Amy Winehouse, our fave little trainwreck, got herself into a bit of trouble recently when she tried to host a dinner party in her temporary new home of St. Lucia in the Caribbean. Apparently, Amy ended up scalding the flesh off her leg while attempting to cook for her friends … and her injury is plainly evident in this new photo of her taking a walk on the beach this week:

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has landed herself in hot water – she has suffered severe scalds after a cooking blunder. The star decided to hold a dinner party for her pals on the Caribbean isle of St. Lucia, where she has spent much of the last four months working on a new album. But trouble began brewing in the kitchen after a huge pan of boiling water full of pasta fell from the cooker, dousing the Rehab hitmaker in scalding water. She has since been snapped with burns on her legs, and has left fellow holidaymakers aghast by failing to cover and care for her injuries. A fellow tourist tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “Amy’s wounds looked so painfully sore – she really should cover them up or get herself under an umbrella. “They were covered in sand too. We couldn’t believe she wasn’t keeling over in pain.” But the star’s spokesman insists the wounds aren’t as bad as they look: “She’s not in a lot of pain, she’s just letting it breathe.”

Seriously, Amy Winehouse should not be allowed to be near any sharp implements, anything to do with fire or in the presence of hazardous materials. I mean, hello, the girl is a walking disaster waiting to occur. While she has been doing much better since relocating to St. Lucia, she is still LIGHT YEARS away from being out of the woods. The latest report is that she is contemplating adopting a child of her own … which is just a terrible idea. She can’t even keep herself out of harm’s way. Ack and I don’t care what she says … her burn looks like it hurts like hell. No more cooking for Amy, I’m afraid … clearly she can’t even be trusted with something as simple as boiling water. OY!

Amy Winehouse, who is reportedly in the market to adopt a child from the Caribbean paradise island of St. Lucia, was spotted enjoying a walk on the beach all by her lonesome this weekend. You will note from these new photos that Amy was smoking one of those famous “hand-rolled” cigs all the while. HMMM. Do you suppose that this kind of behavior might ensure that no court in their right mind would give Amy Winehouse a child?

Amy Winehouse is planning to adopt a St Lucian child after telling friends that she wants to make the Caribbean island her permanent home. The 25-year-old singer now apparently sees herself as the ‘Angelina Jolie of St Lucia’ and wants to help poor and underprivileged children. “Amy is seriously thinking about adopting,” says my source. “But she is aware it’s going to be incredibly difficult with her background.” The news comes just a few weeks after it was revealed that her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil had made a woman pregnant at a Sheffield rehabilitation clinic. Adds the source: “Amy’s gutted about Blake becoming a dad and moving on so quickly. She has always wanted to be a mother. She loves St Lucia and would move there for good in order to adopt.” Her spokesman said: “Amy was talking about adopting in the context of looking after children on the island, perhaps through some kind of music and education-based project.”

Um, no. While Amy can smoke whatever she likes, I find it HIGHLY unlikely that she will be allowed to care for children in any context. She really needs to focus on taking care of herself before she can even being to think about taking care of someone else.

Amy Winehouse is spending this lovely Easter weekend on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia lookin’ happy and healthy, far away from the drama and temptations of Londontown. But, it turns out, that she may have one little care that she needs to be aware of. A woman named Gilleen Morris is claiming to have had an illicit sexual affair with Amy’s soon-to-be ex-hubby Blake Fielder-Civil while the two of them were in rehab … and now she claims that she is pregs with his love child:

The news could wreck love rat Blake’s plan to grab half his rock star wife’s £10 million fortune in a divorce settlement. Gilleen Morris, 31, told how the child was conceived in REHAB and confessed: “Blake seduced me and we had a secret fling. “When I told him I was pregnant he said, ‘Oh fuck!’ But he vowed to stand by me and raise the child.” Gilleen admitted she was stunned at Blake’s reaction when she revealed this week she was carrying his baby after their secret sex sessions. Choking back tears she said: “Initially I was planning to have an abortion but Blake’s vow has completely thrown me. “I never planned for any more children. Our fling was just a bit of fun. I never imagined these consequences. “I’m now confused and don’t know what to do.” Whatever she decides, Gilleen’s bombshell revelations will seriously damage Blake’s efforts to bank £5 million of singer Amy’s fortune in their bitter divorce battle. For the 27-year-old hypocrite hubby has been compiling a case against his estranged wife on the grounds of HER infidelity. The News of the World revealed how furious Blake-jailed last July for assault and perverting justice-launched proceedings after seeing pictures of Amy snogging actor Josh Bowman on holiday in St Lucia. Since then Blake’s lawyers have been secretly negotiating a settlement out of court, with his mum Georgette branding Amy “a cheat” and “a trollop”, at the same time insisting her son was faithful. But today’s news that his secret lover is six weeks’ pregnant will throw the Fielder Civil divorce team in turmoil. Jobless heroin addict Gilleen of Northallerton, North Yorkshire, revealed how shamed jailbird Blake has already CONFESSED their fling to mum Georgette. He WANTS her involved in the pregnancy while he battles his drug dependencies ready BRING UP the baby himself. Blake has also begged Gilleen to avoid drugs for the sake of his unborn child’s health. “I was surprised how supportive he was,” said Gilleen. “I don’t think he’d say he’ll stand by me if he didn’t mean it. And if Amy wants to be a stepmum I wouldn’t mind, as long as she steered clear of drugs and self-harming. It’s also lovely that Blake’s mum wants to go with me to the hospital. It’s a nice gesture, but it will be nerve-racking meeting her for the first time, let alone explaining how this happened.”

Oh my! Now this is a sticky wicket for young Master Fielder-Civil. Should it turn out that he did, in fact, father this child out of wedlock I find it highly unlikely that he will be in any position to be asking for any substantial sum from his divorce from Amy. It seems to me that it would be best for Amy to stay her ass in St. Lucia, out of trubs and away from all of this drama, so that she can continue to get her life in order. Blake, well, he should prolly tend to his new baby if it turns out to be his. OY!!

After enjoying a very relaxing 2-month holiday on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia earlier this year, Amy Winehouse has returned to the island she called her temporary home to begin work on her third album. Amy was scheduled to perform at the Coachella Music Festival here in SoCal in a few weeks but because she is currently on trial for assault in the UK, her visa was rejected and she has been barred from entering the US until her legal woes are finalized. As a result, Amy has decided to set her sights back on the tropical island she loves so dearly to regroup … here are a few pics:

Amy Winehouse has reportedly jetted back to the Caribbean Island of St Lucia to focus on writing her highly anticipated 3rd album. The news comes after reports that her record company had rejected songs for her Back To Black follow up for being too ‘reggae-influenced’. It’s thought she will spend the next few weeks in St Lucia working with Salaam Remi, who produced her first album Frank. The Rehab singer has clearly grown fond of the paradise island after spending a well publicised 2 months over there earlier this year. It is also being reported that she is looking to buy a home on the island and will be viewing a property called Firefly Villa which boasts 2.4 acres of private land.

The woman may still be a hot mess but at least she’s much less of a hot mess than she used to be … thanks to the healing powers of paradise island. I really think Amy should just live there permanently … her life is much less frantic and she appears to thrive there. When she’s in London, it seems like the temptations that surround her are too great to ignore and I fear the poor woman will succumb to the tragic life she used to live before she cleaned herself up in St. Lucia. Amy’s return to the tropics is prolly the best thing for her right now. Stay put, Amy. You have a much better chance of surviving your 20s if you chill out for a while.

What a difference as Bahamian vacation makes … just a few weeks after returning from her extended 2-month holiday on the island of St. Lucia (where it is rumored that she cleaned up her act significantly), Amy Winehouse showed up at court today lookin’ absolutely fabulous in her nice floral-print dress in order to plead not guilty to charges that she assaulted a fan last year. Now, irregardless of whether or not she did the assaulting or not, homegirl is a whole different person these days … a bathed one! That alone is cause for celebration. Amy Winehouse made a typically bizarre appearance at court today as she denied assaulting a fan at a charity ball. The singer, looking tanned and healthy in a tight floral minidress, blew kisses to the huge media pack and grabbed her chest as she sashayed into the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court. She spoke loudly to confirm her date of birth and her name, which she gave as Amy Jade Civil – her married name. Winehouse, 25, is charged with punching dancer Sherene Flash at the ball in Berkeley Square last September. Ms Flash, 30, is said to have asked her for a photo and while the star initially agreed, she then allegedly lashed out. Winehouse is then said to have fled the star-studded event crying: “Life can’t go on.” Her solicitor Mark Haslam excused Winehouse’ s late appearance at the court, blaming problems during her journey and saying she had left her Barnet home at 8.15am. Her case was adjourned for trial on 23 July. Winehouse, who was granted unconditional bail, left the court, pulling down her dress and giving a wiggle as she went. Wearing high heels and platform soles, Winehouse then appeared to stumble as she was ushered into a side room to speak to her lawyer. She was greeted by a scrum of photographers and press when she walked out of the court in Horseferry Road, where police officers and her own security staff helped her into a waiting people carrier. Asked how she was feeling, she said: “I’m all right, thanks.”

Awww … can’t we just cut her a break and wipe the slate clean? It’s very obvs that she is trying to clean up her life, I say we give the poor mess a second chance. Because of this legal tussle (which may or may not get settled out of court before her trial begins in July), Amy has been denied a visa to come to the US to perform at Coachella — hasn’t she suffered enough? OK, prolly not … but I’d hate to see her fall off the wagon, as it were, and revert to her old reckless ways. I don’t recall Amy lookin’ this healthy in ages. Let’s hope she keeps it up. Yesterday we saw photos of Amy Winehouse’s tearful return to London, England after spending an extended 2-month vacation on the Caribbean isle of St. Lucia … and it would seem that she is already missing the warm Caribbean sun. Amy appears to be the proud new owner of a Body Bronze sunbed of her very own … here are a few photos of her new toy being delivered to her London home:

LOL! Well, they may not have much sun in the UK but that shouldn’t stop Amy from having the sun imported into her home. Amy did a bit of horseback riding while she was in St. Lucia, I wonder if she’s lookin’ to procure a new horse of her own as well. She also spent a lot of time in the company of a very hawt dude … might he be delivered to her London home sometime soon? Clearly, Amy is lamenting being away from St. Lucia … but you gotta love that she’s trying to hang on for as long as possible.

As they say, all good things must come to an end … such is the case for the extended Caribbean holiday that Amy Winehouse has been enjoying on the isle of St. Lucia. After one last horseback riding excursion on her last day in paradise …

Amy Winehouse jetted back to London this morning after her two month ‘holiday’ in St Lucia. The troubled singer arrived at London’s Gatwick Airport looking distressed and jetlagged after the nine hour flight. In contrast to the shorts, bikini top and naturally curly hair Amy had been sporting in the Caribbean, the star was back in her London pop star guise in skin jeans, ballet shoes and her signature beehive and heavy eyeliner. Her miserable appearance at Gatwick comes just hours after she was photographed happy and smiling in the Caribbean sun as she larked around in a pair of flippers. Amy’s return to Britain comes just days after her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil was released from jail. The 25-year-old singer is said to want to give their marriage another try, despite the former music video assistant insisting divorce proceedings are still going ahead. His mother Georgette Civil said Blake has been “hurt and humiliated” by Amy and claims she cheated on him twice during his spell behind bars. Georgette tells The People: “He feels very let down by his wife and he’s proceeding with a divorce, Amy has behaved like a trollop. Since his release there has been no contact. Blake realised the marriage was doomed some time ago and I don’t believe Amy will get round him now. I never want him to go back to her. It would be bad news. He’s divorcing her because she cheated on him and the sooner the marriage is over the better.” Amy is alleged to have cheated on Blake twice – with her manager’s former assistant Alex Haines last year and with aspiring actor Josh Bowman in St Lucia over Christmas. In an interview last month, Amy admitted she had ‘forgotten’ she was even married. She said: “Our whole marriage was based on drugs anyway. He looks like me – a right mess. Almost every time I slept with him it was like I was dead.” After Amy was photographed cuddling up to handsome Josh, 21, she admitted she had a romance with him. Shortly after Amy was pictured with Josh, Blake started divorce proceedings on the grounds of adultery. Her father Mitch Winehouse said: “I had to call Amy before she heard about it from someone else. She asked me, ‘Daddy, why does he want to divorce me?’ I said, ‘You know I don’t like him, but I have to admit that your behaviour with another man is not what marriage is all about.’” Georgette has denied reports Blake is now dating German model Sophie Schandorff, 22, after she was spotted with him outside a Suffolk prison last week. Sophie has been a regular visit to Blake in prison and often attended his court hearings when Amy wasn’t there. Georgette insisted Sophie and Blake were just close friends, saying: “Blake’s been a bad lad when it comes to drugs but he hasn’t once cheated on Amy. But he’s not got another woman – absolutely not. The last thing he wants right now is another relationship. All Amy’s done is cause him grief” … Speaking about his impending divorce from Amy, Blake said: “It’s all going ahead – but I don’t really know what will happen. It’s just nice to be on the outside again. Now I am going to get over my drug habit.” Amy and Blake married in Florida in May 2007, just weeks after she dumped live-in boyfriend Alex Claire. After Blake’s arrest in November, it means the couple have spent just six months of their 21 month marriage together.

Blah! I had hoped that the poor dear had gotten rid of those soiled and nasty-lookin’ ballet flats … coupled with the beehive and the thick eye make-up, it really looks as if Amy Winehouse never left her crazy life in London at all. While I doubt she was a saint while she was away in St. Lucia, it really looked to me as if she were getting her life back in order. I fear that now she is back home in London, she’ll return to the crazed life she led before she jetted off to the Caribbean. I sincerely hope she doesn’t revert to the reckless and dangerous behavior that threatens to end her life. I think it’s a great idea for Amy and Blake to call it quits … for the sake of each of them, they prolly need to not be together anymore. I guess we’ll see what Amy’s life will be like now that she’s back at home in London. I, for one, am pulling for her to get her life back on track. Here’s hoping she learned something about living a normal and CLEAN life while she was away on holiday.
