Last week we got to see the promo video for this week’s Britney Spears tribute episode of Glee and a few days before we got to hear the Glee versions of the Britney songs Gimme More and Boys. Today, just ahead of the television debut of the Britney 2.0 episode this coming Thursday night, we get to hear the Glee version of Oops I Did It Again. As you can hear above, Oops is performed by Lea Michele‘s character Rachel Berry. Take a listen, see what you think.
Don’t act like this song doesn’t pop into your head at least once (or twice) a week. Justin Timberlake‘s 2002 smash hit Cry Me A River is still a pretty big deal and B. Dolla doesn’t want us to forget it The Virginia native just remixed everybody’s favorite break up song and I am love, love, loving it! I never use this word because I’m not that kind of New York chic but… this remix is bananas (Ashanti voice)! Who says Mondays have to suck? Take a listen and check out B. Dolla‘s Facebook page for more.

Yesterday was a very fun day, mostly … well, when I was out of the blistering SoCal heat. Trust me, I’m not complaining … while folks in the rest of the country are lamenting the “end of Summer”, we here in LA are enjoying the fruits of the endless Summer :D David and I grabbed a delish brunch at The Churchill before he had to get to work and I had to get to an air-conditioned movie theater to see Finding Nemo in 3D. I ended up taking a bit of a drive to see the movie but it was WELL worth it … I didn’t think it would be possible but I loved watching Finding Nemo this time even more than I did when it was first released in theaters 9 years ago. It would seem that Lindsay Lohan is getting fed up with Amanda Bynes‘s ability to break the law without having to suffer any of the consequences that she suffered when she was in the habit of breaking the law. Last night, L. Lo posted a couple of tweets on her official Twitter profile that seemingly refer to Amanda‘s recent alleged illegal behavior in a “poor me” sort of way. As you can read below, Lindsay is dumbfounded as to why she was “put in jail” and “a nickelodeon star” (ie. Amanda Bynes) has had “no punishment (so far)”. HMMM. It sounds to me like a certain trainwreck all star is getting jealous that a new up and coming trainwreck is stealing all of her thunder. More »

Yesterday we learned officially that Fox has finally settled on the judging panel for the forthcoming season of American Idol and, as you may recall, we got our first look at all 4 judges — Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson — gathered together for a candid group photo with Ryan Seacrest and some Idol staffers. Today we get to see the first official photo of the judging panel as they sit behind the AI desk on their first day of work. Click below to see all the smiling faces from the new group of American Idol judges. More »
Last week the French magazine Closer published topless photos of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. Mere moments after the photos went public, the British Royal Family voiced its outrage and shortly thereafter launched a lawsuit against the mag and issued legal threats to any other publication that might decide to publish the photos. Today we learn that Italian magazine Chi not only published some of the original photos in their new issue but they also published other previously unseen topless photos of Kate (which were taken at the same time as the originals — as I understand it, there were about 200 photos taken of Kate and Wills in Provence, France). Despite the wishes of the British Royal Family, it would seem that European magazines have no plans to stop publishing these photos. More »
Last month we got to see that crazy controversial cover featuring Azealia Banks in the September issue of Dazed & Confused. The image of Miss Banks blowing up a condom got the magazine banned in several countries, but the interview was really quite interesting. This month, the folks over at D&C are going for a less controversial look, although their cover story does take a well-known biblical story for quite a spin. Supermodel Joan Smalls (recently named the number one model in the industry) and Sam Riley (of On The Road) cover the October issue of Dazed & Confused as a retro Adam & Eve. I absolutely love the photo shoot they did (in the gallery) and they’ve even got a short video, inside!
After much jubilant celebration at the news that trainwreck former actress Amanda Bynes had her drivers license suspended in the wake of multiple hit and run charges and one DUI charge (all in the span of 6 months), many of us were HORRIFIED by the evidence that Amanda was able to continue driving (among other things) even after she was pulled over by police DESPITE the fact that she was not legally allowed to be behind the wheel. Yesterday, the long arm of the law FINALLY caught up with Bynes — which is welcome news. Amanda was pulled over by police as she drove around SoCal and was cited for driving on a suspended license. This news in and of itself is good news … but the BEST news is that police impounded her car so that she no longer has a car to drive, even if she wants to. More »
