Y’all know I will pay attention to anything Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect, Bridesmaids) says, even if it’s related to the Miss. Honey Boo Boo herself. Now in all fairness, I haven’t watched a full episode of the *hit* show which recently made headlines for garnering more viewers than the Republican National Convention. I have watched a few minutes of a few episodes but usually I have to walk away to… sort of… get myself back together. I’m seriously hoping to make it through an episode soon; wish me luck (lmao)! Anyway, my favorite person ever Rebel Wilson was recently on Chelsea Lately as a guest host and orchestrated an intense roundtable discussion on the joy and pain that is Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Enjoy!
Victoria Beckham, who is always the impeccable model of fashion and style perfection, posted a very shocking photo on her official Twitter profile where she declared that she felt like and “old bag”. For years, VB has managed to keep up a reputation of style and grace so this admission is sure to turn heads. Click below to see Vicki B‘s full-size photo and see the “old bag” with your own eyes. This past week at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC, actors and ex-lovers Scarlett Johansson and Jared Leto were spotted looking very cozy with one another. The pair were seated with the celebrity delegation and as you can see in the photos below, they got very touchy-feely with one another. While the photos are innocent enough, the fact that they were so free with the hand-holding is both endearing and … suspicious? I dunno. As far as I know, Scarlett is still with her art dealer boyfriend Nate Naylor so … who knows. Check out the photos below and see what you think. More »
After a quick 5K run here in Dearborn, MI yesterday, I made my way to the airport to pick up David who flew in from LA yesterday morning. He made it just in time for us all to head out to Downtown Plymouth, MI to celebrate Sarah’s birthday (which was last Tuesday). Because Plymouth is one of the poshier towns in MI, we were surrounded by candidates for the Bravo TV series The Real Housewives of Plymouth (should they ever decide to make such a show). We had so much fun on the town, it was a really fun way to celebrate Sarah’s birthday. More »
Adoption is a fascinating subject that often has many social and cultural complications. Having studied the subject in a really amazing anthropology course a few years back (and being adopted myself), I’m always interested in new projects that attempt to tackle the subject. Somewhere Between is a film that opened in limited release last month and it chronicles the journey of young Chinese adoptees in America who travel back to China. Since China‘s ‘One Child‘ policy began in 1979, approximately 80,000 girls have been given homes in America…but many of them still feel like they exist between two cultures. It looks like Somewhere Between will try to zone in on the unique space four of these teenage girls occupy, and I’m really excited to see how the documentary pans out. Peep the trailer for more!

If you were watching the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday then you probably caught these new promos for the final season of Jersey Shore. When Trent first reported that the show would be dunzo after the upcoming sixth season, he suggested that we ‘pour one out’ for the television experience that was kinda fun, and then kinda gross, lol. I think the creators of these two new promos are doing exactly that, as they encourage us to say goodbye to the yesterdays of GTL. I’m not gonna front. Even though I barely watched the last season, I’ll miss the madness! But it’s definitely their time. Peep the first promo above, set to the musical accompaniment of a Boyz II Men classic, and there’s a second clip inside.
