AnnaLynne McCord was spotted on the streets of SoCal yesterday filming new scenes for an upcoming episode of 90210. As I understand it, AnnaLynne‘s character Naomi falls in love with a geek and decides to try and impress him by dressing as a Na’vi character from Avatar … which is what ANY rich, beautiful and popular girl would do if she were trying to nab a nerd, right?

Despite the fact that we heard last week that on-again off-again couple AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz had broken up, the pair were spotted making their way out of a cheap motel in Studio City, CA early yesterday lookin’ very much like their secret rendezvous got busted by the paparazzi. As you can see, Kellan and AnnaLynne went to great lengths to try and keep this tryst a secret … AnnaLynne even went so far as to wear a cheap wig and sunglasses as a disguise:

LMAO!! So busted. To be honest, I don’t get what the big secret is about … the couple have been dating for a while, they break-up they make-up and then they break-up again … and now they’re sneaking around in cheap motels? It’s just so … funny. Look, if this is what it takes to keep their romantic affiliation spicy, then more power to them. I just hope AnnaLynne will invest in better looking wigs if she’s gonna keep creepin’ around like this.

90210 star AnnaLynne McCord spent part of her weekend chillin’ with her beloved sister Angel in Hermosa Beach, CA and was spotted having a grand ol’ time playing beach volleyball with some friends. Aware of the ever-present photogs, AnnaLynne put on a bit of a show for the cameras, doing her best to flaunt what her mama gave her:

No one ever said that AnnaLynne McCord was a shy girl. While I think it would behoove the young actress to put on a bit more weight, I cannot deny that she looks fab. It’s cool that instead of shying away from the cameras she decided to have fun with them. I still love watching 90210 and I can’t help but love McCord‘s character Naomi on the show. I hear that she is a lot of fun to hang out with in real life, too. It might be a good idea to scope out the beaches here in SoCal this Summer … you never know if you might bum-p into her sometime.

Well, well now … it would seem that once-lovebirds who broke up sometime ago are back together again in lurve. AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz were an item a couple of years ago (right around the time they both made their debuts on 90210, before Twilight opened in theaters) but not long after they split and went their separate ways. It would seem that the couple have rekindled that lost love considering they were spotted jetting off together at LAX Airport this weekend:

Now, I’m gonna take a WILD STAB IN THE DARK and guess that AnnaLynne (who I understand did the dumping before) got an eyeful of the very hot Calvin Klein Underwear campaign that Kellan is featured in and she had a change of heart. I mean … wouldn’t you? AnnaLynne would be wise to hang on this hunky hunk of hunk from here on out. No word on where the lovebirds jetted off to … but I’m sure they’ll show up somewhere. Let’s hope they went somewhere tropical so that we might get a gander of Kellan in some shorty shorts on the beach ;) What do y’all think of these two together? Do they make a good match?

Celebs of varying degree of fame made their way out to the Kodak Theater last night for the taping of the 2009 CNN Heroes television special that will air on CNN on Thanksgiving and will honor “ordinary people” selected for their “extraordinary impact” this past year. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals of some of the celebs who attended last night and some deets from the taping:

Kate Hudson, Pierce Brosnan, Neil Patrick Harris and other stars who are used to getting applause were giving it gladly at a ceremony honoring people who make a difference in the lives of others. “I’ve cried twice and we’re on hero three,” Harris said backstage after introducing one of the 10 “CNN Heroes” celebrated Saturday by the TV news network for their efforts to fight poverty, disease and other problems. “There are so many awards shows every year for the Hollywood community that participating in something as effective as this makes those others feel inconsequential” and provides perspective, said Harris, star of CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” and recent Emmy Awards host. The top CNN Hero of the Year and a grant of $100,000 went to a young man who embraced education for himself and other Filipinos as an escape from poverty. He and the other honorees received $25,000 each. As a child, Efren Penaflorida picked school over gang life in Cavite City and vowed to create a way for other children to make the same choice. He created a program that brings books to children in slums and on the streets, and the 10,000 members of his Dynamic Teen Co. have brought reading, writing and hygiene to 1,500 youngsters. “My message to children of all races, please, to embrace learning and love it for it will embrace and love you back and enable you to change your world,” said Penaflorida, now a 21-year-old college graduate. “Each person has a hidden hero within, just have to look inside you and search it in your heart and be the hero the next one in need,” he said in accepting the top honor. Brosnan, honoring a woman who started an anti-breast cancer project, created one of the evening’s most emotional moments as he recalled his late wife’s failed battle against the disease. She was a “magnificent mother, a wonderful actor,” he said of Cassandra Harris, who died of ovarian cancer in 1991. “There are too many of us who have lost someone to this brutal disease called cancer, and we are all sick and tired of cancer winning,” he said in introducing breast cancer survivor Andrea Ivory, who runs a mobile mammography project in Miami that provides free screenings. The pair posed backstage for photos, Ivory glamorous in a gown with an oversized pink bow — symbolic of the ribbons that mark the breast cancer battle. “Stunning,” Brosnan said, smiling broadly as cameras focused on her. “You make me nervous,” Ivory replied, but Brosnan would have none of it. “You’re the star,” he said. CNN anchor Anderson Cooper hosted the Kodak Theatre ceremony that was attended by about 4,000 people and will air on CNN at 9 p.m. EST Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, and on CNN International and CNN en Espanol. Leona Lewis, Carrie Underwood and Maxwell performed, and other presenters included Nicole Kidman and George Lopez.

This is such a great event, I’m so glad that so many celebs are interested in participating in honoring everyday folk who give so generously of their time, energy and money to help others in need. I also love how classy this event is … black tie looks good on so many people. Love and congrats goes out to CNN‘s honorees this year … make sure you tune in on Thanksgiving night to see who was honored this year.

AnnaLynne McCord, who currently stars as the bitchy Naomi on The CW series 90210, was spotted enjoying a beach birthday party yesterday in celebration of her 22nd year of life. AnnaLynne partied up with her sisters Angel and Rachel along with a gaggle of friends … here are a few pics:

As far as I’m aware, none of AnnaLynne‘s 90210 castmates made it out for the shindig … but it really didn’t matter cuz AnnaLynne seemed quite happy to frolic and play with her sisters. I assume there was a birthday cake on the premises but there was no indication that it was eaten … at least, not by AnnaLynne. In any event, it appears that a fun time was had by all! Happy Birthday, AnnaLynne!

It is time again for People magazine to release their annual 100 Most Beautiful People issue and this year they have selected actress and breast cancer survivor Christina Applegate to grace the cover of the issue. Christina herself credits her man Martyn Lenoble for her beauty and talks about how his love for her is what makes her beauty shine. She has an “angel” of a boyfriend, Dutch bass player Martyn Lenoble, “who loves me from head to toe.” She has a cozy Malibu beach house that she calls “the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.” And, after a very public battle with breast cancer that has given her a gratifying “feeling of purpose,” Christina Applegate has a new lease on life. “I used to be really shy but I started to come into my own in my late 20s and early 30s,” Applegate, 37, tells PEOPLE in the cover interview for the annual Most Beautiful issue – her first interview since her reconstructive breast surgery last November. “Now I’m not afraid to speak up in a room full of people and be a part of the conversation.” The Samantha Who? star says she’s finding balance and embracing her body after undergoing a double mastectomy in July. “You have to get through the physical transformations then buck up, go to work and try to be the normal, happy Christina for everyone around you,” she says. One source of strength has been Lenoble. “He’s been a friend for about 13 years,” Applegate says. “Our relationship gets stronger and stronger. I’m really lucky.” And, more importantly, he makes the actress feel “beautiful” about her new body. “I’m very grateful to Martyn for coming along at a time that he did because he’s been my rock through all of this,” Applegate says. “He gave me something to really want to live for and something to smile about.”

Considering the life-changing effect that enduring a double mastectomy has on a woman, I am very impressed with Christina’s attitude about her beauty (which is on full display in this issue of People magazine). I, for the life of me, cannot imagine what it must be like to survive a bout with cancer so my hat is off to her in that respect. I suppose congrats are in order for being named by People magazine as one of the 100 Most Beautiful People. Blaurgh. Last night was a lot of fun and I’m still paying for it this afternoon. I swear, I’m never drinking again … ever. But fun was had last night … for sure. After I dropped off David at the airport, I met up with my friend Johnny for a quick cameo at a TMZ party at Red Rocks on Sunset. I really love the TMZ crew … they are the coolest bunch of people and it’s always a good time seeing them out in social situations. Because they all work so hard (pretty much 24/7), it’s rare to see them socially but when there is a TMZ party, it’s deffo a party. After spending some time there, Johnny and I made our way to Bar Marmont at the Chateau Marmont to attend the I Heart Ronson party to celebrate Charlotte Ronson‘s new clothing line for JC Penney. Mark Ronson and the Version Players provided the live music and Samatha Ronson provided the party tunes after … it was a really fun event:

I managed to avoid running into Pug Dilton but I did get to chat with Nicole Richie for a bit. Her bump is getting so big! It looks much bigger in person than it does in pictures. Mark Ronson killed it on stage and Johnny and I had a blast.

But our night was over yet … after the Ronson event, we made our way to Fubar to get our drink on … and boy, did we ever. I haven’t gotten that loaded in a very long time … I mean, it was fun at the time but UGH I’m so paying for it now. I had plans to go with Darion and Kirsten to Disneyland today but, alas, the trip got scrapped cuz of my near deathness. We’re gonna try and do dinner and a movie later. Blah, we’ll see.

Joined by his Twilight co-star Edi Gathegi (who was, incidentally, also celebrating his birthday this weekend) and his 90210 co-star and girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord, Twilight and New Moon star Kellan Lutz celebrated his birthday at Privé nightclub inside the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV this weekend with all the pomp and circumstance that Sin City has to offer. Since we saw photos of Kellan with his Twilight cohorts on the Vancouver, Canada set of The Twilight Saga: New Moon earlier this week, we now know that there’s always room to play even when there is work to be done. Kellan, Eli and AnnaLynne convened in LV to celebrate together while taking a brief respite from vampire movie making. Vampires can’t be all about work, now, can they? Happy Birthday, Kellan & Eli … now get back to work.

First we heard rumors that Vanessa Hudgens was interested, then we learned that Dakota Fanning is definitely interested … and now we get word that 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord is the latest member of Young Hollywood lookin’ to join the cast of the Twilight sequel movie New Moon:

Another 90210-er may be making a stop in the Twilight zone. I’m hearing that filmmakers have been considering the idea of casting 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord as Heidi in the upcoming New Moon, the much-anticipated sequel to Twilight. Heidi isn’t a major character in the book, but McCord definitely has the gorgeous looks to pull it off. The character is a “fisher” who brings humans to the Volturi vampires to eat. She’s also known as “bait” because of the way she uses her stunning looks to attract humans. In her brief appearance in the book, Bella describes Heidi as having “exceptional, unforgettable” beauty. She has stunning legs, long hair and violet eyes. Sources tell me McCord has auditioned for the role. “It’s not a big part,” one of the sources said. “Heidi would be more like a cameo.” McCord should feel pretty comfortable on the set. Her 90210 costar Kellan Lutz—and rumored real-life boyfriend—played Emmett in Twilight and will return for the sequel. McCord’s rep did not immediately comment nor did a rep for the studio, Summit Entertainment. Director Chris Weitz is expected to start shooting the flick with Robert Pattinson & Co. next month in Vancouver and Italy with a Nov. 20 release date. Summit has yet to make any major new casting announcements for New Moon.

Yeah, it sounds like pretty much everyone wants to jump on board the Twilight bandwagon these days. It makes sense that McCord might get the cameo role in the film … she does have a strong connection with Kellan Lutz (AnnaLynne‘s rumored boyfriend and 90210 co-star who plays Emmett Cullen) and I suspect that might help her secure the role. I’m very curious to know who might get cast in the more high profile new roles in New Moon. Folks in Hollywood know a hot commodity when they smell one (kinda like how sharks can smell blood in the water) … I just hope that the rabid frenzy to get attached to the coming Twilight films won’t adversely affect the product of the films along the way. Personally, I think the strong desire by pretty much everyone to secure roles in New Moon will help the film’s success in the long run. Of course, we’ll have to see if the powers that be exercise good judgment when the decide to dole out the big parts. I guess we shall see.
