A Newer Day
Last summer, after her husband René fell ill, Canadian chanteuse Céline Dion announced that she would be taking an indefinite hiatus from her Las Vegas concert residency at Caesar’s Palace to care for her ailing husband. Today, Céline has announced that the hiatus will end this summer when she returns to The Colosseum inside Caesar’s to resume her stunningly successful concert residency. As a big Céline fan who has amazingly missed out on seeing her live in concert in Vegas, I am ecstatic by this news! More »

Plus a bunch of 'Beauty and the Beast' News
Luke Evans, who we learned earlier this month will play Gaston alongside Emma Watson‘s Belle and Dan Stevens‘s Beast in Disney‘s upcoming live-action movie adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, shared a fun photo on his official Twitter profile that shows us what his Beauty character will look like while mostly nekkid. Believe me, the photo posted below is more than enough to warrant a blog post but I do have some other Beauty and the Beast news to share as well. The roles of Mrs. Potts and Belle‘s father Maurice have been cast and the release date for the movie has been officially revealed. Click below to get an eyeful of mostly nekkid Gaston and learn all this great new B&B news all at the same time. More »
And that is FINE by me
Last month we learned just how hot DJ/producer Calvin Harris truly is when the photos from his new ad campaign for Emporio Armani Underwear were released. Today we see that Harris is still having a hard time staying completely dressed on the cover and in the pages of the newest issue of The Sunday Times: Style magazine. As you can see below, Calvin shows off his hot bod in the cover photo shared below … which gets no complaints from me whatsoever. I honestly don’t even think about Calvin Harris as a musician anymore … one look at these new photos and all you’ll be thinking about is body. More »
Scorsese's first boxing movie since "Raging Bull"
There have been so many movies that have left an impression on me over the years, but I never could have predicted that a Mike Tyson special would be one of them. I watched HBO‘s Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth so long ago, but I still remember having my jaw on the floor throughout most of it. It was an amazing, heartbreaking, terrifying story, and it’s all I can think about now that I know one of my favorite directors is going to tell his life story. Martin Scorsese is directing Jamie Foxx in the new Tyson biopic and I CANNOT WAIT. Click inside for more!
Will he bring The Rock Obama back?
Last week I read a really smart takedown of one of Saturday Night Live‘s most ridiculously un-funny sketches, the parody of Empire. The whole premise of the joke was that white people aren’t watching the show, which is honestly just stupid when the show has been breaking ratings records all over the place. I get that the idea of Chris Hemsworth on Empire was funny, but the joke didn’t work for a lot of us. Suffice it to say, I haven’t been especially pressed to watch SNL lately. But maybe The Rock will change that. He’s hosting soon, and I might have to tune in for this one. Click inside for more!
A history-making ad campaign
Over the years, I’ve fallen in love with the many celebrity Christian Dior campaigns. I’m not ashamed to admit that there may or may not be a Marion Cotillard Dior handbag ad hanging on my wall… because that is how much I adore those campaigns… but mainly Marion. Anyway, we now have some more gorgeous ads to get excited about, and Rihanna is also making history. She’s just been announced as the first black woman to be named the face of a Christian Dior campaign. Click inside for more!

Word is, it's about her ex-fiancé, Future
Not every artist can get me excited about a new video, but Ciara is definitely one of them. I practically fell over myself getting to the computer to watch I Bet. Because, CIARA. And her videos always make me strongly consider getting up and working out. Like, strongly consider it. Her latest visuals are as stunning as many of her older ones (though I have to admit, Ride is still my favorite). But even with Ballerina Ciara twirling around, everyone’s talking about the lyrics… and how much they sound like direct references to her ex-fiancé/IDIOT. Sorry, I know I don’t know them personally, but YOU DO NOT HURT THE CIARA! Anyway, check out the breakup anthem and tell me what you think! Me likey!

"I have nothing to hide”
Earlier this week, we saw the first photo of actor Charlie Hunnam on the UK set of Knights of the Roundtable, in which he stars as King Arthur, and today we learn a bit of exciting new Charlie Hunnam news. In a recent interview with Canadian Elle magazine, Charlie says that he would have no problem going full frontal in a project if asked. Charlie shares that he once filmed a full frontal scene back when he appeared on Queer as Folk in the UK but his manhood was censored and he was never allowed to show off what his mama gave him. Because he has got “nothing to hide”, Charlie says he’d be up for going full frontal again if need be … WHICH IS ONLY THE BEST NEWS IN THE WORLD. More »
PITNB's Weekly Discussion Forum
So I just finished reading this article on TIME and it sent out a great message about International Women’s Day 2015: Awareness is not enough. This year’s theme is “Make It Happen,” and it’s a very specific call to action for all of us. Twenty years ago in 1995 at the Beijing Platform for Action Hillary Clinton declared “women’s rights are human rights, and human rights are women’s rights,” and that was a HUGE deal. Sadly, it’s still a powerful declaration, because we are still living in a world where people do not understand how much that seemingly simple concept is undermined on the personal, political, social, and economical scales. So I’ve been thinking about what I can do to celebrate International Women’s Day (today, and every day this year), and I want to hear about what small or grand thing you plan to do as well.
