Head for les hills, Lindsay Lohan and her entourage (which includes her younger sister Aliana Ali Lohan, BFF Patrick Aufdenkamp, a few new unnamed hangers-on and various members of her security detail) have made their way to Paris, France to partake of all that the City of Lights has to offer … here is Lindsay and a couple of her peeps roaming the streets of Paris earlier today:

To her credit, she is lookin’ much better than she has been lookin’ in the past few weeks. I understand she enjoyed a lovely and drama-free visit to Singapore for a festival over the weekend and it looks like she is fresh-faced and ready to enjoy Paris. One hopes that she will keep her partying to a minimum because I much prefer seeing photos of Lindsay lookin’ put together rather than bedraggled and falling out of nightclubs. Take heed, Parisians … L. Lo is in your town now. Watch out!!

Lindsay Lohan, who has been jetting around North America in the past few weeks, has made her way to France this week with little homeschooled sister Aliana Lohan in tow (who, clearly, must be such a successful scholastic that she is able to take time away from her studies to accompany her big sister on trips around the world when she should be in school). In a new interview with Closer magazine, Lindsay explains that she likes the way she looks (ie. she doesn’t believe she is too skinny) and reveals that she is now friends with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson … she also confesses that she “lost” herself in Sam and is now looking to find herself again. Here are a few pics of Linds and Ali doing some shopping in Paris yesterday and portions of her Closer magazine interview:

Lindsay Lohan has denied having an eating disorder and has spoken about her relationship with Sam Ronson. The actress has been pictured looking painfully thin since splitting up with DJ Sam and there have been rumours she has stopped eating through the upset. “I like the way I look,” the 22-year-old said. “I’m not starving myself, contrary to popular belief. I’m criticised when I’m too heavy or too thin.” Lindsay broke up with girlfriend Sam – sister of Mark Ronson – just last month but maintains they are still close. “We’re friends. I lost myself a bit with Sam, like many people do when they’re in a relationship,” she continued. “I want to be on my own for a while. I need to care about myself now. I didn’t get into this business to be a celebrity. I’ve been a target for a long time.” She is even considering a move to London because “people aren’t as judgemental”. The Mean Girls star, who has had a couple of stints in rehab for drink and drug problems, also bemoaned the way she is portrayed in the media and the effect it has on her career. “When I was a kid,” she revealed. “I thought movie stars were people who wanted to act in great movies. It’s all I ever wanted to do, but I’ve become this girl who’s seen as someone who parties, who wants to be photographed all the time, isn’t focused and can’t be on time. “That’s not true. There are other actresses my age, like Scarlett Johansson, and I don’t get the same opportunities.”

My advice for Lindsay would be that if you don’t want to be seen as a young actress who “parties, wants to be photographed all the time, isn’t focused and can’t be on time” then the first thing you have to do is not do those things. I love me some Lindsay but she is guilty of all of those things … in repeated instances. What she needs to do is not rail against the persona she has, it’s to move forward and change people’s perceptions. You can’t really undo the past by denying it … you have to prove to people that you have changed for the better. Lindsay has a long way to go to show growth and change but she can deffo do it … it just remains to be seen if she’s serious about actually changing (cleaning her home might be a good place to start). I guess we’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, Lindsay will be shopping and mentoring her little sister … IMHO, she can’t possibly do a worse job of that than mama Dina Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan, with little sister Aliana Ali Lohan in tow, showed up at the premiere launch event for Teen.com’s new original web series Haute and Bothered at the Sunset Tower here in LA last night. Busting out her new (and totally annoying and absolutely unflattering) red carpet pose (ie. finger in mouth), Linds strutted her stuff with little sister Ali … behold:

Gak. It looks like this finger in mouth thing is here to stay. Personally, I preferred the arm behind the head pose that she used to do … or the blowing kisses pose. And suddenly, I hate myself for even having an opinion on her red carpet poses … so let’s move on. I bet Ali is really happy that Lindsay and Samantha Ronson remain broken up … it’s the best thing to have happened to her social calendar in ages. Sure, she prolly isn’t getting the scholastic attention that a girl of her young years requires but, meh, she’s a Lohan. They don’t need no schoolin’. It’s curious that Lindsay decided to stay in LA on the night of the big Costume Institute Gala in NYC … do you suppose she was uninvited from this year’s Celebrity Prom?

Here are a few photos of a very happy-looking Lindsay Lohan enjoying a day of sun and surf (literally) on her last day on the island of Maui, HI yesterday. She was joined by her little sister Aliana Lohan (who, apparently, has no other commitments to tend to these days and can afford to go on holiday with her big sister) for a day of surfing … behold:

Lindsay Lohan looked like she didn’t have a care in the world as she rode the waves in Hawaii yesterday. The actress laughed as she showed her ample surfing skills on the final day of her getaway in Hawaii. The 22-year-old has been holidaying on the paradise island in a bid to get away from it all after her split from Samantha Ronson three weeks ago. In contrast to the skimpy bikinis she has been wearing on her week-long vacation, Lindsay covered up her skinny figure with an ill-fitting black swimsuit. Earlier on Wednesday, Lindsay had spent another day relaxing by the pool and enjoying the sun with her younger sister Ali and a few friends. Following a heart-to-heart with DJ Samantha last Thursday night, the 22-year-old jetted to Hawaii for some much needed time out … In between swimming and enjoying the sun, Lindsay repeatedly checked her Blackberry for messages and made friends with a local dog. She also caught up on some reading with a telling book entitled The Little Teal Book Of Trust by Jeffrey Gitomer, which teaches the reader how to trust people and be trustworthy.

It really looks like this vacay is doing wonders for Lindsay’s disposition. She always looks happy and really seems to be enjoying herself. Altho her little sister Ali should prolly be in school working on her scholastic education (you know, in case her attempt at a music career doesn’t really pan out), it appears that her presence in Hawaii to be with Lindsay has been helping her stay grounded:

Much like the isle of St. Lucia appears to have mellowed out Amy Winehouse, it seems as if the isle of Maui has done a bit of the same for Lindsay. But, alas, Lindsay’s time in Hawaii has come to an end. Methinks that she will be returning to SoCal in no time … and will most likely reunite with Samantha Ronson who is also due back home in LA after her recent trip to NYC.

Lindsay Lohan, who is currently on the island of Maui, HI on a mini-vacay with family and friends, spent a bit of time playing in the water with her little sister Aliana Lohan yesterday. The girls whopped it up together in the historic birthing tide pools looking as if they were having the time of their lives … behold:

Lindsay Lohan’s split from girlfriend Samantha Ronson has clearly been unhelpful in her constant battle to maintain a healthy weight. Now, in a bid to take her mind over her recent romantic upheaval, the Mean Girls actress is holidaying in Hawaii with her younger sister Ali and a few friends. But the troubled star’s weight loss was all too apparent when she showed off her skinny figure in a skimpy bikini yesterday. Following a heart-to-heart with DJ Samantha last Thursday night, the 22-year-old jetted to Hawaii for some much needed time out. Following their six-hour meeting at Samantha’s LA home, the DJ has now changed her relationship status from ’single’ to ‘it’s complicated’ on her Facebook page. Lindsay told Ellen: “I really care about Samantha and we’ll see what happens. Maybe when we’re fully in the right place. I love her.”

While I think this little holiday in Hawaii will do the girl some good, I really think that Lindsay needs to take care of herself a bit more. Seeing her this happy is great but she really does look frail in some of her recent photos. No matter what happens with Samantha, she needs to put herself and her health first in order to find happiness. But, again, I think this trip with family and friends will do wonders for her disposition. I’m rootin’ for Lindsay to find happiness … but she really needs to find it within herself rather than in someone else. Rest up, Linds!!

Lindsay Lohan, who has been spending a bit of time with her recently ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson back home in LA in the past few days, has made her way to Maui, HI over the weekend to spend some downtime with her younger sister Aliana Lohan and some friends. Here are a few photos of a very happy-looking Lindsay doing a bit of retail therapy in Maui yesterday afternoon:

Frail Lindsay Lohan looked painfully thin as she donned a tiny pair of hotpants for some retail therapy. The troubled actress has been heartbroken over her split with Samantha Ronson and is now in Hawaii with her 15-year-old sister Ali and friends as she tries to get over the break-up. Wearing a small floral blouse and denim shorts, it was clear just how tiny the Mean Girls star has become. The blouse slipped over her shoulder to reveal her sinewy upper arms and back as she shopped in Gucci and Louis Vuitton on the island of Maui. Even the tiny hotpants, which would have been snug on the trimmest of celebrities, gaped around the 22-year-old’s thighs. A friend has told a U.S. magazine that the formerly curvy actress has been losing weight in an attempt to get attention from Ronson. “She wants Sam to see how bad she’s hurting,” the pal told People magazine. But while the actress has publicly said she is still in love with Samantha, the DJ has kept quiet about the end of their turbulent affair. And while Lohan spent thousands of dollars in upmarket boutiques, the DJ cut a lonely figure lunching at Sant Ambroeus in New York. She was with friends, but seemed more interested in checking her Blackberry for messages – and it seemed her former lover was doing the same thousands of miles away in Hawaii. Their on-off relationship came to a crashing end three weeks ago when the 31-year-old DJ and her family refused to let the actress into a party at Bar Marmont in Hollywood. The next day, Sam changed the locks on the Hollywood Hills home she shared with Lindsay and there were reports the Ronson family made inquires with police about a restraining order. But according to some U.S. reports, the actress was spent the night at Ronson’s place on Friday.

Despite the fact that Lindsay does look pretty frail these days, the fact that she is all smiles is encouraging. My guess is that the ladies are working on getting things back on track or, at the very least, are working towards remaining friendly with one another. Since Samantha had to jet off to NYC, Linds prolly thought it would be fun to take off for a mini-vacay in Hawaii with family and friends. Something tells that the ladies are staying in touch even tho they are so far away from one another. I’m still hoping for a total reunification of L. Ron. Maybe this time apart will help them realize that they need to be together :)

Lindsay Lohan was spotted doing a bit of shopping with her little sister Ali Lohan on Melrose Ave. yesterday afternoon and I couldn’t help but notice how much thinner she looks in the pics. I love Lindsay very much so these pics are a bit troubling … they seem all too familiar from the time when she was rail-thin, with bones protruding a few years ago. Since her Skeletwins^TM days, Lindsay had recouped her curves and looked to be back to a relatively healthy weight. These days, tho, those curves seem to be no more:

The Mean Girls actress looked skinnier than ever as she hit LA’s Melrose Avenue for an afternoon of retail therapy with her younger sister Ali. Her cream halter-neck sundress hung off her rail-thin frame with the cut-away back revealing her protruding ribcage and sinewy arms. The 22-year-old looked on edge during the outing, clutching a can of Coca-Cola and biting her finger nails as she stopped to try on reading glasses at an optometrist. Lindsay’s weight has yo-yoed dramatically over the years from buxom to skeletal.

Nothing about this is a laughing or joking matter. It absolutely pains me to see Lindsay look frail. Whether or not you think she is a talented actress, she absolutely has a je ne sais quoi? about her that makes her an endearing person. It is very sad that she no longer looks happy now that she is separated from Samantha Ronson (and let’s be honest, she looked very happy with Sam when they were together) but it’s even sadder to think that she might not be taking her health into consideration. Believe me, I realize that my assertions are based on huge assumptions but there can be no denying that she looks much thinner. I hope, for her sake, that she realizes that she looks so much better when she’s healthy and curvy.
