First Look: One Direction Releases A Music Video For ‘You & I’

Power Ballad
You, I & 1D

Last month the members of One Direction shared a group selfie to prove to the world that they are NOT breaking up. Today, the further solidify their assertion that they are staying together as a musical unit with the much-anticipated release of the music video for their song You & I. 1D has been teasing this video for a few weeks now and finally, it’s out. The song is a slower ballad — which is only OK, IMHO — but the video is pretty neat. Have a look, have a listen, rejoice in the fact that 1D are still together and still going strong.

Spending My Maundy Thursday With †††

The TV Guide

Last night I made the trek down to Santa Ana, CA to see the band ††† live in concert and I am so glad I was able to make the trip. †††, or Crosses if you like, are a new band for me. I’ve heard some of their songs and was impressed by what I’ve heard about their live shows from friends in NYC so I decided to check them out in concert. They played The Roxy in West Hollywood on Wednesday night, which is much closer to me, but because I had tix to see The 1975 that night, I had to settle for the 50 minute drive to Santa Ana. ††† packed The Observatory to sold out capacity and it was clear to see why … they put on an amazing live show. Watch: Future & Kanye West Release A Music Video For ‘I Won’

A Hype Williams Film
Explicit Version

Earlier this month we got our first listen of Future‘s new single I Won, which features Kanye West on guest vocals and today we get to check out the just-released music video for the track. I Won is the first single from Future‘s new album Honest, which hits stores on Tuesday. As you can hear, the song features a lot of explicit lyrics so be careful were you watch/listen. Oh and I’m almost 100% sure that that is NOT Kanye‘s babymama in the clip. Enjoy.

Watch: Lindsay Lohan Cries Over The Release Of Her ‘Sex List’, Says It Was Part Of Her Rehab Recovery

“That was actually my fifth step in AA at Betty Ford"

Last month a list of famous men that Lindsay Lohan supposedly had sex with was leaked to the world (HERE and HERE) and in the upcoming season finale episode of Lohan‘s docu-series Lindsay, she talks about how the leak of that list has affected her. Through tears, Lindsay says that the leaking of that list was “f*cked up”, “mean” and “cruel” … which seems to imply that the list was genuine, ie. written by her. Last night on Bravo‘s Watch What Happens Live, Lindsay spoke more jovially about the list while playing a game with host Andy Cohen. While Lindsay said she would not “confirm or deny” the legitimacy of the list, she did say very plainly that YES, she wrote out the list as party of her recovery while in rehab. Watch video of Lindsay crying about the list AND laughing about the list below. More »

Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning offer some insight along with the film’s director and screenwriter interspersed with scenes from the movie. It’s a neat clip, I think you’ll enjoy it.

Watch: Joey Fatone Says There Is ‘Absolutely 100% No’ Chance Of A *NSync Reunion

Plus, he says BSB are only on tour cuz they need the money
0% chance of a *NSync Reunion

Back in August, the members of *NSync reunited for a hot minute (er, a hot 30 secs) at the MTV Video Music Awards which honored Justin Timberlake with a special award. Soon after, folks wondered if a full blown *NSync reunion was in the works. Lance Bass has gone on the record to say, nope, there will be no reunion. Today we get to see a video interview with Joey Fatone who says that there is 100% no chance of a *NSync reunion right now. Sorry, folks.

Joey also talked a bit about boy band rivals Backstreet Boys being on tour. According to Fatone, they’re only on tour because they need the money. Shade Shade Shade! Watch video of Joey making his BSB comments below. More »

#ThrowbackThursday: Here Are The 20 Best Animated Music Videos From ‘Jem And The Holograms’

The Best of Jem AND The Misfits

For Throwback Thursday today I was inspired by the recent talk about that live-action Jem and the Holograms movie that is being produced. Because I’m so worried that the movie will fail to live up to the expectations of fans who have LOVED the original animated series for almost 30 years, I was inspired to go back and remember what made Jem and the Holograms so great in the first place. MTV ruled the world back in the 1980′s and Jem and the Holograms wisely capitalized on that fact. In each episode, there would be 3 music videos from the animated bands Jem and the Holograms and their rivals The Misfits. I have compiled a list of the 20 BEST animated music videos from the cartoon Jem and the Holograms. 10 of the videos are by Jem and the Holograms and 10 of the videos are by The Misfits. As you can see below, the Jem songs are all about positivity, love and hope. The Misfits songs are about greed, personal gain and selfishness (which CLEARLY means their songs are better). I’ve added a bonus 21 music video at the end of the list that features both Jem and the Holograms AND The Misfits singing the same song. I hope you will enjoy this trip down memory lane. Jem and the Holograms remains one of my all-time favorite cartoons. I think the music videos below will show you exactly why I love the show so much :D Please, let me know in the comments below which music video/song is your fave.
