Ok, don’t say I didn’t warn you. The Liz & Dick promo is not a trailer and even “teaser” is a strong word here. But during Thursday night’s season premiere of Project Runway, viewers got a tiny little itsy bitsy tease, so I’m sharing it with ya’ll. Again, I stress, it’s like 15 seconds long and horribly uneventful. But you should still totally watch it, lol.

Iggy fans, rejoice! A while back we got to hear a new single (Million Dollar Misfits) from the Australian rapper and this weekend she dropped a new video with T.I. for Murda Bizness. The video is pretty hilarious, as Iggy Azalea transforms into the perfectly horrific pageant Mom, and little girls in tiaras equate show business with murda bizness. Oh, and then there’s T.I., in the ill Bill Cosby sweater. Checkie out!
On Friday we learned that Warner Bros. decided to cancel the Paris premiere of The Dark Knight Rises, in the wake of the massacre in Aurora, Colorado. Many of us agreed that this was the right thing to do, considering the events, the victims, and the likelihood of a difficult red carpet experience for the cast and crew of the film. Now we have learned that Warner Bros. has cancelled two more premiere events, for the same reason. Are they still doing the right thing? Details inside.
Late last night Katherine Jackson, mother to Michael Jackson and the many other Jacksons, was reported missing by her nephew. According to sources at the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department a report was filed on Saturday, and family members have even taken to twitter about it. Earlier in the week we learned about some internal Jackson family beef, much of which centered around young Paris, Michael Jackson‘s daughter. Paris (who’s really been speaking her mind lately) has some interesting things to say about her missing grandmother. Details inside.

Naturally, we know of this “secret” because of a leak … SO take this information with a huge grain of salt. It is possible that we will get a Spice Girls reunion this year after all. More »

Produced by The Dark Knight‘s Christopher Nolan and directed by Zack Snyder (300, Sucker Punch) Man Of Steel is in some very good hands. We now get to experience what the lucky folks at San Diego Comic-Con already have (and some of you at the TDKR premiere too)– the first glimpse of a highly-anticipated project set to premiere next summer. The trailer is earning Snyder some Terrence Malick comparisons (Malick directed The Tree Of Life and The New World) and I don’t see that as a negative. With powerful, poetic imagery and very little dialogue– or action– the Man Of Steel teaser is a work of art in and of itself. Check out the U.S. and International teasers inside.
Yesterday was a bit of a mess for me … as you may recall, I attended a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises Thursday night/Friday morning and, as a result, the rest of my Friday was kind of wrecked. I had my second round of physical therapy on my leg yesterday at noon so I wasn’t able to get much sleep and, well, yeah. I did manage to rally for a late evening run but it wasn’t anything spectacular. Blah. More »
