posted a short message on her official website yesterday confirming the fact that she Deryck are separating … so bust out the sporks, y’all … cuz these two are really, truly dunzo:

Deryck and I have been together for 6 and a half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21. I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.

I guess I just don’t understand the need to be married at such a young age … even tho many people enjoy happy and successful marriages after marrying young, I can’t help but feel that your late teens/early 20s should be about personal discovery rather than settling down with one person in contractual matrimony. This is not to knock those who choose to marry young, I’m just saying that I don’t personally understand it. I cannot comment on the “regular folk” who get married young but I can comment on the young celebs who marry and it just always seems like a bad idea to me. Granted, Avril and Deryck “were together” for 6 1/2 years, she is now a divorcée at 24 … 24!!!! Well … I wish both Avril and Deryck the best of luck from here on out … mebbe their future marriages will be more successful.

Oh No!! Sad news to pass along today … according to US Weekly magazine, the fabled romance betwixt punk pop princess Avril Lavigne and punk pop punk Deryck Whibley has come to an end. The mag reports that the couple, who have been married for 3 years now, are splitsville after she decided to leave him. The couple are dunzo, y’all!

After three years of marriage, Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley have split, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue. “She dumped him and told him she was leaving him. She wants to move on,” a source tells the new Us Weekly, adding that Lavigne, 25, forced him out of their $9.5 million, 12,00-square-foot estate in L.A.’s Bel Air. “Divorce papers will be filed any day now.” Whibley, 29, “is crushed,” adds another insider. Lavigne’s rep could not be reached; Whibley’s rep had no comment.

I guess she finally decided to say, See ya l8r, Boi. It’s always sad when a couple breaks up but these two kids got married at a very young age. I’m actually surprised that they stayed together for 3 years. Gone are the days when couples who marry young stay committed to each other for the rest of their lives. Divorce is such an easy option these days, I don’t really believe that these young couples understand the full weight of a marriage commitment. Trust me, I’m not saying that people should stay married if they are no longer in love with one another … but I do think that marriage-happy celebs should seriously consider the bounds of matrimony before the say their I Dos. Ah well … another one bites the dust.

Yuck! When last Avril Lavigne‘s clothing line Abbey Dawn, which is sold at Kohl’s department stores here in the States, surfaced in public, it was inflicting its cruel torture on the good people of Japan at a fashion show in Harajuku, Tokyo last September. It pains me to report that Abbey Dawn has made its way back to the US and will be featured in a new ad campaign that is being shot here in SoCal this week. Here are a few photos of Avril wearing Abbey Dawn on the set of her latest promo ad photoshoot yesterday afternoon:

Yeesh … the clothes are pretty bad but WTF? is up with the beehive? It looks like Avril is getting some really, really bad styling advice from someone who appears to hate her. She looks so tragic … but, then again, I’m sure these threads are bringing her in quite a nice bit of change. In these trying economic times, I can’t blame her for capitalizing wherever she can. That said, she could try and class up the whole line, I think. The yellow outfit isn’t too wretched … she just needs to learn how to edit … and burn that beehive weave. Celebs of varying types and stature made their way out to the opening night party for Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge at the LA Live complex in downtown Los Angeles, CA last night for a little bowling fun … and my friends and I were fortunate enough to be able to attend as well. Here are a few pics of some of the celebs who came out to the newly constructed LA Live entertainment complex in downtown LA for the opening night shindig at the brand, spanking new Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge:

Lauren LC Conrad and Lauren Lo Bosworth were on hand at the event last night along with The Hills co-stars Stephanie Pratt and Frankie Delgado. The crew had their MTV cameras with them and they were filming but it remains to be seen if any of the footage will make it on to the show. Avril Lavigne and her hubby Deryck Whibley came out to bowl a few games as did Nicky Hilton and her siblings … Paris and Baron also came out for the event last night (tho they were not photographed). My friends (Steph, Alek, Darion) and I came out to enjoy some of the fun and we had a blast. Because the party was so packed (and Amanda Bynes and her friends were hogging our bowling lane) we didn’t get to play but we did get to eat and drink to our hearts’ content. The Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge at LA Live is phat, y’all … we’ve already decided to gather as many of our peeps for a little bowling fun there when the venue opens for biz in a couple of weeks.

It occurred to me that last night’s fun was the second time in one week’s time that I spent at a bowling alley. I wonder if the fates are trying to tell me something.

Last weekend new claims came to light that insisted that married couple Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley (of Sum 41) were headed for splitsville … so, to curb those reports, the couple stepped out arm in arm from Madeo restaurant here in LA last night — which clearly proves that the couple are still happily together:

Avril Lavigne and her rocker husband Deryck Whibley put on a united front for the press as they stepped out for dinner in Los Angeles on Monday amid rumours of a marriage split. The couple, who wed in 2006, was alleged to be on the verge of breaking-up, with the National Enquirer claiming Lavigne and Whibley “have been growing apart for months”. But the Sk8er Boi singer and the Sum 41 frontman defied critics when they emerged from Madeo restaurant on Monday night holding hands after enjoying a dinner date. Lavigne and Whibley have yet to confirm or deny the reports, and a spokesperson for the couple had yet to return requests for comment …

Why comment? Doesn’t hand-holding and eating out tell the tale? Whew, I now know that I can sleep soundly at night knowing these two are still happily attached. Who’s with me?

Avril Lavigne has officially thrown her hat into the fashion designer arena having just hosted her first Fashion Show in Harajuku, Tokyo (yes, it’s a place not just a Gwen Stefani song). Avril unveiled the latest designs for her Abbey Dawn line of sk8r punkette clothing at the local LaForet Mall where her line is sold … here are a few pics from the Abbey Dawn Fashion Show:

Last weekend we got our first look at Heidi Montag‘s new Club Collection from her Heidiwood for Anchor Blue clothing line and today we get our first look at another clothing line from another celeb-type person. Avril Lavigne has teamed up with Kohl’s to offer a line of clothing called Abbey Dawn that is “inspired” by Avril‘s fashion sensibility. Essentially, a line of faux punk clothes at affordable prices … just in time for your Back to School shopping needs. In fact, Kohl’s teamed up with a bunch of other musicians for other clothing lines inspired by those folks as well. Here are a few pieces from Avril‘s Abbey Dawn line:
