Yesterday we saw the first photos of actress Anne Hathaway in character as Selina Kyle on the Pittsburgh, PA set of the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Those photos came one day after we got our first official look at Anne in costume as Catwoman in the film. Today we get to see Anne being her usual Anne self as she walks her dog in between filming takes. Click below to see the new Catwoman walking her … dog.

Yesterday, we got our first look at actress Anne Hathaway in costume as Catwoman as she will appear in the upcoming Christopher Nolan-directed sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Based on that first look, many folks (me included) had many things to say about this new incarnation of the iconic character. Today, we get our first look at Anne in costume as Selina Kyle (Catwoman‘s secret identity) as she films scenes for TDKR in Pittsburgh, PA. While Catwoman was leather-clad in black, Selina — naturally — makes her first on set appearance in all white. Additionally, Warner Bros. has released a second official promo photo of the new Catwoman. Check out all the photos below.

Back in May, we got our first official look at actor Tom Hardy in costume as the villainous Bane as he will look in the upcoming superhero sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Ever since we got that first look at Bane (as well as subsequent photos of the character from the set of the film), fans (including myself) have been itching to get our first look at actress Anne Hathaway in costume as Catwoman. Today, the official website for the film has been updated with the first official photo of Hathaway in costume as Catwoman … and she looks … interesting. Click below to see for yourselves.

Batman: The Dark Knight Rises is currently in filming production in the UK and today we get to see some minorly spoilery spy video footage from the set. An intrepid Batman fan managed to video record footage of the film’s Wayne Manor that appears to show stars Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne) holding hands with Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle). At this point, it is not known exactly what kind of relationship Bruce and Selina will have in the film but it’s clearly a friendly one … at least, in this scene. Click below to check out the video.

After hosting what has been called the “worst Academy Awards” of all time, Anne Hathaway appeared on The Today Show earlier today to open up about the tough criticism she faced as the youngest Oscar host in history. Anne was on the show to promote her new animated film Rio and when the topic turned to the skewering she and co-host James Franco received for their Oscars hosting duties, she was very frank about how difficult the harsh criticism has been for her.

Remember that weird, soundless, dreamy video that James Franco posted on his Twitter profile that seemed to show him and Anne Hathaway in a parody of Grease? Well, if you watched the Academy Awards telecast on Sunday night you did NOT see that skit in the opening of the show. But, right now we get to see the parody in full … and based on the lyrics alone, I can see why it was cut from the Oscars telecast.

And so … the 83rd annual Academy Awards have been handed out, bringing to a close another long awards season. Despite efforts to make the Oscars telecast a “young and hip” affair, this year’s show — IMHO — ended up feeling “old and boring” as usual. BUT, there were some very well-deserved awards handed out last night, tho not many surprises. The biggest award went to The King’s Speech, a British film that ended up with 4 Oscars in total. Inception, which really hasn’t won any major awards all awards season long, tied The King’s Speech with 4 Oscars. The Social Network, once considered a front-runner for Best Picture, ended up with only 3 awards — but one of those Oscars went to my boy Trent Reznor and his collaborator Atticus Ross for Best Original Score. For me, this was an Oscars to remember … but only for Reznor‘s win and not much else.

We are just hours away from the 83rd annual Academy Awards — THE biggest awards show of the year — and the last minute touches are being handled right now as the clock ticks down to show time. This year, the Oscars are really hoping to attract a much younger audience as opposed to merely the traditional, older set. This became very obvious when they decided to get Anne Hathaway and James Franco to host. This year’s show promises lots of fun new stuff … but will it work? I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Right now we get to see a new promo video of Anne doing her best Eva Peron in a classic scene from the movie/musical Evita.
