Alyson Hannigan, Alexis Denisof & Satyana Celebrate Baby’s First Hallowe’en

In celebration of their daughter Satyana’s first Hallowe’en, Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof decided to dress as a family in matching costumes … with the result being pure and total ADORABLENESS! Here are photos of the happy family dressed up as kangaroos for Hallowe’en yesterday:

As you may recall, yesterday we saw photos of little Sati dressed up as a pink bunny on the family’s visit to the pumpkin patch but I think her little kangaroo costume takes the cake … especially when you see that she’s stuffed in mama Aly’s kangaroo pouch! So cute!! David and I were graciously invited to Aly and Alexis’s Hallowe’en party yesterday and we had a great time with the roos. This is SO what Hallowe’en is all about … fun, family and friends. Aren’t these costumes just the cutest thing ever? Sooo freakin’ cute ;)

It wasn’t that long ago that little Miss Satyana was born and look at her now … she’s so big already. She is an absolute doll of a baby and I just loving seeing her out and about with her parents. It’s physically impossible to see photos of Aly and/or daddy Alexis Denisof with Satyana and not smile … their happiness is so infectious. Love them :)

Alyson Hannigan Does ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’

Alyson Hannigan, who’s CBS TV series How I Met Your Mother just aired its season premiere ep, paid a visit to The Late Show with David Letterman last night to promote the show and talked to Dave about things as varied as her daughter Satyana’s first flight to a funny story about her mother’s injuries from a car accident many years ago. Here are a couple photos of Aly lookin’ all glammy as she made her way into the taping of The Late Show last night:

As soon as Aly mentioned her darling daughter Satyana, Dave shared a new previously unseen photo of the little doll:

OY!! Ain’t she the cutest?? Love that little girl … and her mommy. Alyson’s segment on the show last night was very short but, in fine Aly style, was very funny and cute. After the jump, check out video of Aly’s interview with David Letterman last night …

I just love Alyson Hannigan. I believe Aly will be staying in NYC for at least a few more days … I wonder what other fun adventures she’s got planned for her visit. Hopefully we’ll be seeing her around town later in the week ;)

The 2009 Emmy Awards Are Handed Out

Last night the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards were handed out in a lavish ceremony at the Nokia Theater at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles, CA which was broadcast on CBS. As I mentioned earlier, Neil Patrick Harris KILLED as Emmy host last night but the awards show was more than just about him (as hard to believe as that may be). Here are a few pictures from the red carpet arrivals at the 2009 Emmy Awards last night:

While there were a lot of pretty people on the red carpet (Alyson Hannigan looked amazing, as did Drew Barrymore) the real focus of the night was on who won what for which TV show. After the jump, check out some photos from the Emmy telecast itself, see some photos of the Emmy winners in the press room and find out who took home those coveted trophies at last night’s Emmy Awards …

After starting with 16 nominations, “Mad Men” won just three Emmy Awards at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night — but one of them was the big one, best drama series. The AMC show about ad agency executives in early 1960s Manhattan often competed against itself, particularly in the category of episode writing, where it had four of the five possible nominations. “Mad Men” also won best drama last year. “30 Rock” won best comedy at Sunday’s awards. The show won five Emmys overall. “We want to thank our friends at NBC … for keeping us on the air, even though we are so much more expensive than a talk show,” said star Tina Fey in accepting the honor. Glenn Close won best actress in a drama for her performance in “Damages,” but she turned her speech into praise for her colleagues. “I want to salute what I call my ‘category sisters,’ ” she said. “I respect you, and I’m inspired by your talent.” She also paid tribute to the show’s writers. Bryan Cranston of AMC’s “Breaking Bad” won his second straight Emmy as best actor in a drama. “I don’t know what I’m doing up here,” he said. “I feel like Cinderfella. … I stand here a humbled man.” Alec Baldwin won best actor in a comedy series for his performance in “30 Rock.” Toni Collette (”The United States of Tara”) won best actress in a comedy. Collette’s win was a mild surprise, as Tina Fey, of “30 Rock,” was considered a heavy favorite.

The thing that stuck me the most about the show was how much camaraderie was being tossed about … from everyone to everyone else. Heaps of praise was laid upon Neil Patrick Harris’s performance as Emmy host and the winners kept congratulating others … it was really nice to see. Much congrats goes out to all the winners … even if I don’t watch all of the shows that win, it’s clear that they are much beloved by viewers and Emmy voters and they are really deserving of their accolades. Click HERE for a list of last night’s 2009 Emmy Award winners.

Alyson Hannigan Gives Daughter Satyana Some Face Time

Alyson Hannigan and her beautiful baby girl Satyana spent part of their afternoon strolling the streets of Santa Monica, CA yesterday enjoying a lovely walk together. Normally, we see photos of Alyson and/or hubby Alexis Denisof pushing the Little Miss in her covered baby carriage … but yesterday, Satayana showed her beautiful little face for all to see:

Are you seriously dying from all the cuteness? That face, those wittle feet … that hat! OY! Satyana is so freakin’ cute. While I completely understand that her parents want to protect her and keep her underwraps, it’s nice to get a quick look at what a beautiful little girl she’s growing into. It’s hard to believe she’s about to be 6 months old in just a few weeks … where does the time go.

Alyson Hannigan and her hubby Alexis Denisof ventured out this weekend for one of their semi-regular walks with their babygirl Satyana here in SoCal and Aly was showin’ off some mighty fine junk in the trunk! Check out Aly’s nice assets in these cute little cut-off jean shorts:

It looks like Mrs. Thang is gettin’ her groove back. She recently posted a tweet on her official Twitter profile that Alexis has begun filming new scenes for his upcoming stint on Dollhouse (which we heard about a few weeks ago) but it looks like she’s been keepin’ bizzy, as well, workin’ on her fitness. She also confirmed that she recently started reporting for duty on the set of How I Met Your Mother last week … clearly, she’s back in shape and ready to go! Hawt!!

Here are a few ADORABLE photos of newish parents Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof taking their precious babygirl Satyana out for a stroll in the lovely SoCal sun yesterday afternoon lookin’ very much like the cutest family ever that they are. Having just turn 4 months old, little Miss Satyana is already gettin’ so big … and even more precious, if you can believe it:

I just love this family so much. And can I reiterate my EXTREME GLEE that Alexis will be joining the cast of Dollhouse in some capacity this coming season? It’s been FAR TOO LONG since we’ve been able to enjoy Mr. Denisof on TV in any lasting capacity, which is why I’m really hoping that Joss Whedon has got great plans for the man on Dollhouse. I know others are very excited that fellow Buffyverse alum Summer Glau is also joining the cast of Dollhouse but my geek meter is on OVERDRIVE at the news that Alexis will be joining the show as well. It really sounds like Whedon will be pulling out all the stops to help make Season 2 of Dollhouse as amazing as possible. I cannot wait!! Woot!!

Satyana Hannigan-Denisof Celebrates Her Independence

Here is an adorable photo of little Miss Satyana enjoying a lovely 4th of July stroll with her parents Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof here in SoCal yesterday afternoon. This year’s Independence Day was Satyana’s first so she thought it totally apropos to deck out her pram with a couple of very patriotic American flags … behold:

Sooo cute! As you can see from this photo, mum Alyson also got into the USA spirit by dressing in a cute little red, white and blue ensemble (my fave part of her outfit is her 70’s-lookin’ ribbon belt). Alexis, too, wore red, white and blue but in a more subtle fashion. Incidentally, David and I also went out for at 4th of July stroll yesterday tho we opted out of the color-coordination … but I’m getting off topic. I just love this family … Happy 4th Hannigan-Denisofs!

This week has been chock full of emotions … running the gamut of the full spectrum … but seeing these photos of Aly and her happy family really puts everything into perspective. Into everyone’s life a little rain must fall but eventually the will shine again. I imagine that the Hannigan-Denisofs are really enjoying life these days. They’re happy, healthy and raising a beautiful newborn child together. I love that we can always turn to Alyson Hannigan to bright up our days :)
