These pics = everything
Oh, I just love when dope people who do dope things hang out together! So, look. I’m not gonna make you writhe with anticipation. This is not, exactly, the Kanye West/Outkast collaboration we’ve maybe been waiting for. I know—totally disappointing. But Kanye West and André 3000 and Big Boi were all hanging out in Atlanta last night/early this morning and that’s plenty to get excited about. Click inside for more!
You are very welcome
Zac Efron and Pitch Perfect star Adam Devine have been spending some time in Hawai’i recently filming scenes for their new movie Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. As you can see below, the guys got all squeezed into skintight, very form-fitting wrestling singlets that give us a pretty good feel for what they are packing in their pants. Now, keep in mind, wrestling singlets are very tight and, therefore, they can be very unforgiving when it comes to truly showcasing the male form … so it might be wise not to judge too harshly based on what you see in the photos below. That being said, what are you waiting for? You know you wanna see what Zac Efron looks like all squeezed into a skintight wrestling singlet, don’t you? More »
Another Tarantino classic? Probably.
During the past two weeks I’ve had a blast reliving and re-loving some of my favorite Quentin Tarantino flicks. In thinking about the Game of Thrones episode that made headlines a few weeks ago, and other sexual assault scenes on TV, I got it in my head to imagine a world where more TV rape scenes were written by one of my favorite filmmakers. And, as a part of my very fun and indulgent research, I had to go back and watch Kill Bill and a few other classics, which was really fun. So I’m beyond excited to hear more details about his next movie, The Hateful Eight, which is getting a unique 70mm release before its digital release in January, 2016. Click inside for more!
“A girl can be friends with someone with a dick and not hop on it"
I take it all back. Every time I said she looked so young, every time I said it was too weird seeing her with her now-ex-boyfriend Big Sean, every time I thought she was just too adorable to be taken seriously, I was wrong. I just did not know Ariana Grande! Not even a little bit! Yesterday the pop star took to Twitter to let the world know that she is no longer interested in defining herself alongside a boy or a man, she’s tired of the bullshit double standards, and she’s asking the media to join her in actively changing the way women in the public eye are presented—in working towards the elimination of a misogynistic environment that exists at every turn. She may be cute, and she may wear cat ears and chew bubblegum, but I declare that we are now in the presence of a grown ass woman. Click inside for more!

ALSO, IS THERE A 'GILMORE GIRLS' MOVIE HAPPENING?!
Last night I was at the Brooklyn Museum for Target First Saturdays having a grand ol’ time watching my new favorite performer, Junglepussy, when PITNBr Jamie hit me up on Instagram to remind me that I lit’rally watched the entire Gilmore Girls season over the course of maybe two months, and I am OBSESSED. So yes. I am here for these amazing photos from the ATX TV Festival. There are also some really cool details from the panel, where the cast and creator talked about the origins of the show, auditioning, and the recent loss of former cast member Edward Herrmann. Oh, and THE POSSIBILITY OF A MOVIE?! Click inside for more.
ALL KINDS OF EPIC
Last night my BFFL asked me if I’d heard about Snoop Dogg and the unfortunate, offensive, disgusting “science project” comment he made about Caitlyn Jenner. We got into a discussion about the meme he posted on Instagram and one thing that bothered me most (besides the obvious hate and ignorance towards the trans community) is that he connected two stories that really had nothing to do with each other. And now Akon‘s exciting, brilliant, game-changing solar academy that could lit’rally change the world as we know it is unnecessarily linked to trans-bashing. That being said, I can say that, as someone who was excited about both stories, I think there was another way to point out that stories about the privileged, rich and famous—whatever the story is—will always make headlines and take over news channels, while stories about places like the continent of Africa will not. The truth is, even Kim Kardashian‘s second baby news would have broken the internet and legitimate news channels before Akon Lighting Africa ever could. And that is beyond messed up, and a symptom of major problems (and yes, we are all a part of that problem in some way or another). So let’s talk about this incredible story, because I am so, so excited about this!!!
"I said, Shonda, I’m not gonna do this unless I can take my wig off."
Months after the final episode of the first season of How to get Away with Murder, many of us are still reeling from the insanity that was ABC‘s new drama/thriller. I started off the season with some skepticism about whether or not the show was for me, but quickly got converted. Of course, one scene that did it for me in ways that few TV scenes have done it was the infamous wig-snatching scene. Viola Davis is god and we must all bow down before her is what I thought whilst watching, and now that I’m hearing that she actually refused to take on the role without that scene, I’m more convinced of her godliness. With the vocal talents of Nick Kroll, Aziz Ansari and Mark Maron
A few months back I fell head over heels in lurve with the new HBO series from Jay and Mark Duplass Togetherness. If you missed it, I have four (SPOILERY) words for you: Melanie Lynskey, nipple clamps. Except they weren’t nipple clamps, they were clothespins and you have to watch this show. Jay Duplass also won my heart with his role on Transparent, so I’m basically all about whatever he and his brother are doing. She looks uh-mazing.
Every summer this happens. The celebrities (and a few of my friends who are known for doing amazing things to their hair) start popping up with these gorgeous haircuts, and I’m all emotionally affected by it. Enter Mindy Kaling. I’m not ashamed to admit that I started singing that throwback song Da Business when I saw her hair because it is that good (and yes, that song is now about really great haircuts, and not sex stuff with Young Berg). She is gonna rock the bejeezus out of this cut, and maybe she’ll inspire some of you to go for the chop this summer too. Click inside for more!

"I demand that I climax. Women should demand that."
Well, I am just in love with this interview Nicki Minaj gave Cosmopolitan Magazine. It is, like, all over the place. What I mean is, on the one hand she’s saying things that people (including people like me) will want to automatically qualify as feminist, and then on the other hand she’s saying that when she grows up she wants to be barefoot and pregnant. LMAO! I love that she does not seem to have a significant amount of effs to give concerning our definitions of feminism and women empowerment and what agency means.
