Sandra Bullock Surfaces Sans Wedding Ring

Entertainment Tonight managed to score the first clear photos of Sandra Bullock out in public since the cheating scandal involving her husband Jesse James broke over a month ago. Apparently, Sandra stepped out for a solitary stroll in Northern California last Friday and an adept photographer managed to snap the photos … which clearly show that she was NOT wearing her wedding ring. You may recall at the start of this month, Sandra was first spotted out in public … but in those photos, she was hiding underneath a huge hat … clearly in no mood for photos. This time around, Sandra managed to give a couple of smiles … which might mean she is ready to move on with her life (without James?) and return to the land of the living:

In an Entertainment Tonight exclusive, we have obtained the worldwide rights to the first photo of Sandra Bullock without her wedding ring since her husband Jesse James’ affair scandal broke. The Oscar winner was out last Friday taking a hike in Northern California. In our photo — drinking coffee and wearing a hat, with a scarf around her neck — the star looked somber despite the occasional smile, wearing barely any makeup. Sandra’s left hand, in plain sight, was undoubtedly unadorned, with no sight of her vintage French platinum band along with intertwining diamonds. This is in contrast to happier times when she proudly wore her wedding jewelry. Even on Oscar night, despite wearing minimal jewelry, she did wear the diamonds on her wedding finger. It’s been 33 days since Jesse’s alleged affairs made headlines, and the actress has not shown her face in public until now.

Sandra may have peeked her head out quickly earlier this month and even issued an official public statement a few weeks later but I think this is the first sign that she is ready to move forward with her life. Only she knows what Jesse James has done to her so only she can know what’s best for her … I think I’m not alone in the hopes that she will just cut him loose and move on. In the long run, she will be fine … I just know it. It’s just really nice to see her lookin’ fairly well, especially after all of the bullshizz her husband has put her thru.

Ian Somerhalder Does ‘GQ’ Magazine

Ian Somerhalder, the bad boy vamp on The Vampire Diaries, is featured in the new issue of GQ magazine modeling the hottest colored shirts to wear this season. IMHO, Ian looks better when he’s not wearing suits but even I have to admit … he can wear a suit very well. Here is one of his GQ photos along with some excerpts from his very short accompanying interview:

On how J.J. Abrams picked the right moment to tell him he’d been killed off Lost:
“I was in wine country, man, with a beautiful girl. I said to J.J., ‘Your timing is impeccable. If I’d been at a Denny’s I would have started crying.’ I downed a couple of bottles of Pinot and I was set.”

On being accosted in airports by obsessed fans of both Lost and The Vampire Diaries:
“The decibel level at which a 13-year-old can explain how much she loves you—it’s the coolest thing ever.”

Over the weekend we learned that actors Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgård spent a lot of time cozying up to one another at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival so much so that even more photos of the presumed new lovebirds keep coming to light. I mean … when a relationship has reached the point were the lady wants the gentleman to put his head between her legs, that’s a sure sign that lurve is in the air:

First Look: ‘Sex And The City 2’ The Soundtrack

Marc Malkin from E! News brings us our first look at the album artwork for the soundtrack to Sex and the City 2 (due out in theaters next month) as well a bunch of great news about what is included on the disc. Not only have some of the most exciting musical performers recorded songs for the album but so, too, have the Sex and the City ladies themselves … Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis! Here is what the album art looks like and the deets about this must-own soundtrack:

Sex and the City has never sounded better. If the trailers for the SATC sequel weren’t enough to drive us bonkers with anticipation for the movie to open next month, wait till you hear the soundtrack … It is full of music superstars and even a handful of original tunes …Alicia Keys performs a cover of Blondie’s 1980s classic “Rapture.” And it’s not just any cover, it’s a mash-up with the iconic Sex and the City theme song that’s played during the movie’s opening theme … “Rapture” and the SATC theme go together like a frosty cosmo and a pair of Manolo Blahniks. It just feels and sounds so right. Soundtrack label WaterTower Music honcho Jason Linn tells me über-producer Salaam Remi had Keys in mind when he created the mix. “We’re so fortunate to have her,” Linn said. “She’s the perfect voice to introduce the…music of Sex and the City 2.” Next up is the return of Jennifer Hudson. Nope, the Oscar winner is not reprising her role as Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant, but she is back in song. She and Brit songbird Leona Lewis duet on an original ballad written for the movie called “Love Is Your Color” … Even the stars of the movie are on the soundtrack with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon performing the Helen Reddy karaoke favorite, “I Am Woman.” As you may have already heard, Liza Minnelli covers Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” as well as a new rendition of Cole Porter’s “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye.” The soundtrack, which also has new music from Dido and Cee Lo, will be released on May 25, just two days before SATC hits theaters.

What a great soundtrack … I mean, Liza singing Beyoncé‘s Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)? Are you kidding me? Brilliant. I also love that Jennifer Hudson is contributing a new song for the soundtrack as well … the whole damn thing sounds amazing. While I’m a wee bit bummed that this soundtrack news had to spill the secret of which karaoke song the SaTC ladies perform in the film, I’m happy to know that it will be included on the soundtrack. I cannot wait to get my hands on this album … but make no mistake, my real excitement is for the film! May 27, get here NOW please!

Michael C. Hall Gets Back To Work

Earlier this month we saw a couple photos of Michael C. Hall, who has been battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer for the past few months, lookin’ active and well here in SoCal and today we get to see newer photos of MCH looking fantastic this week on the NYC set of his new film East Fifth Bliss. This is the first time MCH has been seen at work on a new project since his cancer illness was revealed early this year:

Michael C Hall has been bravely battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and it looks like he is definitely winning the fight. RadarOnline.com is glad to be able to bring you the pictures that show the Dexter star looking hearty and healthy once again. Hall, who lost all his hair due to chemotherapy treatments, and appeared frail and sickly at the Golden Globe awards just months ago, was spotted on location as he returned to work Monday. The actor was kitted out in a very convincing wig as he filmed scenes for his upcoming movie, East Fifth Bliss. Movie goers will be in for a surprise, as the film is a comedy, a distinct change of pace from Michael C Hall’s Dexter character – who is a vicious, though moralistic, serial killer.

Yay!! This is the best news ever. Even tho Michael C. Hall has to wear a wig right now, he looks totally back to his good ol’ self. What is most shocking to me is the thought of MCH starring in a comedy film … I don’t even know what to think about that. I hope we get to see more photos of MCH hard at work on his new film … it’ll be good practice for when he starts work on the next season of Dexter this Summer. You are lookin’ damn good, Michael … it’s amazing to see you looking so well :)

Baby On Board

Yesterday afternoon, David and I made our way to Santa Monica, CA to visit with our dear friends Sashie, Will and their beautiful baby boy Japser for a quick visit with them during their short stay in LA. The happy family made their way down the coast today so we had to make sure to get out and see them yesterday while they were in town:


It’s crazy how big little Jasper has grown since we last saw him last September … and he is such a doll. It was really great getting to catch up with Sashie and Will and to play with Jasper. We had a fantastic day in Santa Monica.

Last night, after a quick dessert stop at Joan’s on Third, David and I made it an early night in.

I hear it’s supposed to rain today so the gloom will likely keep us indoors for most of the day … I’m hoping to meet up with Jordan for dinner tonight … he’s been out of town for ages, it’ll be nice to see him again. I hope your Tuesday is going well :)

Here are a few left-overs from last weekend’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival … Lindsay Lohan and Josh Hartnett were among the celebs who attended the Kanon Organic Vodka BBQ in Palm Springs on Saturday and they happily posed for a few Polaroid photos … check ‘em out:


The BBQ was hosted by Chrissie Miller of Sophomore and managed to attract a few celebs. I just LOVE that someone had the brilliant idea to bring along a Polaroid camera to snap photos of some of the attendees. Nothing makes me happier than seeing Polaroid photos in use … especially since they look like photos that were snapped in the 70′s. L. Lo looks like she would’ve made a pretty cool hippie, don’tcha think?

Jude Law & Sienna Miller Bring The Creepover To SoCal

When last we heard *anything* from either Jude Law or Sienna Miller about their new relationship, Sienna was telling the world how happy she was to be back together with Jude … but that was in February and the couple hadn’t been seen nor heard from since. I’m happy to report that JuSie are still going strong, as the couple were spotted doing a bit of couple’s shopping at Maxfield’s here in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday … behold:


Oh yes, the couple that can find happiness shopping together has a great chance of staying together. It would seem that Jude and Sienna are doing more than just flinging … sure, they may not be together 24/7 and weeks may go by without their seeing one another but clearly they have enough things in common to keep coming back for more. They seem really happy and appear quite well-suited for one another. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that JuSie is here to stay.

Channing Tatum Dresses Down In Manhattan

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been professing my lurve for the beefier-looking Channing Tatum on the NYC set of his new film Son of No One … while some of you have taken issue with my fondness for his more rotund appearance and his trashtastic porn’stache, I’ve been quite happy to stick up for Team Channing. But, I’m sorry to admit that today I’m no longer able to speak fondly of Channing and his latest outfit choice. Here are a few photos of Chan the man checking out an exhibit at a gallery in SoHo yesterday wearing an outfit that is beyond wrong:


Now, I can forgive many things … I can even overlook many others … but Channing has really taken things too far this time. His outfit, tho poorly matched, isn’t even the problem … it’s the horrendous footwear he decided to wear — in public:


That’s right, y’all … homeboy is wearing those ATROCIOUS sock shoe things that make Crocs look like fashionable footwear. I’m actually quite horrified, to be honest. I love me some Channing but he is lookin’ like a WORLD OF NO in these photos. Lawdy, pass the smelling salts … I think I’m feeling faint.
