Last week we got a sneak peek at Carly Rae Jepsen‘s music video for her new single This Kiss and today we get to see the final product in full. As you may recall, the video teaser we saw last week didn’t look all that exciting and it was hoped that the full video would give us a bit more to sing about. Unfortch, it does not. The video is cute and all but it’s really … not really interesting. At all. STILL, I love the track and I could listen to this song over and over again. If you like the song but not the video so much, you can click below to watch the official lyric video for This Kiss which, IMHO, is just as good if not better than the music video itself. More »
Because Hallowe’en falls midweek this coming Wednesday, the lion’s share of big Hallowe’en parties took place over the weekend last Saturday night. Among the big parties here in LA was the annual Hallowe’en party at the Playboy Mansion. Hugh Hefner and his ladylove (again) Crystal Harris opened up the doors of the famed Playboy Mansion to some of their celebrity friends. Celebs like Neil Patrick Harris, Jeremy Renner, Sean P. Diddy Combs, Ne-Yo and more were invited to celebrate at the Castle of Lost Souls-themed soirée. Click below to see some photos from this weekend’s Hallowe’en fete at the Playboy Mansion to see some of the fun costumes that were on display at the event. More »
As the East Coast portion of the United States braced for the forthcoming impact of Hurricane Sandy last night, Lindsay Lohan took to her official Twitter profile last night to tweet a bunch of nonsense to her followers. Not understanding the true severity of the coming storm, Lindsay wondered aloud (on Twitter) why “everyone in SUCH a panic” about Hurricane Sandy (which she refers to as Hurricane Sally). From that point on, she posted more messages one after the other that gave us all a glimpse into her mental process last night. From Hurricane
Sandy Sally, to pontifications on Fame to Adam Lambert (randomly), L. Lo was in a real sharing mood last night. Click below to read some of her nonsensical tweets. More »

Warning: This is an extremely difficult song to listen to… I actually started writing this post a week or so ago and every time I listened to the song again I questioned whether or not I should actually share it. It is so graphic, and so intense… and the reason I am sharing it is because we write about plenty of NSFW videos and images and songs and I think it would be a little bit hypocritical of me to not share this one. Angel Haze is an artist who we just got introduced to; she kinda blew me away at the BET Hip Hop Awards and then she released a video for her song Werkin’ Girls. Honestly? There’s not a lot I can say about this song. Angel Haze holds absolutely nothing back as she recounts her experiences with rape as a young girl, and the devastating effects those experiences had on her life. It’s like the book PUSH, the movie Precious, an Alice Walker novel, and a Toni Morrison plot all in a rap song… over the most appropriate Eminem beat. So I had to share. Looking forward to hearing what you guys think about the track. Is it too much? Too graphic? Or is it just a strong example of true, honest storytelling (something Hip-Hop and music in general will always need)?

As we move into the final week of the 2012 Presidential Election here in the US, last minute endorsement videos are starting to make their closing arguments on TV and online. Today we get to see a just-released endorsement video made by director Joss Whedon … for Mitt Romney. That’s right folks, Joss is endorsing Romney … for the Zombie Apocalypse! LOL! The video truly speaks for itself. Check out the video above and see what Joss has to say about this very important presidental election.

For fans of Amy Winehouse this may or may not be good news. A theatre company in Copenhagen is working on a play on the life, times, and music of the late Amy Winehouse. Posthumous works can be tricky, depending on who is (and who is not involved). So far, Amy Winehouse‘s family is not involved in this production and we know they’ve voiced concerns in the past over tributes to Amy, like that Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show back in January. Click inside to learn more about the upcoming show.

Yesterday we got a look at our favorite celebs looking all kinds of crazy in their respective Hallowe’en costumes, which was hella fun. I’m still not over Diddy‘s costume. Like, not at all. But today everything’s back to normal, as our beloved celebrities are back in their element, on the red carpet. The 2012 LACMA Film & Arts Gala went down in Hollywood and some of my favorite people to stare at were in the building. Kerry Washington, Robert Pattinson, Salma Hayek, and Amber Valletta (aka Lydia from Revenge) were in attendance, and they all looked amazing. Cameron Diaz, Amber Heard, and Karlie Kloss also rocked it. But… Ginnifer Goodwin… looked like a god among men. She wore a Gucci dress (practically everyone was in Gucci, as the fashion house chaired the event) and she absolutely slayed the red carpet. It was awkward, lol. Peep the gallery for more! Whose look are you lovin’?

Ove the past few months we’ve gotten to experience so many awesome sneak peeks at the new movie Hitchcock. Back in May we saw leading ladies Scarlett Johannson and Jessica Biel on set and in costume, and earlier this month we saw new stills from the movie, a movie poster featuring the great Anthony Hopkins (nearly unrecognizable as Alfred Hitchcock), and finally we got to watch the very promising trailer for the film itself. I, for one, am excited. And I’m loving this new poster, which features Helen Mirren and Hopkins as a husband and wife duo like no other. Checkie out inside!

Last month we got our first look at baby girl Breeze Baretta, daughter of Levi Johnston and Sunny Oglesby. Many of us had not-so-high expectations of Levi Johnston as a father of two, after his on again/off again engagement to Bristol Palin, with whom he has a four year-old son Tripp. But Levi is apparently not interested in having two babymamas (one will usually suffice)– and he got hitched! Levi and Sunny tied the knot yesterday in Alaska, y’all! Congratulations are pretty much in order.
