Last weekend we got to see a photo of actor Alex O’Loughlin on the Hawaiian set of season 2 of Hawaii Five-0 and today we get to see him on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Men’s Fitness magazine. As you can guess, Alex features in a few shirtless and sweaty photos so … you might want to take a look below.

Filming production is in full swing on the Hawaiian set of Hawaii Five-0 which returns with its second season this Fall. In addition to a cute photo of stars Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan holding hands (awwww!), a photo has surfaced on Twitter that shows the return of a villain character played by a Buffyverse alum that we all know and love. Hawaii Five-0 hottie Alex O’Loughlin is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Australian GQ Style magazine, due out on newsstands on March 7. As a fan of the man’s work since his vampire days on the defunct CBS series Moonlight, I have been faithfully watching Five-0 since the series debut last Fall. As a fan of the man’s looks, I’ve been happy to post any and all photos possible … so this feature in GQ Style is a welcome sight to see.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex O’Loughlin were in attendance at the Vue Leicester Square for the London premiere of their new film The Back-Up Plan earlier today. As you can see from the following photos, J. Lo tried to rock a hair’do that famously belongs to another A-List Hollywood celeb:

Unfortch, unless this particular hair’do isn’t blue in color then it looks utterly and COMPLETELY ridiculous. Forget the trash bag dress, I have no idea what the hell Jenny from the Block was thinking by trying to rock this hair’do … it does not really work for her. Even Mr. O’Loughlin looked mortified to be standing next to her on the red carpet last night. No … this whole thing that J. Lo is trying to pull of is just ….. no.

Jennifer Lopez, Alex O’Loughlin and Nubbins the Dog were all on hand at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, CA last night for the Hollywood premiere of their new film The Back-Up Plan. These stars were joined by a host of other celebs at last night’s event (including Heidi Klum who managed to turn her horrid new hair’do into something more fashionably presentable). I not the least bit ashamed to admit that I want to see this movie. There, I said it … now please don’t shun me ;) I’ve always been a sucker for Jennifer Lopez movies and this one looks like her usual fare. I’ve been a pretty big fan of Alex O’Loughlin since his days on Moonlight (especially since he has already professed his lurve for Pink is the new Blog) and I hear he is pretty great in this film and, well, there you have it. Trust me, I’m not expecting Citizen Kane or anything like that … The Back-Up Plan looks like the sort of fun film I’d see with my BFF Sarah if she and I still lived in the same city. Because we cannot see it together, well, I guess David will have to get dragged along instead. Don’t lie, I know many of you are kinda sorta interested in seeing this film, right? How many of y’all are gonna be at the movies this weekend to see this little gem? Mebbe I’ll see you there :)

Last Wednesday we learned that Buffyverse album James Marsters has joined the cast of the revamped CBS TV series Hawaii Five-0 as the arch villain in the pilot episode and today we get to meet the rest of the cast of Five-0. Alex O’Loughlin plays the lead character Steve McGarrett while Scott Caan plays his faithful partner Danny Danno Williams (who will be doing all of the “booking” on the show). Lost alum Daniel Dae Kim has been cast as Detective Chin Ho Kelly and Battlestar Galactica‘s Grace Park will play Kono Kalakaua. As I said before, I vaguely remember this show when it was on the air in re-runs when I was little but I somehow doubt this new version will resemble the original series in any way but the character names. I have to say that I like this cast tho … this group of actors could be the right formula for CBS to make a hit out of this show again. Here are a few new photos of Jennifer Lopez and her co-star Alex O’Loughlin on the NYC set of their new film The Back-Up Plan which is currently in production. As you can see, the on-screen couple have themselves a couple of twin babies who are supercute … they make a nice fake family, don’t you think?

In all honesty, J. Lo looks much better when she’s paired up with Alex O’Loughlin than she does with her real zombie-like hubby Marc Anthony. BUT, sometimes fiction is better than truth. On the LopAnthony front, J. Lo joined Marc at a press conference to announce to the world that they are now part-owners of the Miami Dolphins football team. When last we saw Jennifer Lopez on the set of her new film The Back-Up Plan here on the blog, she was in SoCal chillin’ in between takes with her kiddies … today we get to see pics from the NYC set of the film but this time, J. Lo is chillin’ with her on-screen hottie co-star Alex O’Loughlin … behold:

You may recognize O’Loughlin as the moody, broody vampire from the CBS series Moonlight and as the star of the upcoming new TV series Three Rivers. Clearly, homie acts in movies, too! I LOVED him in Moonlight and was very bummed when the show got axed after one season. I’m encouraged that CBS put him in a new series this Fall and that he will be co-starring with La Diva Latina J. Lo herself. They make a very good looking couple, don’t you think? I love the last two pics of J. Lo … she looks great.
