A new music video for the Hole song Samantha showed up on Vimeo this week. It’s unclear if the vid was recently made or just recently released. It’s not terrible, to be honest. Despite the fact that Madonna still doesn’t own the rights to the clothing line’s name, it looks like business as usual when it comes to promoting the brand. ‘Entertainment Weekly’ Gives Us Our First Official Look At ‘Dark Shadows’

Last week we got our very first look at the new Dark Shadows film — directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp — when the first photos from the UK set hit the Internets. Today we get our first official look at the film courtesy of Entertainment Weekly magazine. In this week’s issue, EW brings us the first promo photo of the principle cast. Altho the cast looks a WEE bit Addams Family, I am totally digging the over-the-top gothness of the Collins fam. Check out the photo below. More »

Watch: Levi Johnston Claims Sarah Palin Had A ‘Cougar Crush’ On Him

Back in May we got our first look at the cover art for Levi Johnston‘s new book Deer In Headlights and today we get to hear from Levi himself as he promotes the book in a new interview with E! News. As you can hear for yourselves below, Levi explains to E! that Sarah Palin, the failed Vice Presidential candidate who also happens to be the grandmother of his child, used to have a “cougar crush” on him. Apparently, Johnston‘s friends would notice that Palin used to “flirt” with him. Ew. I mean … if you’re going to promote a book full of supposedly trashy Palin family details, what better way to do so than by claiming that your girlfriend’s mom used to hit on you. Wanna hear more? Click below — be warned, the video autoplays. More »

Shel Silverstein Releases A Posthumous New Book Titled ‘Every Thing On It’

Great, great news to pass along for those of you fans of children’s author Shel Silverstein (Where the Sidewalk Ends, A Light in the Attic, etc.) because a new book of his brilliant poetry has been released this week. Silverstein‘s family sorted thru a mountain of his unpublished work and culled together 145 previously unreleased poems that were, for various reasons, left off of his previous books. For Silvertein fans like me, this is a TREASURE TROVE of new poems to read. The world lost a great artist when Silverstien passed away in 1999 … but this new book of poetry promises to remind us all just how lucky we were to have him in the world. Click below to check out the book cover for Every Thing On It and read one of the “new” poems pulblished in this new book. More »

Watch: Bitter Jill Zarin Talks To ‘Good Morning America’ About The ‘Real Housewives’ Franchise

A jaded and bitter-sounding Jill Zarin appeared on Good Morning America this week to discuss her (mostly celebrated) firing from The Real Housewives of NYC and she ended up offering her opinions on the entirety of the Real Housewives franchise on Bravo TV. As those of you familiar with Jill‘s behavior on RHONYC might guess, she had a LOT to say about how “toxic” the franchise is and was very forthcoming about the behavior of other castmembers on other incarnations of the franchise. I’m neither surprised nor shocked at all that Jill was happy to sit down and talk to anyone that would have her. Jill‘s days on TV are numbered so click below if you want one last taste of her.
