Planet Hiltron’s Celebrity Make-Unders Are Still The Funniest Thing Ever

A while back these random images of celebrities gone “normal” started floating around the internet and they were so fun! And a little bit offensive, if you think about what their creator (Danny Evans) might have been saying about “normal” in America. But that’s a more complicated discussion and Planet Hiltron might be the simplest, funniest idea since Celebrigum… except there’s nothing like Celebrigum! So let’s not compare the two. Just check out these hilarious pictures! Sure, you’ve seen some of them already, but does Super-Sized Kimye ever really get old? I didn’t think so :)

Watch: Joaquin Phoenix And Philip Seymour Hoffman Star In Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘The Master’

Considering the TomKat divorce, this is an especially interesting time for us to be getting a movie about the now-controversial belief system of Scientology. According to sources, Philip Seymour Hoffman plays a character based on L. Ron Hubbard, the real-life creator of Scientology. Paul Thomas Anderson will direct The Master, his first film since 2007′s There Will Be Blood, and Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams will co-star. Did I say I can’t wait? I can’t wait. The trailer’s inside and, it is seriously intense. Checkie out.

Movie Review: ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

So, at last, like scores of people here in the US and around the world, I was finally able to see the final installment of the Christopher Nolan Batman Trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, and it is with great pleasure that I can tell you that I loved the movie entirely. Altho there were some minor problems, I’d say that Nolan and his cast of actors did a fine job bringing to a close this series of Batman films. I will do my best to review the film without providing any spoilers that might ruin the movie-going experience for any of you. Click below to see what I think about The Dark Knight Rises. More »

He Is Risen

Whew, I have had a very long night. I was among the throngs of people who attended midnight screenings of The Dark Knight Rises last night/this morning and I am currently operating on just a couple hours of sleep. I’ll post my review of the film a little later on as I still need some time to process the film. I will say right now that I really enjoyed The Dark Knight Rises and I think many of you will enjoy it as well. Obviously, many of us — me included — are affected by the tragedy that took place in Colorado last night/this morning but I urge you to do your best and enjoy your weekend plans as much as possible. Explosives & Booby Traps Reportedly Found At Colorado Gunman’s Home

As I feared, the news out of Aurora, CO — where 12 people were killed and 59 others were injured in a mass shooting at a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises last night/this morning — continues to get worse and scarier. The gunman, James Holmes, armed himself with 4 weapons and numerous gas and/or explosive devices for his siege on the movie theater but FBI agents are now revealing that the gunman’s home is filled with more explosives. Apparently, his apartment has been booby-trapped and it could take some time for the area to be secured. Wow. More »

First Look: Lana Del Rey Plays The Tragic Lover In Her ‘Summertime Sadness’ Video

I was so pumped to see that Ms. LDR had a new video! And then I was a little disheartened to see that it looked an awful lot like her last couple of videos. You know what I mean. Vintage, instagrammy and totally beautiful… if we hadn’t seen so much of it from her already. But still! It’s Lana Del Rey and I love seeing her through just about any lens, so I’ll take it. Plus actress/model Jaime King co-stars, playing her lesbian lover in this tragic tale of summertime sadness. Check out the video inside!
