"Welcome James, it's been a long time"
Last December we first learned that the new James Bond movie will be titled Spectre and it will hit theaters at the end of this year. Last month, we got our first look at the first promo photo released from Spectre. Today, we get to feast our eyes on the first teaser trailer for the much-anticipated sequel. As you can see above, James Bond appears to have some secrets that he’s been hiding and it would appear that those secrets are going to come to light when James Bond: Spectre opens in theaters this November. I can’t wait!! This first look at the film is sooo good, right?

"Tink is the one"
Last week, at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, TX, Timbaland took to the stage to introduce and promote his latest protégée, a Chicago rapper named Tink. In his speech about his new artist, Timbaland revealed that the late Aaliyah spoke to him in a dream and told him to sign her as an artist because he claims that Aaliyah told him, “Tink is the one“. Now, I don’t know about you but I think it’s very significant that Aaliyah is now an A&R agent in death. Click below to watch video of Timbaland making this revelation at SxSW last week and see what you think about his communication with Aailyah from beyond the grave. More »

We are just 3 weeks away from the premiere of the third season of Orphan Black so the promo push for the new season is in full swing. Last week we got to see a scene from the Orphan Black season 3 premiere episode and today we get to check out a great new teaser trailer. The new season of OB will focus on the introduction of the male clones from Project: Castor and as you can see above, they look like they are going to be a fun bunch. Gah! I can’t wait for this show to return. Orphan Black season 3 premieres on BBC America on April 18, my body is READY!

"They tried to make it about race. I don’t think that’s fair"
One thing that’s always interesting about race relations and conversations about race is the fact that most people believe that if they’re not an active member of the KKK, and they’ve never used the word “nigger” as a racial slur (and even if they have, but it was just an honest mistake… or whatever), then they are not racist, nor have they ever practiced racism. I’m sure the Ferguson mayor, James Wallace Knowles III, doesn’t think he’s a racist. But when you refuse to acknowledge or see racism in the very city you’re supposed to be running (or in any city, anywhere), you are a racist. Or a coward. Probably both. So here’s racist/coawrdice Ferguson mayor saying more racist ish, without even wearing a white hood over his head.
"LOOK AT MY TITS!!!"
J.K. Rowling switched gears a while back and published her first novel for adults, The Casual Vacancy. A lot of you were skeptical about the book, but also interested, given the author’s unprecedented success with the Harry Potter series. And someone must have liked the book because it’s been adapted into an HBO miniseries. Judging from this first drama-filled trailer, I will definitely be tuning in come April. Johnny Campbell (of Doctor Who) directed, and the three-part miniseries stars Rory Kinnear, Simon McBurney and Michael Gambon. Peep the video for more!
60 years ago this July
In honor of the upcoming 60th anniversary of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA, Disney has released a neat time-lapse video that shows the construction of Disneyland taking place over the course of one minute. I don’t believe this video has ever been made available before so it should be new to all y’all. It’s really damn cool to see the entirety of Disneyland being built in just a minute’s time. Please enjoy.

Audiences will meet Kurt for the first time
A couple of weeks ago, we got to see the first trailer for the upcoming documentary film Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck directed by Brett Morgan but executive produced by Cobain‘s daughter Frances Bean. Today we get to see an interview with Morgan about the film. According to Brett, audiences will be introduced to Kurt Cobain for the first time in his film because there is much that the public doesn’t yet know about him. We can look to HBO for the release of Montage of Heck but the film will show in select theaters so that it can be considered for Academy Award nomination. This is a pretty interesting interview but I’m just so ready to see the actual film itself.
The New Kids on the Block
Marvel has just released a new video featurette that introduces us to the new characters in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. As you can see above, Joss Whedon explains that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are twins, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, and they are very powerful additions to the the Avengers supergroup. Check out this video feature to hear Whedon, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chris Evans talk about these super siblings and what they will bring to The Avengers: Age of Ultron when it opens on May 1.
So, this is an odd feeling. I’m not 100% sure as to how I feel about last night’s Scandal. After the high of last week’s “It’s Good to Be Kink,” maybe I was expecting some more theatrics, but this week fell a bit flat for me. Even though we saw the return of one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Scandal characters, something felt a bit off. Or maybe Cyrus‘ Throwback wig was just too damn distracting. Let’s discuss together, and maybe I’ll be able to put my finger on it. Click inside for more!

She's still not that innocent
It’s hard to believe but Britney Spears‘s music video for Oops!… I Did It Again was released 15 years ago today back in 2000. Oops!, as you may know, was the first single from Britney‘s second album of the same name and was world premiered on an episode of Making The Video on MTV (remember that show?). I distinctly remember watching the show with my BFF Sarah back home in Michigan and altho I was already a big Britney fan, the Oops! video won me over completely. Sarah and I saw our first Britney Spears concert (from the front row!) when she launched her Oops!… I Did It Again Tour and I’ve never looked back … well, until now. It’s crazy to think that 15 years has passed since Britney squeezed into her red rubber bodysuit and took us to Mars but watching the video again (for the umpteenth millionth time) today, it’s easy to see how our dear Britney Spears became one of the biggest pop stars on the planet. Happy Birthday, Oops!
