Is this real or nah?
A video is making the rounds that clearly shows a naked man climbing out of a window of what is claimed to be Buckingham Palace. As you can see above, the video appears to show members of the British royal guard in front of the palace and in the background, a naked man can be seen climbing out a window and down a tied bed sheet of the the palace. To be honest, it’s impossible to believe anything you see like this on the Internet so I doubt it’s authenticity. Even still, it’s a funny video that is worth watching … real or not. Have a look, see what you think. If this is a real video, any guesses whose window this naked man is climbing out of?

"Hey internet, YOU WON"
YES YES YES!! After the BRILLIANT fan film based on The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers was released online and then was yanked offline due to a copyright infringement complaint by Saban Entertainment, I am THRILLED to share the great news that a deal has been struck between the short film creators (director Joseph Kahn and producer Adi Shankar) and Power Rangers owners Saban Entertainment to allow the short film to remain online for viewing! The embed above features the censored, more sanitized version of the short film Power/Rangers that was posted on You Tube. The original, NSFW version that was uploaded to Vimeo is available below. Click below to learn more about the terms of this agreement deal to allow the short film to stay online and read Kahn‘s tweets about this victory. More »
"This film is a homage to the original creators of the Power Rangers"
Earlier this week, a fan short film homage to The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers was released by director Joseph Kahn and producer Adi Shankar and immediately delighted Power Rangers fans around the world. The next day, we learned that Saban Entertainment, the company that owns the Power Rangers characters, got pissed off by the fan film and started to get the video yanked offline by claiming copyright infringement. Vimeo was the first to cave and then, ultimately, You Tube caved as well. The video was taken off both video streaming sites even tho the short film Power/Rangers does NOT infringe on Saban‘s copyrights. Today we learn from Adi Shankar that he plans to keep fighting for his beloved short film and has teamed up with Facebook to keep the film online. Click below to read Shankar‘s updated statement about this on-going battle over Power/Rangers and watch the short film in a new Facebook hosted embed. More »
"Jem was always really diverse"
Earlier this week we got a new look at the upcoming Jem and the Holograms comic book series when the first photos of the comic book versions of The Misfits were revealed on the cover of Jem and the Holograms #2. Today we learn that the writer and artist of this new Jem comic book series have made two of the main characters gay. Kimber Benton (the keytar playing younger sister of Jerrica Benton / Jem) and Mary Stormer Phillips (the songwriter and guitar player for The Misfits) will be gay in this new comic book series and they will be involved in a romantic relationship. This is awesome! In the ’80s cartoon series, Kimber and Stormer were secret friends even tho they were on rival bands and they even had an entire episode devoted to their collaborative friendship. It would appear that this new comic book version of Jem will take that friendship and turn it into a love affair … which I fully support! More »
"How did we get so tangled?"
The Kelly Clarkson new song party continues today with the release of a new balled titled Tightrope. Thus far, Kelly has released a number of songs from her upcoming new album Piece By Piece (Let Your Tears Fall, Take You High, Run Run Run, Piece By Piece, Invincible, Heartbeat Song) and I’ve remarked that the songs just keep getting better and better with each new release. Today is no exception … Tightrope is a beautiful song both in lyrical content and in performance style. Kelly has such an amazing ability to sing fun, upbeat pop songs as well as slow, painfully beautiful ballads. Ugh. I love her so much. Thus far, I’m giving each new song a listen or two and then I’m holding off on repeat listens so that I can take in the entire album in full when it is released next week. Click above to hear Tightrope and then click below to read the lyrics to the song. More »
"I'm sorry, Beck"
Kanye West, the man who arrogantly called for Beck to “respect artistry” on Grammy night earlier this month, just formally apologized to Beck on Twitter for his disrespectful behavior. The apology was posted on Kanye‘s official Twitter profile shortly after he gave a long interview to Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 earlier today. Kanye also tweeted an apology to Bruno Mars for disrespecting him as an artist as well. Remember the new Rihanna song that we heard a couple of days ago, titled Towards The Sun from the upcoming Dreamworks animated film Home? Well, it turns out that fellow pop star Jennifer Lopez also has a song on the Home motion picture soundtrack. J. Lo‘s song is titled Feel The Light and you can hear it in full in the lyric video embedded above. The song is pretty good and, as you can hear, J. Lo sings the Hell out of it. With new music by Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez on the soundtrack, it sounds like Home might turn out to be a pretty decent movie. Does this movie look like something you’d like to see? As for this J. Lo song, do you like?
