More Adam Lambert news… earlier today we reported that his new music video for the single, “Better Than I Know Myself” was out, and now we have heard that Adam will be going on tour with the iconic band, Queen. Trent reported on this in Les News today and now we have more of the story…Comparisons have often been made between Adam and the legend, Freddie Mercury. Adam himself made comments during his time on American Idol that Queen and Freddie were his musical inspiration growing up, and his owl idol. Read on to find out more about the tour plans, and whether Adam feels he could ever replace Freddie.

Earlier this week, while vacationing in Helsinki, Finland together, lovebirds Adam Lambert and Sauli Koskinen got themselves arrested after they were involved in a personal skirmish that turned into a reported bar brawl. Fortunately for the both of them, neither one was charged with a crime and they were immediately released from police custody. The guys managed to kiss and make up in time for Xmas. Adam shared a cute photo of the pair wearing matching festive headwear (on Adam‘s official WhoSay account), in an effort (I’m sure) to show that all’s well between the lovebirds.

Last night in Helsinki, Finland former American Idol Adam Lambert and his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen were arrested after the couple became involved in an … altercation of some sort. Reports are sketchy about what exactly happened before the guys were arrested but Dr. Funkberry seems to have the most reasonable report on what allegedly went down. The end result, tho, is very clear … both Adam and Sauli were arrested. Click below for some deets about what supposedly happened last night in Helsinki.

For some unknown reason, singer Adam Lambert lost his shizz and started attacking a paparazzo photographer in Miami, FL … and is now being investigated for assault. Naturally, the whole thing was captured on film by other paparrazos in the area … behold:

TMZ has learned … the Miami Beach Police Department is now in the middle of a violent incident involving “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert … after the alleged victim filed a police report. Law enforcement sources tell us the paparazzo seen grappling with Lambert on the beach yesterday walked into a Miami Beach police station around 10:30 PM last night and filed a report … accusing the singer of misdemeanor battery. According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, the victim claims Adam grabbed his backpack “where the camera was placed” … and “wrestled [the photog] to the ground forcefully.” One big problem — in photos that were taken of the incident, the camera appears to be in the photog’s hand … not in his bag. The police report also notes that the photog didn’t sustain any “bruises or lacerations.” Cops tell detectives will decide if the case is worth turning over to the State’s Attorney — who will decide whether to prosecute Lambert. If convicted, Lambert could face up to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. After yesterday’s clash — Lambert went right to his Twitter account and posted, “I lost my temper for a sec but wow it felt great lol MIAMI!!!”

Because this incident is still under investigation, we do not know what really went down … it’s possible the paparazzo had another camera in his backpack but even that is beside the point. It’s clear that Lambert got physical with this man … and then all but confessed to the crime in his own words on Twitter. After the jump, check out the police report from this physical altercation …

Last month the 21st annual GLAAD Media Awards were handed out in a ceremony in NYC, NY and last night the second batch of awards — “recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and the issues that affect their lives” — where handed out here in LA in a second ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel. American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert performed and artists like Wanda Sykes, Drew Barrymore won GLAAD Media Awards alongside TV shows like Glee and RuPaul’s Drag Race. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals yesterday and some deets from last night’s affair:

The Fox musical comedy was among the winners at the 21st annual GLAAD Media Awards. The show’s cast and creator Ryan Murphy received the trophy for outstanding comedy series at Saturday’s glitzy ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. Murphy, in particular, praised lesbian actress Jane Lynch and gay actor Chris Colfer for their contributions. “We have a great responsibility with the show,” Murphy beamed. Murphy told the crowd that Colfer’s character, outspoken gay soprano Kurt Hummel, would have a boyfriend next season, and the pair would become prom kings. Murphy also promised the crowd that Colfer’s character “would never be the victim.” “Iron Chef” Cat Cora presented actress-director Drew Barrymore with the Vanguard Award, which honors efforts to increase visibility and understanding of the gay community. In a humorous video before accepting her trophy, Barrymore listed several of her inspirational gay colleagues, including her agent, lawyer, doctor, stylists and one of her dogs. “The thing that means the most to me about an evening like this, and why I want to fight and be outspoken about this is because there are so many people who are in desperate need of families,” Barrymore said. Constance McMillen, the lesbian Mississippi teenager who challenged her school district’s ban of same-sex prom dates, presented comedian-actress Wanda Sykes with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, which is given by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation to an openly gay member of the entertainment community for their work toward eliminating homophobia. “I’m willing to give this award to you,” Sykes teased McMillen, “but I’m not gonna do it. It means a lot to me.” Other winners included Logo’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race” for outstanding reality program and “A Single Man” for outstanding wide release film. “A Single Man” director Tom Ford wasn’t on hand to receive his trophy. His partner Richard Buckley accepted the award on Ford’s behalf because the filmmaker was stranded in London thanks to the volcanic cloud of ash. Adam Lambert, the glam-rocking “American Idol” runner-up who raised eyebrows with his racy performance at last year’s American Music Awards, capped off the ceremony hosted by transgender actress Candis Cayne and gay actor Wilson Cruz with a performance of his tunes “Music Again” and “Fever.” He ended by pleading for diversity within the gay community. The awards salute fair, accurate and inclusive representation of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives in the media. Other winners — chosen from 152 nominees in 32 categories — were awarded at a March ceremony in New York, while the remainder will be presented at a San Francisco ceremony in June.

Superstar DJ Samantha Ronson and American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert were the best of buds in London, England last night where the two were spotted in close company together. Sam had a DJ gig at a club called Chinawhite and Glambert was in town doing a bit of promo … the BFFs apparently ran into one another and decided to make a night of it:

I have to say, these two strike me as unlikely friends but I bet they had a great time together last night. You can kinda sorta tell that Sam was having fun because she’s not quite as scowly as she usually looks in photos ;) While I may not be a fan of Glambert‘s music, I suspect he’s a fun guy to hang around with. It’s unknown of these two will continue to hang out together in the future but I understand they had a blast together last night. Who knows, mebbe a new celebrity couple (of friends, that is) is born.

I gotta say … I like these photos. While the glasses are quite ridiculous, Glambert wears them well. There’s a nice edge to these photos without his usual need to go overboard. If his photospreads were more like this and less like THIS then I think I’d be more of a fan. He’s on the right path with these photos. What do y’all think?
