We are still 2 months away from the premiere of The Walking Dead season 6 on AMC but the time has come for the show’s promo to begin in earnest. The Walking Dead season 6 is featured on the cover and in the pages of this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine and as you can see in the photo gallery presented here, the new season will feature our fave TWD characters alongside new characters to the show … and a bunch of new zombies. The cover story feature in this week’s issue of EW gives us a nice preview of the new season, which you can read excerpted below. But I am so here for the photos. There’s something magical about the sight of Andrew Lincoln‘s Rick and Norman Reedus‘s Daryl patting one another on the ass while Melissa McBride‘s Carol looks on. Amazing. Check out the photos, then click below to preview this new TWD feature in the new issue of EW magazine. More »

Last weekend I shared absolutely BRILLIANT behind the scenes b-roll footage that was filmed on the set of Madonna‘s 1990 music video for Vogue. As you may recall, that 30 video gave us an unprecedented look at the creative process that goes into the making of an iconic music video. Today we get to see more behind the scenes b-roll footage, this time from Maddy‘s music video for Rain (from her 1992 album Erotica) which was released in 1993. Like the Vogue b-roll video, this new footage gives us a really cool look at Madonna at work. I am completely in love. More »

In March of this year, we first heard that Chris Pine was being considered as the new Green Lantern in the forthcoming reboot of the superhero movie franchise … but in May, we learned that he was also being considered for the role of Steve Trevor, the love interest in the forthcoming Wonder Woman stand-alone film. Today we learn from The Wrap that Chris has officially signed on to play Wonder Woman / Diana Prince‘s love interest in her forthcoming series of movies. Personally, considering the other big roles that Pine is already committed to (chief among them as Captain James T. Kirk in the new Star Trek films), I think the smaller role of Steve Trevor in the WW movies is the perfect part for him. This is really great news, I think. More »
Earlier this week, we saw the first photos taken on the set of the Full House spin-off series Fuller House which will debut on Netflix next year. Today we get to see a photo from the set that was snapped during a live audience taping of the show. The photo comes from a TMZ story which reports that John Stamos was joking about his recent DUI arrest during the taping (which, if true, is gross) but I’m much more interested in the photo that shows Stamos alongside his Full House co-stars Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin in the very familiar Tanner family kitchen. Click below to have a look at the making of Fuller House in action. More »
Back in March, we learned the VERY EXCITING NEWS that NBC has selected the musical The Wiz as the production they will produce and air in December. Today we learn some really great casting news for The Wiz Live! Actress Stephanie Mills has been added to the cast as Aunt Em and singers Queen Latifah and Mary J. Blige have been added to the cast in the roles of The Wiz and Evillene, the Wicked Witch of the West. In the movie version of the musical, released back in 1978, The Wiz was played by Richard Pryor and Evillene was played by Mabel King. I am so damn excited by this entire production that I can barely breathe! I am LOVING this casting news so much! More »
On June 1, Caitlyn Jenner made her worldwide debut on the cover of that month’s issue of Vanity Fair magazine. But, the road to the cover of Vanity Fair was a long one, chronicled by a short film documentary titled Call Me Caitlyn. The embed above features the full 10-minute documentary, filmed and released by VF magazine, and shows us behind the scenes footage from the shoot along with interviews with members of the Vanity Fair staff and, of course, Caitlyn Jenner herself. Caitlyn offers some really great insight in this short documentary film, particularly her acknowledgement of the trans pioneers who came before her. Check out the video above, I think you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.
My week of packing was in full swing yesterday as I really got into the nitty gritty of the process. Normally, I’d take 2 weeks to leisurely pack up all of my stuff but because my window of opportunity to jump on my new place and get out of my old place was so short, I ended up with less than a full week to get the job done. That said, I managed to take a huge chunk out of the process yesterday, which was a very good feeling. I worked so hard that I forgot to eat lunch and well past dinnertime, I found myself ravenous and cranky. I made plans to grab a quick bite with Eileen and she agreed to make me happy with a visit to Outback for Aussie Chayze Froys. More »
Back in March we learned that model/actress Jaime King named her BFF Taylor Swift as godmother to her then still-incubating baby. Today we learn not only that Jaime gave birth to a beautiful baby boy but we also get to see the precious moment when new godmother Taylor met her godson for the very first time. Leo Thames King-Newman was born back on July 16 but Taylor has been busy touring and feuding in recent weeks so this was her first chance to meet the baby boy. Click below to see two photos shared by Taylor on her official Instagram profile that show the first moments she got to spend with the new love of her life. More »
Earlier this year, singer Eden xo released a new single titled The Weekend which quickly became one of my favorite pop songs o’ the moment. The infectious beat and fun lyrics struck me at first listen and was immediately added to my running playlist (the highest honor I can bestow on any song). AT LONG LAST, Eden xo released the music video for The Weekend that is too cute not to share. Have you ever wondered what it might be like for Disney Princesses to get together and party with friends here in Hollywood? Well, wonder no more. Click the embed above to see the video for Eden xo‘s The Weekend and see how Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel and co. like to get down and party. Keep an eye out for cameos by singer Bonnie McKee (as Cinderella) drag queen Vicky Vox (as Ursula) and Vine star Matt Cutshall (as Prince Phillip). Enjoy!
