The long arm of the law has finally reached out and fully embraced Mr. Adnan Ghalib, former paparazzo photog and boyfriend (for a dark time) of Britney Spears … after Ghalib was charged with three felonies back in February of this year, he eventually plead no contest to the charges and was recently sentenced to serve 45 days in jail in addition to a longer sentence of probation. Ghalib‘s mug shot has just been made available, behold:

Adnan Ghalib, Britney Spears’ ex-boyfriend/paparazzo, was booked into jail on Friday — and here’s the mug shot. Soul patches are all the rage in prison. He’ll be doing 45 days in the pokey and was also on formal probation for 36 months and has to complete 52 weeks of anger management classes and 45 days of Caltrans (hard labor). Back in October, Ghalib pled no contest to leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly ran over a process server in February.

While 45 days (or less if he gets out early due to overcrowding) is not very long, I’m happy to know that this slimy sleeze is currently in jail for his crimes. As you may recall, once Britney came to her senses (and went under the legal conservatorship of her father/savior Jamie Spears), she filed a restraining order suit against Ghalib and her former “manager”/leech Osama Sam Lutfi so that they would be forced to stay away from her. Both of these men belong in jail but at least they cannot come near Britney anymore. I’m very happy to see that this dark chapter in Britney‘s life is finally being dealt with … here’s hoping each of these losers are never heard from again.

Adnan Ghalib, the former paparazzo-turned-Britney Spears leech, is being charged with three felony assault charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest after allegations that he ran into a process server who was trying to serve him with legal papers last week. You may recall that Papa Jamie Spears, as Britney‘s conservator, petitioned and won from the court a temporary restraining order against Ghalib and the equally slimy Osama Sam Lutfi … Ghalib allegedly used his Mercedes to take out his frustrations on the innocent process server who was trying to serve him with paperwork:

An arrest warrant has been issued for Britney Spears’s paparazzo ex-boyfriend to face felony charges of trying to avoid a process server – with the help of some German engineering. According to L.A. prosecutors, the victim was serving a temporary restraining order, obtained by Spears’s father, at Adnan Ghalib’s apartment complex in Encino on Feb. 11 when Ghalib got into his Mercedes and drove it toward the victim. To avoid being penned against a trash truck, the victim jumped on the hood and hung on as the car served, eventually falling off and breaking his wrist, among other injuries, the District Attorney alleges. Ghalib allegedly drove away without stopping. Ghalib was slapped Tuesday with three felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run and battery, all worth up to seven years in prison if convicted. The charges include special allegations: use of a deadly weapon – a car – and great bodily injury. Prosecutors are asking bail be set at $110,000.

Praise the Heavens above … Britney Spears has finally taken a positive step forward in her rehabilitation to sanity that has been long overdue. A legal team, on behalf of Britney and Jamie Spears (as her conservator) filed suit against Osama Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib (in my opinion, lecherous and unsavory men who did everything they could to exploit Britney Spears when she was at her weakest for their own personal gain) asking the court that they be barred from getting near her … fearing that these men might do her harm, Britney‘s legal team is hoping that the men might be locked up in jail, never to be seen or heard from again:

[TMZ has] learned [that] Britney Spears conservators have just obtained a restraining order against Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib. Britney’s lawyers went to court this morning to obtain the injunction. A source close to the conservatorship tells TMZ Britney asked her conservators to “protect her from Sam and Adnan.” We’ve also learned Britney told her conservators she was afraid of them both and hoped they could be locked up in jail. A source tells TMZ the conservators believe Lutfi and Ghalib conspired to try and undermine Britney’s conservatorship in a way that would have been extremely harmful to her. We’re also told attorney Jon Eardley — the dude Lutfi used early last year to mount a bizarre, baseless attack on the conservatorship — was allegedly also in on the conspiracy and the TRO is against him as well.

From the sounds of it, it appears that Lutfi, Ghalib and this Eardley fellow have joined forces to try and usurp Papa Jamie Spears‘s conservatorship over Britney in an effort to gain control of her themselves. It would seem to me that their alleged attempts to get Britney free from her father’s guidance is an elaborate ploy to get her away from his watchful eye long enough for them to try and swoop in and exert their own control over her. If true, these men truly sicken me. Thankfully, Papa Spears and his legal team took the offensive to try and keep this travesty from happening. Just as things looked to be getting better for troubled Britney Spears it appears she has reunited with her badboy former lover Adnan Ghalib. The popstar is taking a break in Las Vegas before before attending the MTV Video Awards later this week. And she has been showing off her newly svelte figure, looking better than ever as she relaxed by the pool in a tiny bikini before heading out in a slim fitting sundress. But also in the city is Birmingham paparazzi Adnan, who has been accused of having ulterior motives by Britney’s father Jamie. The 36-year-old has barely been seen with Britney since she was hospitalised for psychiatric treatment in January. But despite Britney’s father’s staunch disapproval of Adnan, the pop star is understood to have started seeing Adnan again, TMZ.com reported. However sources claim the two haven’t got back together for purely romantic reasons – Britney is apparently terrified Adnan has an explicit video of her, filmed during the couple’s brief trip to Mexico in January. “Britney’s really scared that Adnan has a sex tape,” an insider told MailOnline last month. “She wants to get it out of his hands.” Britney’s father, who is still her legal custodian following a legal order earlier this year is said to have made his dislike of Adnan obvious. “Britney’s father can’t stand Adnan,” said the source. “He thinks he’s seedy, with ulterior motives.”

Uh, yeah … I think he’s seedy, too … I never liked him at all. He seemed hardly much better than that creep Sam Lutfi. I SINCERELY hope that Britney is not secretly seeing Adnan anymore … it would just break my heart to see her undo all of the amazing progress that she’s made in the past few months. I say no, they aren’t together and Adnan is just trying everything he can to get near her … but, I guess we really don’t know. Do any of y’all think she might still be creepin’ around with Ghalib?
