First Look: ‘Amélie’ Director Releases A Trailer For His New Film ‘The Young & Prodigious Spivet’

A Child Prodigy Takes On The World...

EEEEeeeekkkk! Jean-Pierre Jeunet (acclaimed director of Amélie and A Very Long Engagement) has completed his next film and I am CrAaaazy-psyched about it… even though my girl Audrey Tautou is not in it, lol. The Young & Prodigious Spivet is an English-language film based on Reif Larsen‘s The Selected Works Of T.S. Spivet; it follows the story of a young inventor who leaves home when he’s invited to the Smithsonian. This first trailer is a little cutesy for me (which is a critique that some folks gave Amélie), but I’m still excited to see it in theatres. This will also be Jeunet‘s first 3D film, and it’s starring Callum Keith Rennie, Helena Bonham-Carter, Kathy Bates, Judy Davis, and Dominique Pinon. Peep the video for more!

Leonardo DiCaprio And David O. Russell Team Up On JFK Conspiracy Movie

Leonardo DiCaprio at the photocall for 'The Great Gatsby' at The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals

A little while back we heard that Leonardo DiCaprio was planning to take a break from acting. Since then we’ve heard reports of Leo‘s name coming up for some big roles, and now we’re learning that he’s been working on a JFK conspiracy movie for some time. He could still, presumably take his long break from acting since these projects are only in the beginning stages, but in the meantime, I plan to start getting excited about this upcoming work. Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell is now officially directing and writing the script for Leo‘s project, Legacy Of Secrecy based on the book by Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann. A Source Tells ‘People’ Magazine That Beyoncé And Jay-Z Are Planning To Have Another Baby, But Not Until After Her Tour [UPDATE]

Last night the whole world (including me) went cray-cray once E! News reported that Beyoncé was, indeed, expecting her second child with Jay-Z. People were laughing, crying, and PITNBr BGLU Tia had us all cracking up with her mini-rant about Bey‘s pregnancy and its affect on her life and upcoming concert experience. Most of us were shocked that Bey– who is such a superstar, and such a boss, and clearly an amazing businesswoman– would turn up prego in the middle of a world tour, but who knows?! We still haven’t gotten the official confirmation from Bey or her rep, but People is reporting that a source told them Bey and Jay were only planning to have a baby, and planned to get to work on that after her world tour. Marion Cotillard Dons Vivienne Westwood At The 2013 Cannes Film Festival

Y’all. I’m torn. Marion Cotillard is catching hella flack for this dress she wore to the Chopard Lunch at the Cannes Film Festival… and I just can’t deal. She’s rocking a pink and ivory strapless Vivenne Westwood gown (which is a big change for her, since we usually see her in Dior) and everyone on RCFA was hating on it! Now, as y’all know, Marion has a special place in my heart and she’s in my ‘can do no wrong‘ category, so it’s hard for me to see the bad in or on her. What do you guys think of this look? First of all, I love this color on her (she looks so good in pales and neutrals, which is why I included a few pics from her night at the Met Ball) and I like that she went for minimal make-up. Plus, I’m kind of in love with her on at least 7 different layers, so if she looks wack, I can’t see it (although… okay… there is a frumpiness to the dress that I’m not that into)! What do you guys think of her look?
