You will LOL
On Friday, we got to see the first trailer for the upcoming superhero sequel film Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Today we get to see that trailer again but this time, with footage taken from the ’60s TV series Batman and the Superman movies of the early ’80s. This retro version of the Dawn of Justice trailer was brilliantly put together by a fan named Bobby Burns. Overall, this fan made trailer is fun but I think you will literally LOL in at least two places (both Batman scenes). Please enjoy, I know I did.
“My whole life has been getting me ready for this”
This Friday night, ABC will air Diane Sawyer‘s exclusive interview with Bruce Jenner where he is expected to open up about his gender transition. Altho we don’t yet know for sure what Bruce will talk about in this 2-hour interview, it is almost certain that his transition will be the main focus of his interview. Today, we get to see a new promo video for Bruce Jenner – The Interview that shows a bit more footage from the forthcoming special and includes appearances by some of his children. As you can see above, this new promo is still very coy about what the interview is all about but Jenner does make clear that his intent is never to hurt his children. Watch the promo video above and then set those DVRs to record Bruce Jenner – The Interview, which will air on ABC on April 24 at 9PM.
"We are fighting a bigger fight"
In early March, we learned that actress Sarah Michelle Gellar joined her husband Freddie Prinze, Jr. in the cast of the forthcoming second season of the Disney XD animated series Star Wars Rebels which, like the forthcoming Star Wars stand-along sequel/prequel film Star Wars: Rogue One, is set in the time period between Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. Today we get to check out the first trailer for Star Wars Rebels season 2 which, as you can see above, prominently features Darth Vader. It’s unknown how much of Darth Vader we will see throughout the second season of the show but this trailer makes it appear that he will be the big bad of the entire season (much like The Inquisitor was the big bad during Rebels season 1). If Darth Vader (voiced by James Earl Jones) is really a main character this time around, then I predict the second season of Star Wars Rebels is going to RULE ALL! There has been a LOT of great Star Wars news lately, I’m really loving it all so much.
The First Spin-Off Film in 'Star Wars' History
Back in March, we learned that the first stand-alone film in Star Wars film franchise history has been titled Rogue One. Today, we learn a bit about the plot line of Star Wars: Rogue One AND we get our first look at the first teaser video for the film. On the final day of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA, director Gareth Edwards revealed lots of new information about this SW stand-alone film … which is actually a prequel to the original Star Wars trilogy (Episodes IV, V and VI). Click below to learn the known deets about what we can expect from Rogue One and see the teaser video that was shown on the closing day of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim yesterday. More »
No TIDAL required
A few weeks ago, Rihanna released a stunning new single titled American Oxygen that was released first on Jay Z‘s new music streaming service TIDAL before it was made available for purchase elsewhere. Rihanna also released the music video for American Oxygen exclusively on TIDAL … until now. The video for Oxygen has finally been made available for viewing outside of TIDAL which is great news because, IMHO, the song is one of the best that Rihanna has released in her entire music career. American Oxygen follows the release of her previous single Bitch Better Have My Money and it couldn’t be more different. This stirring mid-temp ballad is not only beautiful to listen to it is also educational in lyrical content. Click the embed above to watch the video for American Oxygen and see what you non-TIDAL subscribers (meaning almost everyone on planet earth) have been missing.
"Corporate thought genetic modification would up the 'wow' factor"
Earlier this month, we got to see new footage from Jurassic World, the sequel film that is due to hit theaters in June. Today, we get something a whole lot better. Universal just released a global trailer for Jurassic World that features a LOT of new footage from the film. This new trailer gives us our best look yet at some of the dinosaurs that will feature in the movie … and it is jam-packed with action. If the first trailer released for Jurassic World last November was meant to highlight the wonder of the movie, than this trailer is meant to highlight the action. Click the embed above to watch this new trailer for Jurassic World and then click below to see a new movie poster for JW that features the massive Mosasaurus that we keep seeing in these trailers eating other massive animals. Kanye is the new Madonna
Last weekend, Madonna made a surprise appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival when she appeared on stage during Drake‘s headlining performance to suck face with him. Last night, Kanye West was the big surprise performer when he hopped up on stage to perform his new song All Day with The Weeknd during their set. As I understand it, The Weeknd did a cover of Kanye‘s 808s & Heartbreak during their set and that’s when Yeezus came out on stage. In addition to performing All Day, he also performed Can’t Tell Me Nothing, I Don’t Like (Chief Keef cover) and Black Skinhead. Click the embed above to enjoy Kanye‘s performance of All Day and see what you missed out in the desert of Indio, CA last night.
"You don't know anything about what's coming"
Back in January, we got our first look at the first teaser trailer for the upcoming rebooted version of Fantastic Four. Ever since, we’ve seen promo images HERE and HERE for the new movie but that’s about it … until now. The first, full-length trailer for Fantastic Four has been released and as you will see above, it gives us our first look at the villainous Dr. Doom (played by Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev rather than Victor Von Doom in the comics). This trailer also explains how Sue Storm and Johnny Storm are related (it turns out that she is the adopted sibling, which I love). Click the embed above to watch this just-release trailer and see what you think. I like it, do you? Fantastic Four hits theaters on August 7.

The Netflix response to Amazon's 'Transparent'?
If you know anything about my feelings on Amazon‘s Transparent (and by now, you should), you’ll know that I won’t stand for just any show being compared to it. Sure, Grace and Frankie takes on the theme of a late-age LGBT coming out narrative—and uses comedy to do so—but other than that, it doesn’t appear to remind me of my favorite show from 2014. There’s something, well, cheap about the laughs that this first Grace and Frankie trailer seems to encourage—as in, it’s funny because they’re older and gay… and that’s basically it. But there are some heavy hitters in the cast—Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterson and Martin Sheen are starring. I’m not sold yet, but I’m interested in seeing where this goes. Hopefully, there’s more to the series than this trailer suggests. Peep the video for more!
P.S. I just saw Nine to Five for the first time ever the other day. Life-changing. Just wanted you all to know.
