The make a cute little family … well, pretend family that is. I understand that during Elton’s performance, he dedicated the song Tiny Dancer to Reese Witherspoon. Ain’t that just the most precious thing you’ve ever heard?

Last month it was Reese Witherspoon’s turn to take her young son Deacon Reese to his Little League baseball games but this month, the duty falls to his father Ryan Phillippe. While Reese’s new man, Jake Gyllenhaal, has yet to attend one of Deacon’s baseball games, Ryan’s new lady, Abbie Cornish, has not made that same mistake. Here are pics of Ryan and Abbie with Ryan’s children Deacon and Ava Elizabeth at the ballpark in Brentwood, CA yesterday:

While it really sucks that the Witherppe kids have to be juggled between their divorced parents, it’s encouraging to see that all parties involved in the young children’s lives take part in their extracurricular activities. I understand that GyllenSpoon are currently in NYC so that means that Rabbie will be here in SoCal taking care of the kiddies for a while (which is only fair since Reese was taking care of the kids while Ryan was in the South of France for the Cannes Film Festival last month). Divorce is never easy for the kids but at least the couple formerly known as Witherppe seem to be making the best of things.

After a bit of motorcycle ridin’ here in SoCal yesterday, Ryan Phillippe picked up his daughter Ava Elizabeth from school like the dutiful good dad that he is. Ryan was all decked out in a white tank-top shirt that allowed him to show off his muscley arms as they glistened in the hot California sun:

As you can see, Ryan used every opportunity to flex his arms after he noticed that he was being photographed. He was all, Oh, I have to flex my bulging biceps as I take off this backpack. Hahahaha! Love. It. Ain’t Summertime grand? When the temps soar the clothes come off … it’s my fave time of the year.

Here are a couple of really cute pics of Ryan Phillippe and his ladylove Abbie Cornish spending a lovely afternoon with his children Ava and Deacon in Brentwood, CA earlier this week:

I can’t be entirely certain but I believe this is one of (if not the) first times that Rabbie were spotted out and about with the Witherppe children. We’ve seen many photos of Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal with the kids and now it’s Rabbie’s turn. Up until now, GyllenSpoon has enjoyed the lion’s share of the time with the kids so clearly Rabbie now feel up to the task … and I say, it’s about time! Little Deacon was all dolled up for one of his karate classes and I understand that Abbie took Ava to a flower class (whatever that is). It would appear that things are serious for both Ryan and Reese with their new partners, especially since everyone is now spending time with the children. While I’m still lamenting the dunzoness of Witherppe, I’m happy to see that they each have moved on happily and that the kids seem to be doing OK in the middle.

Now that Reese Witherspoon and her children Ava and Deacon are back home from their little European jaunt with Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Phillippe has been reunited with his kiddies. Here are a couple cute pics of Ryan taking his kids out for a stroll at The Grove in LA yesterday afternoon:

Granted, these pics could be a might cuter if Ryan were paying more attention to his children rather than to his mobile phone but he does make a pretty good mother duck. I’m impressed with the way that Reese and Ryan handle custody of their children … they each seem to spend a lot of equal time with their kids, which may not be ideal but is better than nothing at all.

There are a few adorable pics of Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava enjoying the Bastille Day fireworks display near the Eiffel Tower making the rounds online where Ava was able to enjoy a pretty nice view of the fireworks up on Jake’s shoulders … click HERE to check them out. That’s a damn lucky little girl, yes? But while the “family” was all smiles at the fireworks display, it was a bit of a different story the next day when Jake accompanied the kiddies, both Ava and Deacon, on a stroll on the streets of Paris … clearly, Jake had more important things to do than pay any attention to Reese’s kids:

Hee hee … you will note that Reese isn’t with Jake and the kids sooo mebbe he wasn’t interested in feigning interest in them? Nah … I’m sure he was just checking up on important emails for a quick second and wasn’t totally ignoring her kids at all :)

It’s unclear how much longer GyllenSpoon are planning to be in Paris but I think it’s about time they wrapped up their holiday and went back to the UK — Jake has important training to undertake for his next movie role. He shouldn’t be playing house when he’s got work to do.

Jake Gyllenhaal, who finally showed off his longer hair earlier this week, has surfaced in Paris, France with his ladylove Reese Witherspoon and her children Ava and Deacon this weekend after the group spent some time in the UK last week. Here are a few pics of Jakey poo wearing a skull cap presumably to keep his new hair’do under cover:

Boo … I mean, Jake looks great (as usual) but I wish he would stop covering up his longer hair. It’s a great look for him, I’d like to see as much of it as possible. AND … since I mentioned that Reese and her kiddies are with Jake in Paris, here are a few pics of them making their way into their hotel:

I must admit, they all make a cute little “family” but I can’t help but still feel like it’s not right. Jake is hanging out with Ryan Phillippe’s family, not one of his own. I get that Witherppe is totally dunzo and that they need to move on with other people (Ryan seems happily attached with Abbie Cornish) but I don’t think I’ll ever get used to Jake with Reese and Ryan’s family.
