It had something to do with jalapeños
I am literally shaking my head right now. Sigh. Have you ever caught yourself clicking on something so click-baity, and then enjoying it immensely, and feeling a little bit guilty for being so ridiculous? (i.e. All those times I’ve watched that Pandas on a Slide video… like, even right now, because I had to pull up the link, and I’ve started watching it again…) Prepare to feel similarly ridiculous as you watch Chrissy Teigen pour milk all over herself like a crazy person.

Love her, but I find this Instagram post problematic
In my short time writing for this blog, I’ve learned that you really have to think carefully about messages you put out there. If you’re writing about important issues like feminism or racism, you have to consider the responses and rebuttals, and ask yourself if you stand by your words. I’ve said things I wish I could maybe take back or re-phrase, but it’s all been a part of the learning process. And I have a much smaller audience, I think, than January Jones so I can’t help but take issue with this message she posted on her Instagram account, in which she declares that men “should serve women and stop acting like little bitches with vaginas.” Um. Yeah. That’s what we’re dealing with here. Click inside for more!

Remember that odd story that we heard a few weeks ago of Jamie Lynn Spears whipping out a serrated bread knife to fend off attackers who threatened her and a friend at a sandwich shop in Hammond, LA? Well, because the gods are good to us, surveillance video of the incident has made its way into the hands of TMZ who are happily sharing the video with the rest of us today. As you may recall, Jamie Lynn and her friend Brandi Smith-Mitchell got inadvertently caught up in a fight that broke out at the Pita Pit sandwich shop and when her friend was threatened by the thugs, Jamie Lynn ran behind the counter to grab a knife in defense of her friend. Video of the entire incident has finally made its way to our eyeballs … and you can watch in full above. The story sounded crazy when we read about it, wait until you see it play out in video.
Not a good look, 'Celebrity Apprentice'
Let me just start by saying this clip lit’rally hurt my head. I have my own reality TV weaknesses, but this is one reason I can only take so much of these shows—OMG everyone is constantly talking over everyone! It took me forever just to figure out WTF was going on! But apparently, Keshia Knight Pulliam (best remembered as Rudy Huxtable from The Cosby Show) had to awkwardly explain that she hasn’t spoken to Bill Cosby in five years. But it’s awkward because of what we know now, and it’s awkward because everyone in the room (especially Kenya Moore) is attacking her for not having called him to get a donation for a charity. This was filmed long before the sexual assault allegations started making headlines, but Complex points out that some sort of editing or disclaimer should have happened here. I mean, Pulliam is basically fired for not making contact with Cosby. Peep the video for more, and tell us what you think. Also, click inside for a horrific video of all the Bill Cosby accusers speaking out.
'Rebel Heart' promo
For the past year, well before she went into panic/self-preservation mode in the wake of the devastating leak of over 30 of her unfinished demo songs, Madonna has been using her social media accounts to promote the forthcoming release of her new album Rebel Heart. Since she was forced to push up the release of new music to combat the song leaks, she has started promoting her album with fanmade images of famous and notable people mimicking the cover art for Rebel Heart — which features Madonna‘s face tied up with black chords. It started out innocently enough with photos of her famous friends and collaborators like Miley Cyrus, Diplo, Skrillex etc. but this week, Madonna started using photos of world leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela and even Jesus Christ — which seems to many people like she is comparing herself and the promotion of her album to some of the greatest people to have walked the earth. Others have also bristled at the sight of a Caucasian woman posting images of Black men tied up in cords just to peddle an album. Madonna, unsurprisingly, sees absolutely nothing wrong with what she is doing … and she makes her feelings on the matter very clear in the message she posted on her official Facebook profile which you can read in full below. Her boo Patrick Schwarzenegger picked it out...
The last time I checked up on Miley Cyrus, she was… wait. Yeah, no. I still have no words for what she was doing, but I’m pretty sure I was against it. Similarly, I find myself morally opposed to her comforter and matching onesie. Then again, I was just on Bed, Bath and Beyond getting myself a Happy 2015 You Need A New Friggen Comforter gift, and I realized that my tastes have certainly shifted over the years. Now, I love pizza as much as/more than anyone else, but Miley—you’ve gone too far (once again). Click inside for more!
She has since removed the photo from Instagram
Selena Gomez and a bunch of friends made their way to Abu Dhabi to celebrate the arrival of 2015 and she managed to cause a major controversy in the process. Selena and co. paid a visit to the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and she very disrespectfully exposed her ankles inside the mosque for a photo opp that she shared on her official Instagram profile. While an exposed ankle may sound like a non-issue to us in the Western World, it is a major offense in the Muslim World. Click below to see the photo that caused this controversy in Abu Dhabi (which Selena originally shared on Instagram then removed after it was deemed offensive by Muslims) and learn more about this, IMHO, disrespectful and childish incident. Drama at the Pita Pit
As far as crazy stories go, this one has to be THE craziest I’ve heard in a while … deff one for the That-Ish-Cray Hall of Fame … TMZ is reporting that Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of our dear Britney Spears, got into a dangerous-sounding altercation at a sandwich shop in Hammond, Louisiana last weekend when she was forced to defend her friend Brandi Smith-Mitchell from an unprovoked physical assault. According to the report, after Brandi was assaulted, JL leaped into action to protect her friend by jumping behind the sandwich counter and pulling a serrated bread knife on the attackers. I mean … what? More »
[Insert Words Here]
It’s taken me a solid two minutes to come up with this sentence alone. I truly do not know what to think, or where to begin, or where to go. This is so weird and maybe disgusting, and probably controversial, but maybe also problematic, or just ridiculous, and maybe even/also hilarious. Please, help me pick one or three of these words to describe Miley Cyrus’s latest Instagram photos in celebration of the Free The Nipple movement.
"They're barely talking", says a source
In September we learned that actress Eva Mendes gave birth to her baby with Ryan Gosling. In November, she revealed the inspiration for their daugther’s name Esmeralda Amada and early this month, she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk a tiny bit about being a new mother. All the while, Ryan has been hard at work on the set of his new movie. Today we are hearing a very troubling rumor that the couple aren’t doing so well in the wake of the birth of their baby because the reportedly estranged couple is “barely talking” to one another. HMMM. Could it be? Could new babydaddy Ryan really be lookin’ to be single again? More »
