Dear Anthony Vaccarello‘s Dresses,
I love you… and I loathe you. I love you because you are beautiful, futuristic, and dripping with intensity. I loathe you because I have no place to wear you. I’m also a size 4/6 depending on whether or not I worked out this week and I probably didn’t; and you don’t come in size 4/6, now do you? That’s okay, it’s fine, I’m fine with that. Whatever. Just stop making me wish I had a reason to buy you… and the money with which to do so. Just stop, okay?
Ridley Scott‘s new sci-fi film Prometheus opens in theaters here in the US this Friday and to promote its release, a couple of new TV spots have been released that creepily feature the classic bedtime song Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. I’m guessing that the lullaby nature of the song has something to do with the film’s plot — which I’m hearing from people who have seen the film is NOT a prequel to Alien (as has been assumed by many). Click below to check out these new TV spots and see if they put you in the mood for a good night’s sleep. More »

HMMM … today we learn that MTV is planning to bring the Scream horror film franchise to the small screen with a new TV series that will be helmed by the folks who brought into the world the MTV shows Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills. According to the report, producers Tony DiSanto and Liz Gately are currently looking for a writer to pen the series … and it is not yet known if Scream creator/writer Kevin Williamson and/or director Wes Craven will at all be involved. This all sounds … worrisome. More »

It’s the dream: rap, pop culture, and Scott Disick collide in ways that have only occurred in my dreams. Or nightmares, not sure which yet. No, no, definitely my dreams. If you are a fan of comedy, because that’s what this is– pure comedy– please watch the video and comment me your thoughts. I for one, almost fell over when I saw this and then I thought to myself, self calm down. There is no way it’s going to be as funny as you’ve already imagined it to be. There is no way Scott Disick knows the lyrics to this song and will rap them with a faux do-rag tied across his head. Well, PITNBrs I was wrong. Dead Wrong (Biggie reference). Please come join me in some seriously happy Happy Time.
Baby Blue Ivy is already nearly 6 months old and we haven’t seen her blessed face aside from those first pics that her parents, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, published themselves just after she was born. As you will recall, we have seen LOTS of pics of Blue covered in various cloths and towels to hide her face while out and about with mom and dad in New York City. Usually momma Bey is the one carrying the bubby, but today it is daddy Jay’s turn. B-Jay rocked up in Paris today with their daughter, but of course she she is under wraps. One thing is for sure though, her lil’ feet have grown. More »
Sarah, Mark and I made our way into downtown Detroit to see the Detroit Tigers take on the New York Yankees at Comerica Park. Altho the game didn’t quite turn out in our favor, we had a blast nonetheless. The weather was beautiful, the game was sold out and there were smiling, happy faces everwhere … er, until we started losing the game. Still, there are far worse things in life than getting to hang out with friends at the ball park on a beautiful (almost) Summer day. More »
