Nicki Minaj made an appearance on The Tonight Show last night to do a little promo work for her just-released new album The Pinkprint and somewhere along the way, she got roped into talking about the high school yearbook photo that she “really hates”. For her birthday last week, Nicki‘s BFF Beyoncé shared with the world one of Nicki‘s yearbook photos … and last night, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon whipped out the photo and asked her about it. Altho Minaj says she hates the photo, I’m with Jimmy … I think the photo is really cute. Chris Pratt & A Velociraptor From ‘Jurassic World’ Wish You A Happy Holidays

Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow is currently hard at work in the editing room, making sure that the much-anticipated sequel is edited to perfection before the film opens in theaters next summer. But, as a holiday gift to fans, Trevorrow is sharing today a fun photo with the world. Last night, Trevorrow shared a photo on his official Twitter profile that features Jurassic World star Chris Pratt posing with a velociraptor — which you can see in full below. ‘Rule Breaker’ Taylor Swift Covers ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ Magazine

Taylor Swift is rounding out her amazing year with yet one more magazine cover before she sets her sights on conquering 2015. Taylor is featured on the cover of the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter (which is dated the January 9, 2015 issue) dedicated to the Rule Breakers of 2014. Taylor is noted as a “Rule Breaker” for deciding to give up her Country Music career for a Pop Music career as well as for her decision to pull all of her music off of the Spotify online streaming music service because of how little artists are paid for their work. Sony Pictures Has Cancelled The Release Of ‘The Interview’

Earlier today we learned that Sony Pictures decided to cancel the NYC premiere of their controversial movie The Interview after a terrorist threat was made against the promotion and release of the film. Sony also decided to allow movie theater chains to opt out of showing the movie in their theaters if they so desired. Just moments ago, Sony released an official statement that they are formally canceling the theatrical release of The Interview altogether. It remains to be seen if the studio is planning to release the movie in any other format but, for now, The Interview is dunzo! More »

Tim Burton Officially Confirms The ‘Beetlejuice’ Sequel, Confirms Winona Ryder’s Return

In October of 2013, rumor had it that Tim Burton was seriously considering directing a sequel to the 1988 film Beetlejuice. Shortly thereafter, it was rumored that Winona Ryder was close to signing on to reprise her role as Lydia for the sequel. First Look: Backstreet Boys Release An Official Trailer For Their New Documentary ‘Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of’

Earlier this month we learned that Backstreet Boys are releasing next month a documentary that will cover their 20 year history titled Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of in theaters and on Video On Demand. Today we get to see the official trailer for the doc and, I have to admit, it looks pretty damn good. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first heard this documentary was coming out but now that I’ve seen the trailer, yes, I am interested in checking it out. Watch the trailer above to get a good sense of what this BSB documentary is all about and determine if it’s something you’d like to see when it is released on January 30. It looks good, right?

Last month we learned from our dear Britney Spears that she is dating entrepreneur Charlie Ebersol when she shared a supercute photo of the couple hanging out together. Today, we are hearing for the first time from Charlie about his relationship with Britney … well, kinda. Charlie spoke with People magazine about a documentary he is producing and, obvs, the topic switched to his relationship with Britney. We are just about a week away from Xmas 2014 and everywhere you go, there is Xmas music everywhere. Some people love it, others don’t … but I’m a fan of Xmas music. I don’t really go for the traditional type of Xmas music but I do like creative versions of the classic carols or poppy, upbeat original songs. Owl City has released a new Xmas single titled Kiss Me Babe, It’s Christmas Time which you can hear in full above. Owl City is usually hit or miss for me but there is something I like about this song. Have a listen, see what you think.

Lobster Rollin’ With My Homie

Last night I met up with my friend Stacey for a dinner date that we planned last week and we decided to make our way to West Hollywood, CA to feast on a delicious seafood meal at Connie & Ted’s. Stacey is from Boston, MA so se knows good seafood and after I raved about Connie & Ted’s lobster rolls, she was game to give the place a try. OMG. Dinner was so good. We had a great time stuffing our faces together last night. Stacey and I have been hanging out a lot lately, which is great for me because she is only the best EVER :) More »
