'Looking', for a good time
Back in April we learned that HBO was in development of a gay Sex and the City-type series. In May, we learned that the series — which stars Jontahn Groff — was officially picked up by HBO. Today we learn not only that the series (set in San Francisco, CA) has been titled Looking but we also get our first sneak peek at the show. HBO released a short teaser clip for Looking to promote the series premiere on January 19. Click the embed above to get a taste of Looking and see what you think. Altho this teaser doesn’t show much, I must admit that I’m very much looking forward to the premiere of this show. SaTC meets Queer as Folk, sign me up.

"You're just trifling"
Late last month, Mariah Carey gave us our first look at the cover art for her new album title single The Art of Letting Go. Today we get to hear the song in full. Letting Go was supposed to come out over the summer but, if anything, the delay has made this moment all the sweeter. Mimi‘s new song is a midtempo track that hearkens back to the pop music sound that made her a megastar back in the 90′s. Click the embed above and get your FIRST LISTEN of Mariah Carey‘s new song The Art of Letting Go.
UPDATE: Altho MC posted the song on her official You Tube channel, the video has been made “private” so that it could be debuted on her Facebook profile. Until the embed above stars working again, you can hear the song here:
Little Sophie Singing 'To The Left, To The Left' Is Everything
You may think it’d be impossible to steal Beyoncé‘s shine– during the Mrs. Carter Show world tour, no less– but it’s finally happened. Bey sang a duet with an adorable young fan named Sophie and Sophie totally rocked her part on Irreplaceable. The 13 year-old suffers from blindness and also has hearing and muscle difficulties, but she should henceforth and forever more be known as the girl who got to sing with Beyoncé that one time. After the video was taken Sophie‘s sister explained, ‘She’s never really been able to go to a concert due to logistical reasons… She had no idea that [Beyoncé] was going to sing with her. It was amazing.’ Amazing, indeed. Peep the video for more!

This Is Gonna Be Fun
As you all know I am a ginormous Kevin Hart fan and I have yet to be disappointed by anything he’s done. In off-screen news, the comedian recently donated $250,000 to the public schools in his hometown of Philadelphia and he continues to do awesome things on-screen as well. Enter the Ride Along trailer. Kevin teams up with Ice Cube in this Training Day riff, and this first look is pretty funny. Peep the video for more!
Nothin' Like A Good Throwback
Justin Timberlake is sooo tryna get me to fall in love with him right now, LOL! JT is on his 20/20 Experience tour right now and he hit up the Barclays Center in Brooklyn the other night. Fans got a real Throwback treat when Justin decided to perform one of the greatest songs in the history of music, Bell Biv DeVoe‘s Poison. Peep the video to see Justin‘s cover, and click inside for the original music video, because– let’s be real– there’s nothing quite like the original.
The TV Guide
Last night was a very fun night for me. First, thanks to PITNB reader Stacy, I was able to attend the taping of Jimmy Kimell Live last night that featured Nine Inch Nails making their network TV debut as they promote the release of the new album Hesitation Marks. After the taping, I met up with my dear Josh Rosebrook to see Mazzy Star in concert at the Wiltern Theater. OMG. Two of my all-time fave bands in the same night, I could hardly believe it. I snapped some photos and film some video, which you can check out below. More »
"Why is America so Robophobic?"
Back in September we got to check out the first trailer for the upcoming RoboCop reboot film. Today we get to check out the just-released second trailer that, I must admit, looks all kinds of BAD ASS! I’ve been worried about this reboot from the start but everything that I’ve seen promotion-wise has impressed me more and more. I love the story that is alluded to in this trailer and I’m more excited than ever to see this movie. Altho I wish it would’ve been released this summer as originally planned, I don’t mind waiting until February to see this new version of RoboCop. If you watch closely, you’ll see a quick shot of Detroit, MI (where the story is set) of the future. It looks pretty damn good to me :) Check out the trailer and tell me it doesn’t look like a fun movie.

Um, this is CREEPY
So, remember how we heard yesterday that Justin Bieber hosted a private party rager with a coterie of ladies while he was vacationing in Brazil this week? Well, one of the lucky ladies who was in attendance at the event managed to film cellphone video from inside the residence where the party was hosted — despite attempts to strip all partygoers of their phones and the insistence that all partygoers sign non-disclosure agreements. This particular young woman managed to film Justin Bieber as he slept on the couch … which is just entirely too creepy, I think. But who, pray tell, is this young woman? The 'Highly Highly Anticipated' Memoir We've Been Waiting For
As Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues prepares to hit theatres this Christmas we have a few important words from Ron Burgundy to get us psyched for the film’s release. I’m sure y’all have been seeing his Dodge (or Yodge) commercials, but today our favorite anchorman is promoting himself. Let Me Off At The Top is a very big deal, and I definitely plan to nab a copy of this totally fictional autobiography. Peep the video for more!
The 'Greatest Singer in All the World' Returns
After a six year break from releasing English language albums, Céline Dion is back this week with a new album titled Loved Me Back to Life. In a new interview with omg! Insider, Céline talks about the release of her new album — which is all well and good — but it’s only when she is asked about Britney Spears‘s upcoming concert residency in Las Vegas that the interview gets really good ;) Click the video above to watch the interview and make sure you watch to the very end for the good stuff.
