A couple of weeks ago, we learned that actress Charlize Theron shaved her head for a role in the upcoming sequel film Mad Max: Fury Road. Since then, Charlize has only been seen in public wearing hats covering her new buzzed ‘do. Today, at last, Charlize lets her hair down, as it were, and finally ventures out hatless and gives us our first look at her newly shaved head. More »
Ok, I promise, this is my last Lana Del Rey-related post for like two days. Yesterday we got to see LDR‘s video for National Anthem, which featured A$AP Rocky in the video. And today I shared a list of similar presidential-themed videos. But today we actually get to hear what the two artists sound like together. The song is called Ridin’ and it will appear on A$AP Rocky‘s LongLiveA$AP, which now has a September 11th release. Listen to A$AP and Lana trading potty-mouthed sweet nothings inside.

OMFG! So, yeah, yesterday was one of the most fun days of my LIFE. After many years of talking about it, I finally got to visit the set of Dexter … and it was truly a dream come true. My good friend Mike G., visiting from Michigan, is really good friends with Scott Reynolds, a writer on Dexter. For years, Scott has graciously invited us to visit the set of Dexter but, for one reason or another, we never managed to get it together. Yesterday, the stars aligned and … my life was made. Check out some really fun photos below and see how I spent my day on the set of Dexter. More »

Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, the firstborn child of Madonna, shared a photo snapped in the wardrobe department backstage of her mother’s MDNA World Tour. As you can see below, Lola thought it would be funny to model her mother’s Jean Paul Gaultier-designed cone bra and then share the photo on the official Material Girl Twitter profile. The photo has since been taken down but, clearly, it would seem that the apple does not fall far from the tree. More »
So I got lost in a Zooey Deschanel vortex and ended up on the website she shares with her two friends. It’s called hellogiggles and it’s as adorkable as it sounds. But it also has some really informative pieces that make for great discussion. Recently they shared a piece written by a 6th grade girl who had recently discovered a tumblr/campaign started by Duke University students called, “Who Needs Feminism?” I for one, can think of a lot of people in the entertainment industry who could use a healthy dose of Feminism 101. I won’t mention their names ((LilWayneTerryRichardsonRihannaAdamLevineetc.)). Anyway, according to the site, we all need it. Agree or disagree? Check out what the campaign’s participants have to say inside.

It’s hard to believe that the same brilliant guy who sang Hey Joe and re-wrote The Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock ’69, was also a member of the US Army. But he was. And Retronaut has the pictures to prove it. Jimi Hendrix, like you’ve never seen him before, inside. Oh… and maybe an Elvis-in-the-Army photo or two as well :)
Boo! I’ve got some bummer news for all the David Beckham fans out there … we learn today that Becks has NOT been asked to join the English Olympic Soccer Team ;( As you may recall, Becks (as an ambassador for UK sports) was on hand to kick off the festivities for the forthcoming London 2012 Olympic Games last month when the Olympic Torch first arrived in England … but it would appear that that appearance will be the only way David Beckham will participate in the London 2012 Summer Games :( More »
