Fox Considers Bringing ’24′ Back To TV

Yesterday afternoon a LOT of news came out concerning which TV shows got renewed for next season and which TV shows did not get renewed … but among the melee of happy/sad news came the report that Fox is considering bringing the AMAZING series 24 back to TV! Yes, folks, 24 may be back on the air very soon. At this point, nothing has been decided officially … but according to Deadline, Kiefer Sutherland has been approached to reprise his role as Jack Bauer … if he signs on, 24 will likely come back as a “limited series”. Marriage Equality Comes To Delaware

DE Becomes the 11th State to Legalize Same-Sex Marriage!

Just last Friday we learned that the state of Rhode Island became the 10th state in the United States of America to legalize same-sex marriage and today we learn that just last night, Delaware became the 11th state to legalize same-sex marriage. Just days after the RI legislature passed their bill and Governor Lincoln Chafee signed it into law, the DE legislature followed suit last night. Delaware Governor Jack Markell wasted NO TIME signing that state’s bill into law, bringing the total states to enjoy marriage equality to 11! Happy, Happy Day!! More »

So … you’re gonna hafta indulge a bit of gratuitousness in this post but … when I came upon these new photos of British Olympic diver Tom Daley doing his thing at a training facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL yesterday … well … I simply had to share the wealthy. Altho I’m not a big sports person, there are some sports that catch my eye from time to time. I become a hockey fan when my beloved Detroit Red Wings make the playoffs, I become a baseball fan anytime I go to the ball park (either here in LA, at home in Detroit or on vacay in NY) and I’ll be a soccer fan as long as David Beckham still plays professionally. Tom Daley had made me a bit of a diving fan because, well, it’s a fun sport to watch. Click thru the gallery to see Daley in action as he practices his diving skills. I think these photos might make you a bit of a diving fan as well ;)

His extreme hotness Ryan Gosling is currently in Detroit, MI directing his first film How to Catch a Monster and lest you think Gosling is the kind of director who sits his butt on a chair while everyone else does the manual labor around him, I have a few photos to share with all y’all to show that that is not the case. Over the weekend, Ryan was spied doing quite a bit of heavy lifting on set because that’s just the kind of guy he is. It might not sound all that exciting … but when you see the photos, I think you’ll find all this heavy lifting a lot more exciting than you may have thought. More »

Half Way to a Full Reunion of The Smiths

Last month I got to see Johnny Marr of The Smiths live in concert during weekend 1 of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA but last night, he performed a concert in Brooklyn, NY that leaves me seething with envy. During his set, Johnny brought up a fellow member of The Smiths for a performance of classic single How Soon Is Now? Bassist Andy Rourke joined Johnny on stage last night for, essentially, what turned out to be a 50% reunion of The Smiths. Check out the embed above to see this mini-reunion and seethe with jealousy along with me.

Also, I wonder how many times Morrissey has watched this clip already ;)

Last week we learned the happy news that the Senate of the great state of Rhode Island voted to legalize same-sex marriage and all that was required to pass the bill into law was another vote by the state House of Representatives and the signature of the governor. Earlier in the week, the House also passed the bill and last night Governor Lincoln Chafee signed the bill into law … making Rhode Island the 10th state in the United States of America to legalize same-sex marriage. Olympic Gold Medalist Ryan Lochte‘s E! reality TV series What Would Ryan Lochte Do? has been on the air for about 2 weeks now and the show has FINALLY given us something to cheer about. As you may know, the show follows Ryan around and he does stuff in order to give us an “understanding” of what it’s like to be Ryan Lochte. Much of what is shown, I have to admit, is brainless but pretty harmless. On this week’s ep, tho, we finally hit pay dirt. In the embed above, Ryan explains that he shaves off all of his body hair … even the “bits you don’t see” … then, he shows us how it’s done. According to Lochte, it takes about “4 or 5″ hours to shave his entire body, which he does with gold-plated razors. So, to answer the question, this is what Ryan Lochte would do.

‘Downton Abbey’ Casts Its First Black Character

Earlier this year we learned that Downtown Abbey has cast a new leading man for the upcoming 4th season of the series but today we learn that another, more interesting casting choice has been made as well. Those of you who are familiar with the British TV drama know that the show features only Caucasian characters … that is, until now. Downton creator Gareth Neame has revealed that the show has cast its first Black actor who will bring, he says, “interesting twists” to the story. I say, it’s about damn time. More »

Britney Spears Spotted Sneaking Into A Recording Studio

So, we know that our dear Britney Spears is working on her next album … and we know that she’s already recorded a new song for the upcoming soundtrack to The Smurfs 2 but it appears that Brit Brit is still very much hard at work recording new music. Britney was spotted sneaking into the Record Plant recording studio here in LA yesterday which means OMG she’s still recording new songs!!!
